Positive: Clean room and great staff. Shuttle service from airport. Negative: Location is far from anything "Nashville." The restaurant at the hotel was over priced at half the price for the food offered. The $15 breakfast buffet would have been disappointing at free. It's a Sheraton Hotel and should have some quality control for the food service offered. Expect nothing "Nashville" at this location. The 4 days we were here not one country song played from the hotel speakers in the common areas. ... Read more

Hotel was beautiful. Staff was typical southern friendly. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. Staff could not have been more helpful. We had a minor issue and they immediately took care of it and were very apologetic. I will be back to this place again. Thank you!!!!

Spent a week here for a work conference. Check in was pleasant. The room was less then stellar. Whoever cleans these rooms, should really have someone check after them. It just wasn't cleaned up very well. My balcony was connected with other rooms and trash bags were placed outside of my window. The restaurant in house is terrible. Food was bad at breakfast ($15) and again at lunch. And way overpriced for the quality. The General Manager was very visible and he was constantly walking around aski... Read more

I recently held a military event with around 125 people at this hotel and the staff went above and beyond to make it a successful weekend. Ivanka Smith, Ann Hysell, Sheila Martin and Ken Brisbane always seemed to be one step ahead predicting when we might need something. The rooms were ready for check in and the process went smooth. Thank you for making this event such a success.

Good customer service, clean rooms as always, great shuttle service to airport. You can even keep your car there while you fly out of town for vacation. Only down point was that the hot tub would not turn on the super jets (it was still hot though).

The front desk staff were exceptional! We were upgraded to a extra large corner club suite and were delighted with the comfortable drop bed,the pool, and the benefits of the club evening happy hour. We ordered room service and it arrived quickly. Our only complaint would be that the potatoes and vegetables that accompanied our grilled chicken breast dinner were not thoroughly cooked and were cold. For $50 we did expect a hot meal. The hotel is in a great location for early flights out of BNA. We... Read more

We stayed at the Sheraton Music City in Nashville years ago and remembered it as very pleasant but what a disappointment it is now. I think this must be the same carpet they had back then, it is in such rough shape. In fact, all the carpeting throughout the entire hotel is worn out. The toilet in our bathroom is worn out. The sink fixtures are worn out. Where is the fridge for our room? This is the most tired looking hotel we have ever stayed in. Sheraton used to be a "go to" brand for me but no... Read more

Stayed here for 5 days during the CMA Festival. Turned out to be a perfect location. Only took 12 minutes to get to the stadium or downtown. The rooms are spacious and we were told that they were planning a renovation. There are two pools, one outside and one inside. The restaurant and bar were quite nice. Only real complaint is that there was no in room safe. Can't remember the last hotel I was in that did not have a safe in the room.

I chose this hotel because our previous stay was exceptional. This time it was less exceptional and there may not be next time. We had a confirmed suite upgrade and I was unpleasantly surprised to see just a really oversized room. Noone seemed to make an attempt to fill or decor the empty space, so the king bed in a huge empty space looked somewhat unwelcoming. The floors are terribly designed and it is quite complicated to find your way up/down and around these floors. I remember the club loun... Read more

The hotel was a fine hotel, and when newer must have been a really elegant place. It could be again, if carefully tended to, and nurtured properly. Sitting high on a hill, and commanding a presence where it is, it also has a lobby that is quite nice, as is the bar, and little eating areas spread out around that. The staff was GREAT!!! My Hotwire addiction sometimes leads me to great new finds. Sheraton Music City was one of those. The hotel grounds are great. Very unlike the big concrete block structures you typically encounter. First, the hotel is pretty nice. The Customer Service is the issue here. When you pay for a hotel, you pay for certain amenities. Now, I know that is an act of God which is unpredictable but our first night in the hotel was sans air in July. It was miserable. A family member booked this room without discussing it with me first, but after reading the TripAdvisor reviews I felt like I knew what to expect. The exterior and lobby wasn't my style, but it was nice. Erica, who checked us in was absolutely lovely, and went above and beyond making my father's birthday a special one. But, I do have some negatives. The room was beyond outdated and was in desperate need of an update. Our sheets weren't changed from the last guest and their hair was ALL in the ... Read more

Our three night stay was marred by leaking ceiling tiles that led to a moldy smell and very slow and unreliable elevators. However the staff is so great (example Raquel Turnipseed at reception) that we couldn't be mad. To a person everyone was wonderful in every department. The pool is nice and breakfast buffet is yummy. We pulled up to the entrance and it was breathtaking. It was on top of a hill and beautiful. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. They answered our questions and gave us tips of downtown Nashville. Our room was very clean with a view from the balcony that was very nice. It was a view of the pool area and there was a tree by our balcony with sparrows in it that were so cool to watch. We were registered for one night, but we decided to stay an extra night. The staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. I was expecting a positive experience from my overnight stay. The bed and pillows were wonderfully comfortable and the room spacious, though there were several stains in the carpet. They must have the thinnest walls I have ever experienced in a hotel. This hotel is close to the airport but away from downtown nashville. However a shuttle bus was available every hour for $10 return. The lobby and bar fantastic, great staff and food was pretty good. It is a huge hotel, lots of business conferences held there and the room we had was a fair walk from the lobby. The room we had was very spacious.

I needed to get away so I booked a flight to Nashville. Never traveling alone before I was a bit scared, being a 27 year old female and all. I researched so many hotels and still the reviews of the hotels in the area were very scattered. Let me tell you, I have stayed at over 100 hotels in my life all over the country and this place is in my top 5. My flight landed at 9 PM and I called the front desk. They had the shuttle to me within 15 minute. The airport shuttle is free, and the driver was su... Read more

This hotel is close to the airport and a short drive from downtown Nashville. Although the decor and furnishings are a bit dated, the hotel rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and the hotel staff is charming and helpful! We had a junior suite, which was nice since my husband had to work in the room. We didn't dine at the hotel restaurants, but appreciated the self serve Starbucks in the morning.

Well, if you're not going to attend a convention or conference then there is no need to choose this hotel. First, it is not up to modern standards: wifi is slow and for high speed you have to pay extra (even as a gold SPG member), no safe in the room, old bathrooms, carpets with lots of stains and no power outlets for charging the numerous modern devices. Second. colours are from the late 90ies, so all very dark and brownish. Rooms are slightly brighter but still ... Third, the location totally ... Read more

This is the single worst business hotel experience I have ever had. After fifteen stays here the place has become a virtual disaster. Upon check in I was sent to a room that hadn't been cleaned. I called downstairs and it took them an hour to send me a key for a new room. The new room had no room service menu or hotel information and when I asked for it they promised it would come but never did. The room service dinner of meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans was the the biggest insult to ga... Read more

This hotel is a little way from downtown but there is a shuttle bus for guests. Rooms are very clean with nice linen in the bathroom. The restaurant is quite small but food excellent. Gay in the bar area is a real joy! We were greeted by Bonell who took our bags to our room. He is a real asset to this hotel, being local and very knowledgeable. He suggested several things to do whilst staying here. A nice touch is complimentary coffee in the foyer in the mornings.

Very nice hotel! Met all the demands for the convention that I was attending. The best highlight was the bell captain whose name is Bonell. Best attendant ever! Even after 3 days of staying there he stilled remembered our names! The room was extremely nice however there is no microwave, refrigerator nor in room safe. That is the reason why I give a very good rating and not an excellent rating. I will recommend this place for people to stay. Very convenient to town and airport.

I really enjoyed my visit this past weekend to this hotel. The check-in staff, housekeeping staff, and F&B staff were all amazing and friendly. The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. I found the bed to be amazingly comfortable and appreciated the directions on how to keep the A/C on without being in the room as I can't stand a hotel room to be hot. I would recommend this hotel and will stay there again if I need a weekend away.

I'm sure this hotel was beautiful in 1980 but now it is just sad. Old decorations and furniture, stained carpets and hallways that smell of bad body odor. Large convention hotel so room was long walk. Room was large and beds comfortable. Kimberly who checked me in was a delight!

We came to visit to Opry and even though it was a little distance from the Opry it was worth it. Very clean and friendly staff. The breakfast was pricy but very good also. The distance gave us places to explore. The airport is also nearby also.

I am shocked to see any bad reviews for this hotel considering how many really bad hotels there are in this area. For a very nominal price, this hotel was fabulous. Large, roomy, clean room with very soft cushy bathrobes. Wolfgang Puck coffee in the coffee maker and high end toiletries. The lobby is gorgeous, staff friendly and helpful and continual coffee in the front area. If ever I am back in Nashville I would only stay here.

The parking lot was over filled and was unable to park close to the hotel. There was a convention running during the time that was there and was a lot of traffic inside the hotel. There are not any microwaves or mini-refrigerators inside the room. The staff is friendly and the location is within 15 minutes of down town. I am giving a low rating due to the parking issues.

Loved this place!! The rooms were nice. The courtyard was beautiful and peaceful. The food was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful and the Starbucks coffee and tea in the room were delightful. The only downfall was there shuttle driver who was driving way to fast and nearly hit another car but thanks to the passengers screaming in the front we missed the car by inches.

My visit was to attend a conference of about 400 attendees, so my comments only relate to conference space and banquet facilities. There are several things to note. First, the space comfortably accommodated both the large number attendees in one space as well as our needs to break out into smaller groups. Food for the meals and receptions was very tasty.

Okay, so the staff is great at the front desk, the check in was smooth and easy, as I'm gravitating towards not interacting with the front desk and doing the mobile check in @ other major chains (hint hint). The room and hallways were (very) dated, and a refresh is in order. I agree with other reviewers that the carpets, bedding and draperies have to be at least 15 years old. However, I can live with that if everything in the room in clean, and crisp. I dropped my power chord next to the bed (an... Read more

Stayed at the Sheraton Music City for 2 nights. They allow extremely loud partying in the common courtyard in the middle of the hotel. I made multiple calls about the disturbance up until 12:45 am. The next morning when I inquired about the issue the front desk staff said that they couldn't "catch" the people, which I find odd since there were about 20+ people (making the noise) that never left the area. I was on the 4th floor and could clearly hear their conversations. If you must stay here, re... Read more

Rooms are huge, clean, welcoming hotel, outside pool was closed for the season so we used the indoor pool & hot tub which were clean and towels were provided. Housekeeping & reception staff are great but food and drink from the bar is very expensive. Breakfast was reasonable & offered a good selection in the buffet. I agree with some posters before me... If you have a conference here, great. If you don't...find a different hotel. The hotel is old, which at first was elegant (in the lobby) but then when you get to the hallways and the rooms you realize a renovation is badly needed. The biggest problem for us was that the window blinds need replacing. Come sun-up time, there was no way to block out the bright sunshine because there were holes in the "black-out" drapes. It was also very noisy. I could hear eve... Read more

This place was undoubtedly THE place to stay in /near Nashville in the 1980's. It was clean but the elevators were slow and clunky. The breakfast buffet was $16.00. I have never paid that price for breakfast in any hotel even in much larger cities. The room was compact but clean. The walls are poorly insulated and you hear a lot of the sounds from the neighboring rooms. The location is convenient to I-40.

I attended a conference here and the hotel was more than adequate. Free parking, not too far from down town, which was an easy drive or they offered a shuttle bus. The room was spacious and clean and the bathrooms were just fine. Would I choose to stay here for my vacation? NO. but as far a conference hotel goes, it was great! I had a room facing the pool, which was really nice for early morning sun!

Check in line was long. 2 clerks and the line behind me was 6 and 1 in front of me. This hotel has seen better days. The gave me a room on the 1st floor but going up the stairs with luggage forget it. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was average and clean. This place needs TLC. My room faced the pool so it was loud. You could hear everything and everyone.
