Miles was very helpful with places to see and he recommended several restaurants The room was comfortable and clean . The breakfast each morning is an added bonus plus they had food in the afternoon . This hotel is a few blocks from Broadway and across the street from the country hall music museum . Hampton Inn Downtown 310 4th Avenue South is centrally located to many wonderful venues. The hotel rooms are typical Hampton Inn sized rooms and the cleanliness of the rooms are kept up to a high standard. The only down side is the parking fees although when a hotel is centrally located in downtown Nashville one must pay parking and the fee is relatively average.

We recently spent four days in Nashville, staying at the Hampton Inn Downtown. It was the perfect location, allowing us to walk to everything we wanted to do. The trade-off was an extremely high street noise level, but I guess that goes with choosing a location in the center of all the action. Our room was clean, comfortable, and in very good condition, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was packed everyday, which made breakfast a circus, but the breakfast crew hustled the en... Read more

We found the hotel to be very well situated, a short walk from the Country Hall Of Fame and Broadway. The breakfast was excellent and snacks were available in the afternoon. I had a problem accessing the WiFi and found Giles in reception really helpful in solving it. One afternoon we returned to our room just before 4pm and it hadn't been made up (she arrived just after we did) but that was the only minor quibble. We would definitely stay there again.

With clean rooms and excellent service we had a great experience. The staff was extremely attentive detail and just two short blocks away from Broadway. This hotel is surrounded by plenty of landmarks, restaurants and just a block away from the Johnny Cash Museum so this place is a great bargain. The only downside is the expensive valet parking. However, if you do a little research you can find other options for less expensive parking.

The hotel itself was great, the amenities were outstanding and the staff perfect. The price was a bit high for what I usually pay, but proximity to downtown locations and the ambience justified it. The desk staff were some of the best I've encountered.

They told us that the hotel was being refurbished at the end of the year, and it's getting to be about that time. Our desk chair had a broken back frame, so if you leaned back, you were going to fall over backwards. I did not expect them to have a spare in the closet, but instead of waiting six more months, someone could go out and buy a replacement even at an Office Depot or Staples. One day our room was not made up at all, and after we said something at the front desk, someone came to our d... Read more

My sister, niece and her friend, and I were traveling to Knoxville, TN and wanted to stay a night in Nashville. When we pulled up, we were greeted with a big smile from the valet driver. The lobby was lovely and the breakfast was awesome, well-stocked and delicious!!! Unfortunately, the rooms were not renovated like the lobby...ours was bland and the bathroom was horrible. Missing tile you could see behind the wall, hooks looked like they had never been wiped, and everything was really worn and not kept up. WAY overpriced for the kind of room we had.

We stayed for 2 nights and liked the location. Hotels in Nashville are not cheap and valet parking was about 32 dollars / night. For Nashville, this hotel was pretty fair value. This was nearing the end of a 14 day road trip. It was the 5th hotel on the trip. We'll always pick a Hampton Inn over any other hotel. The Suites easily accomodate a family of five. There were warm cookies in the evening after the kids swam. There are 2 elevators, one is a shared service elevator and the floor was SO sticky! The room was clean, the beds always very comfortable. My only complaint of the hotel was the room 407 that we stayed in for a week had a hole in the wall by the first bed that was badly repaired. It just made the room look shabby. I liked the breakfast and the cookies at night. The help was great but I did not mention the ugly repair In the room.. The rest of the hotel was fine. The pool was very clean and the hot tub. I would recommend this hotel. It is very close to Broadway where all the action takes place.

Five ladies on a Nashville weekend - always enjoy staying at the Hampton Inns in the cities we travel and this was no exception. The staff was so helpful especially Roxie who gave us answers to all of our questions. We had a suite which was laid out nicely to accommodate five people. The pool area is good size but was never used - most people are wandering the streets - fun music place. Breakfast was included and it was just enough and in the late afternoon they offered hot dogs or nachos wi... Read more

Within walking distance to everything downtown. 2 blocks from Johnny Cash museum. The only real negatives, if any (and now I'm being picky) is the carpet in 2 of our ro... Read more

Stayed at the Hampton Inn by the Bell Tower for a meeting. It was very convenient to the attractions on Broadway. The lobby and rooms were nicely decorated with modern decor. The lobby was a little hot. The free water was a nice touch. Valet parking is $32 plus tax a night. Only complaint about the room was the water pressure in the shower. Not great at all.

A little high priced. We are not used to paying the cost at Hampton Inns. I realize that it was downtown Nashville, but we normally do not pay this price for Hampton. I expected just a little more different for the price. The hotel was very nice and the staff great. It was just the price for the hotel and the additional price for the parking. Adding the taxes all together about $ 350 per night for Hampton. I am just not used to paying that much money for a Hampton Inn. Other than than, i... Read more

We love staying at Hampton Hotels. But, this one was far from what we love about Hampton's. Our room had not been remodeled to the Hampton standards. There was a picture missing from the wall and a hole where it should have been. The stand up shower with old sliding doors leaked. So the floor was soaked when you got out. They lock the side doors early, which was fine for security, but our keys would not work to let us in. They serviced our room between 3 and 4, which was when we wanted to... Read more

Breakfast was as expected, comparable to other Hamptons, and accommodated a large crowd.
