My husband and I were in Nashville for the Country Music Awards in Nov of 2015. We thought we would wing it and find a hotel when we arrived and that was a huge mistake because every hotel downtown was booked or $500 and up a night. We went a few years back and it was not too hard to find a nice hotel at a reasonable rate but I guess that was before county music was this popular. Anyways to make a long story short we drove around the entire city with crazy traffic and I almost settled in the cra... Read more

Stayed here so we could be near the Grand Ole Opry, The staff was friendly and helpful - especially Terry and Ronnie. Terry seemed to do every job there, and he did it with a smile on his face. We stayed in one of their suites, which is a great option if you want a little more room. The hotel was quiet and clean. The breakfast offered pretty much anything you would want to eat. The hotel offers a shuttle to downtown ($10 roundtrip) that is a convenient way to get there without the hassle of driv... Read more

The people working at the hotel were very friendly and extremely helpful. I did have a problem with the bathroom in the room the morning I was leaving. The power went out. I advised the lady checking me out. Outside of this my stay was enjoyable. I did have problems being woke up in the middle of the night, but this is not the hotels fault. It was the guests staying in rooms near me.

A couple of things, #1 linens only changed once in 4 days, my first morning I accidently dropped a little coffee on my sheets an blanket, not much but enough. When I returned really late that evening and turned the bed down I noticed the spots. Then the morning I was checking out, noone was at the front desk. It was about 415am, waited as long as I could, then left almost missing my flight. Housekeeping did ok, unlikely I will stay there during my next few trips back in the area. Sorry.

had problems with revpservations from the get go, front desk staff doesn't speak good English which turned out to be an issue. Was told on several occasions the free shuttle makes regular rounds at the airport however we found out the hard way we have to call for service. The pillows had hair on them as did the sheets, very gross. Spend the extra money and go across the street. Will never visit again.

This Holiday Inn provided an enjoyable experience. We stayed in a king suite, and the size of the room was nice. I only have two complaints. The thermostat on the air conditioner did not work correctly, so the room was always too warm or too cold. The refrigerator was not working correctly until it was reset. There was also a large pink stain on the carpet, but that was not a big deal. The breakfast was edible, the room smelled good and was clean, the parking was satisfactory, and the location i... First trip to Nashville and picked a great hotel. The grounds, rooms, and hotel itself are clean, quiet and restful. We arrived late morning not thinking we'd get a room but wanted to pre-check in, park, and enjoy our time in Nashville. They had a room ready and waiting for us!!! They offer a complimentary breakfast, eggs, sausage, cereals, etc, was nice. Indoor pool which was clean, and workout room with the basics, just right including the price, for a wonderful stay. Location is great close to Opryland and there are several local bar/restaurants that are worth visiting. This is a very typical HIE property....clean, good staff, nice room, etc. Felt safe. Location was OK...it was a long walk to Opryland. Breakfast was a little weird....no small milk boxes....had to pour out of a gallon. Got checked in early....gal was very nice. The General Lee Car was right down the street. The price was a little higher than I would normally pay. But....overall....a very good experience.

One thing that I always look for is luggage carts and good parking before I even get to our room. This property has lots of luggage carts and plenty of parking even though we arrived rather late. Next of course is the room. Our room had a nice large refrigerator with lots of useable outlets. We are on the 4th floor and we have a view of a swampy area.Saw plenty of birds the next morning. We picked this hotel balancing out price and location. Overall it was ok. However it's probably one of the worst Holiday Inns I've experienced in a while. No pool towels ever refilled, cold lobby coffee, no luggage carts (saw only 1-2 my whole time there). Not exactly the greatest crowd outside the hotel at nights either. For one night it will do....longer and I would have looked harder.
