This hotel is terrific if you are looking for function rather than charm. The rooms were spacious and kitchens were terrific. Everything was extremely clean and working well, the staff was very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was fine, and the free shuttle service they provide to get around the area was a wonderful bonus. The only downside is that it is not directly on campus (Vanderbilt). If you are willing to walk about 10-15 min, it's perfect. The shuttle can help, but when it's a crowded... Read more

Rooms are like a hospital. Cold showers, dirty bathroom. Poor service front desk didn't answer the phone then denied it when we canceled our stay. Good location close to mid town, but there are better hotels in the area.

The room was clean, front desk helpful, the free shuttle down town outstanding and the breakfast basic but tasty. The only thing is I had a room fronting the street and there was some late night noise (but this is a party town). Also it looks like the hotel has a pool but it's really a huge hot tub. I understand it may be possible to use the pool at the Hilton garden next door but I found the hot tube ok!

Everything about this hotel was excellent. Especially the staff. They welcomed us warmly, eagerly, cheerfully and politely. And any requests after check-in were immediately attended to. This is a place to comfortably stay when traveling and provides a clean, spacious room. We were in a suite which was very large so I don't know about a single room. This is the first Hotel2 I've stayed in and is relatively new. I will definitely stay here again.

I booked this hotel expecting a quality Hilton room that I could recover from surgery for a day with a kitchen. I was woefully unimpressed and had the worst hotel stay of mine in over 20 years. On my floor the hotel allowed, not one, but two 21 year old birthday parties to happen. So, after repeated called to the front desk, we endured noise and partying in the halls until 3AM. I would never recommend this property. Clearly the weekend mangers were il-equiped to deal with this situation. S... Read more

I stayed here for 5 nights and would stay here again anytime I'm looking for non-luxury hotel with tons of amenities. The rooms are spacious (including the bathroom), with lots of surface space and power outlets. Since I was there for several nights, the biggest plus was having an almost complete kitchen. Full-sized sink and microwave, large refrigerator and freezer, drip coffee maker (bring your own filters if using your own coffee) garbage disposal, full sets of bowls, places, silverware, glas... We had a couple questions prior to our visit and the manager was very helpful and even set up our room before we got on a plane. The hotel is in a premier location and walking distance to great food and entertainment. From the house keepers to the front desk, we were always welcomed with a warm smile. I was impressed at how clean the bathroom was. We always check thoroughly and it was spotless. Furniture had damage, looked like a cat scratching post, so it made us wonder about what else might unseen. Pros: Price, cleanliness, helpful Staff Cons: Room was near elevators and facing busy street. Unable to get a good nights rest.

My experience with Home2 Vanderbilt was very good and I would recommend it to anyone. I was completely satisfied with everything. Having a little snack area in the lobby was very handy and the complimentary breakfast was superb.
