We were only staying one night on our way to Georgia, so we chose this because it was a little cheaper than some of the other downtown hotels. We made a good choice. It is only a two blocks away from the museum and waterfront district and the room was spacious and clean. There is a restaurant on premises and there are many other choices within an easy walk. The staff is friendly and helpful and they have an indoor pool and gym. It is downtown so they have valet parking for which they charge a r... Read more

We came down for a quick two day getaway and choose this hotel based on affordability and we LOVED IT! It was located within walking distance to all of the attractions we wanted to see. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean and new. The only drawback was parking is valet parking only at $14 per night; however, it did save time because parking is horrendous downtown. We also took advantage of the outdoor patio which we all enjoyed.

We booked this location based on the age of the property and other reviews. I am also a Spire Elite Ambassador member with the IHG Group. I was excited to see a new Holiday Inn in Chattanooga and was hoping for a similar experience as we had at the newer Holiday Inn in Downtown Charleston. Sadly, the property did not meet expectations...while the room was clean, the common areas and elevators were dirty (overflowing trash cans, filthy elevator floors, used towels laying on the deck around the fi... The room was great, and I don't have anything to complain about it. One problem was that valet parking was $14 or so, and we were already parked across from the hotel, so the person running that parking place had allowed us to have our car there overnight. I do understand that this is downtown though. In the morning, the fire alarm was going off for some reason. I have no idea if this was intentional or an accident, but that wasn't great. Also, there wasn't any free breakfast included. I may com... Read more

I am a spire Ambassador for IHG who owns Holiday Inn. I have been in properties all over the with IHG. This is a relatively new hotel just opened before the first of the year. The location to the riverfront and attractions is great. Mostly walking distance to everything, The Aquarium, the riverfront, restaurants etc. The hotel is great, the rooms are all very modern and updated and the Brazilian restaurant on site is great. Front desk guy who checked me in. His name was Brylant. I asked if they had any distilled water for my CPAP machine, and usually hotels don't. Naturally, they didn't, but 30 minutes later, he had went out to the store and bought me a gallon of distilled water without me even asking. That was really surprising customer service going way above and beyond.

My boyfriend and I came to Chattanooga for a weekend get away. This hotel was excellent. Everything was clean and modern. One of the best features was that it was within walking distance of many great attractions and restaurants. They have a Brazilian steakhouse located in the hotel and it was fabulous. We received excellent service and everything was clean and nice. The beds were very comfortable I would definitely stay here again

I did not have time to visit the restaurant inside hotel but I will next time. The kids loved the swimming pool. The coffee was good and strong. Clean, modern, great value, friendly staff, close to everything. There was some hall noise, but it was a holiday weekend (July 4th) and it seems no one has respect for others anyway. I've experienced much worse. Would stay again. Someone mentioned a shower stall...that is correct. No tub in our room. Shower was as large as a typical tub/shower combo. Comfortable bed with firm or soft pillow options.

the holiday inn downtown was a great hotel stay. the staff was friendly and knowledgeable.our room was quiet, comfortable, and clean. bed was comfortable. the valet service was quick and polite and very friendly also. the 14 dollar charge is acceptable to me if you are going to visit any of the downtown attractions, as parking is sometimes hard to find on the streets, and if you use the pay parking facilities you typically pay 5 dollars for a limited time.

Clearly this is a pretty new property downtown and it shows with everything looking very modern from lobby to the room furnishings. The valet guys were very helpful and friendly. The only thing I thought was odd was the sundry room downstairs they charge you $3 for a bottle of water but the machines on each floor $2 for same bottle of water (I know it's not much, I just found it weird). First let me say this was a last minute booking. We booked this hotel because of the location and price. Both were prefect! The hotel staff was very friendly! The valet parking was different. I'd never been to a place where someone parked my car? They charge $14 a day and we didn't drive our car the whole time of our stay due to the convenience of the hotel. So to me the $14 was a waste.
