Very nice DoubleTree by Hilton. Very centrally located. The hotel has a valet parking service. I'm n the morning it can take up to 15min to get your car. That's a bit annoying. Otherwise very friendly staff, nice atmosphere, big and clean rooms. Definitely a good location to spend a good time in Downtown Nashville!

We visited Nashville from the U.K again this year after staying in May 2015. We choose the DoubleTree as it was closer to downtown than where we were before.Hotel was great, staff were all pleasant and really helpful. The location was ideal for visiting Broadway bars and other attractions as they were just a nice walk away.We loved our stay. Thanks everyone.

Although only spending one night here, the staff were amazing! Handing out fresh baked chocolate cookies! Not once, but twice! Yummy! The room was great, location was perfect for walking to see the downtown sights. Bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again when next visiting Nashville.

We just checked into this property today. We were supposed to stay at the Embassy Suites by the airport for our first night before heading downtown Nashville. It was very late when we got here and frankly, I was a little annoyed at the lackluster service at the last Hilton property. Adrian absolutely turned it all around, with assistance by Stephanie. They were warm, welcoming, and cordial. In addition, they helped us rearrange our reservation (from the Embassy Suites Vanderbilt) so that we... Read more

The moment we arrived we were greeted by an angel, the sweet, delightful Elizabeth. She made such a strong first impression that I'm still thinking about her smile! Due to our early flight we arrived at 8am expecting to store our baggage until afternoon check-in, but our room was available! The room was larger than expected. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was very strong. We noticed our refrigerator was missing but a very helpful engineering empl... Read more

So, decide to take a quick trip to Nashville--never been before. Hotels are very expensive but I finally find a reasonably priced deal ($209/night) here at the Double Tree. So not worth it. They really don't care about individuals--this place caters to conventions and weddings, etc. One little couple--they could care less. The concierge was not even able to tell me how long it would take me to drive to the Grand Ole Opry! Had an incident at 4:15 am with a loud group of guys hollering outsi... Read more

We waited about 5 minutes to check in as it was quite busy and finally got up to our room. The rooms were a decent size and just perfect for what we needed. the hotel was situated a 5 minute walk from Broadway which was great, the Ryman was just down the street and then a little further was the country music hall of fame so we never needed to use the car much. Hotel is within walking distance to everything downtown. Hotel is clean, just dated. Stayed in the Doubletree in Lexington KY. and that's the benchmark I compare back too. I'm just amazed at the difference in the properties. And the Kentucky location was half the price. At this location, you pay, 30 plus, for valet parking, or go across the street and pay 20. I would think that hotel parking would be included. So get ready for 250.00 to turn into almost 300.00 when taxes, and fee's are added, th... Read more

It is a short walk down to all the fun. Uphill on the way home can be a little tough. It is on the same street as the Ryman Auditorium. You walk right by it

This hotel is exactly where you want to be for downtown action. We chose valet parking for convenience. Pricey at $30 put in and out privileges unlike the public parking across the street. Plus valets are very friendly and efficient. Used the shuttle to get to and from the Sounds baseball game. The driver (wish I had gotten his name) was so friendly and helpful, he's a gem for sure. I really wanted to like this hotel when in town for business. The people were wonderful and friendly. However, some basics slipped through the cracks. The Internet implementation is terrible and confusing. The room was not made up on several days (admittedly I had the privacy sign up for most of one of these). Lights didn't work and sliding doors didn't. They need better quality control.

It is a great location for seeing Nashville without a car, and the price was reasonable compared to surrounding downtown hotels. On the down side, our room was musty and not the cleanest room. Paint was peeling on the ceiling and we found random items (not ours) under the bed. Lots of dust on flat surfaces and the hard to reach parts of the carpet were in desperate need of vacuuming. I expected a much cleaner room giving the location and the price we paid. The only other thing that irked us was ... Read more

Normally I'm very happy with most hotels that I've stayed at in the Hilton group and dos expect to be equally happy with this stay, but unfortunately not. Loved the location and the easy check in process. On the negative side, the interconnecting door lock did not work. The folks in the adjoining room could have very easily gotten into our room. They sent up someone to fix it but it still did not meet our standards for a safe and secure room. The also neglected to include extra linens for the pull out bed. Another call to the front desk. Nice enough room, although they gave us an accessible room on a hotel that didn't seem very full. The bathroom was soaked after three people took showers. Walking distance to different parts of the city but parking was expensive and a nightmare. They do not tell you about the public lot until after you have used the valet. Stopped in for a quick stay in Nashville. As a Hilton award member staying at a Doubletree is second nature. Check in was great, food was pretty good and the room was nice and clean. The beds however need replacing in our room. HORRIBLE! I think the box springs were broken! Ruined my experience.

The people at the front desk were very kind and helpful. The location was also great, its only a few blocks away from Broadway which is where most of the nightlife is. However, the housekeeping was below par for a Hilton property. We were there for several nights and the first day the room was skipped over and we had to ask for service in the evening. The DoubleTree by Hilton is well situated, has very good breakfasts, a new patio area, live music in the lounge and helpful staff. Only three blocks from the Ryman, a couple more to Broadway, the Country Music Hall of Fame and more. The only negative was parking was valet only at $35/d.

Stayed for a weeks holiday in Nashville. Great location for downtown. Easily walk there in 10 mins or less. All the staff were very friendly. Music in the bar everynight which added to the atmosphere. Nice bar menu. Didnt have breakfast but it looked good. There is a starbucks in the building which seems to be used by the bank opposite and can get very busy. The rooms are okay, looking a little dated though, however not duty, just looked well used. There is no self parking. Valet is $35 a day ... Read more

Good location, walking distance to most things. Older hotel, but clean. Parking isn't free, kind of pricey; but you can come & go freely. Onsite restaurant/lounge food is decent. Fair variety for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Hello ! We stayed at Double Tree Downtown because we were in Nashville for a week attending all of the country music festivities! Honestly double tree was the perfect location. We walked EVERYWHERE. Even to Nissan stadium and back at night, it was brilliant! Double trees staff had EXCELLENT customer service from the moment we arrived till the moment we left. The Lobby has a Starbucks and frequent live music in the lounge which was incredible. They definitely catered to those attending the mus... Read more

I stopped at this property on a Sunday evening. It was easy to get to from I-24 as I drove through town. I was not impressed. You must use valets for parking on-site. Otherwise you will have to park in a public garage on another corner at $20 per night. The valets had some attitude when I asked about self-parking. The front-desk staff was nice when I checked-in. My room was nice except for the 2-inch gap under the door which gave an all night glow of light from the hallway. The bar on-site was n... Read more

My husband and I stayed for three nights on a recent trip. We particularly appreciated the nightly entertainment in the bar. The hotel features the great service and accommodations of a typical DoubleTree with a great location and reasonable prices.

So, on the plus side this hotel has a great location (you can easily walk to all the top spots in central Nashville) and really friendly accommodating staff - both at the door and on the reception. It's all the things you'd expect for a hilton - clean, well equipped room etc. Having said that, I feel that it is very expensive for what you get in real terms... The room is normal size - not especially large or impressive. You have to pay for breakfast (around $18 per person) and the valet is $35 a... Read more

Hotel is pretty good. For the price I would expect complimentary breakfast of some sort. The walk to Broadway was a little farther than expected, but not too bad. Probably won't stay here again due to the distance to the everything.

We booked the DoubleTree Hotel based on our past experiences at other DoubleTree hotels. The location was great, the service was great. The room I picked online , was a corner room and was not what I expected. I called the front desk and within minutes there was a knock on our door and Shallonda Betts, the Operations Manger came to see how she can make it right. Shallonda exceeded our expectations. With a timely accommodation change along with other unexpected surprises sent to our room, sh... Read more

We stayed for 3 nights at this location. We called & visited the front desk to get our room cleaned multiple times and it never happened. We spoke with cleaning attendants and told them we needed the room cleaned and it never happened. We ran out of toilet paper and towels multiple times and had to get them from other rooms of guests that we knew that were staying there. I am HHonors member and I chose this location and brand and had 3 other rooms booked along with my room and the service was ho... Read more

What a great place to stay in the heart of all the action in downtown Nashville. We walked to all our venues. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. After a long day or evening away from the hotel, it was always a welcome option to hang out in the bar/dining room for more great music and good food. The musicians were personable and engaging. The front desk personnel were also helpful in a few questions that we threw their way. What a great city. On Sunday we were at the top of the hill fo... Read more

So, we were in town for the CMA Awards and the location was pretty good, as were the variety of amenities (our kids used the indoor pool, there's a Starbucks on site, live music, fresh warm cookies at the front desk, valet parking, etc..), and the room was average. This evaluation was based on a direct comparison with the Hotel Indigo, which is about 100 yards away and is where my mom stayed while we were all there. Her room was much better than ours, it was new and vibrant with an interesting t... Read more

Centrally located, walkable to the many, many fun spots of Nashville, TN. Excellent consierge service makes picking the sites to see easy and complete. Spacious rooms make your stay very pleasurable. Entertainment nightly completes the "Nashville" feeling. Lovely outdoor spaces, including ping pong and oversized checkers and chess sets. Great bartenders who are very knowledgeable and quick to deliver!

The hotel is well located to central Nashville. The front entrance is a bit strange. We entered into what can best be described as a mid sized vestibule. We then had to get an elevator up to the main lobby, for which there was a line as the elevator was quite small. Instead we carried our bags up the flight of stairs, no big deal, but unusual that there was no one offering assistance, as is routine. We arrived early at 2 PM, so could not check in, so had to carry the bags back down to the entran... Read more

I was not sure what to expect with some of the reviews on here. We arrived on Saturday at 11am and understandably our room was not ready. They held our bags for us as we walked down (literally) to Broadway to watch some football. The hotel called me when our room was ready. Our room was very clean, the bed was a little bit too soft for me but my wife really liked it. ALL of the staff from valet to front desk and everyone else we ran into were very friendly. Rooms were dirty, service was mediocre, staff did not seem overly pleased to be there. Our toilet leaked and nobody came to look at it (pretty gross). At over $300 per night, I would expect great service and a room in good repair. And there's no excuse for a dirty room.

The hotel's location was ideal for downtown exploring on foot. We even walked to mid-town on Sunday afternoon. The only complaints we had were the hallways were VERY warm and there was trim falling off the door in our bathroom with a nail poking out. Also, the pillows were VERY soft so if you like firmer pillows...bring your own:)

Hotel is dated. Very hard to sleep because of the noise. Paper thin walls, toilets flushing and doors slamming all night long. I won't stay at this hotel again. Location is good relative to broadway but there are other better options.

Had a good stay, no real issues. A little expensive perhaps but we knew that before we booked. It's location is good and we were able to walk to all the places we needed to visit. Just once the room was not cleaned etc., whilst we were out but this was corrected quickly whilst we had a complimentary drink. Valet parking expensive but convenient.

This hotel is a great location but needs some refurbishing. I was upgraded to a honors level which was great. I selected digital key which has not failed at any other hotel so I proceeded straight to 6th floor with both hands full of luggage and suits. The digital key would not work. I had to call to have someone bring me a key. The room was huge and clean but the bathroom was tiny. The door hinges were rusted because of the small space and moisture from the shower. Hotel was in a great location and was clean. Service was great in the bar and at the front desk. Housekeeping was average but better on the weekend than during the week. As others have said we were charged for parking though we had no car. Although front desk fixed it quickly when we pointed it out. My only complaint is that we did not recieve our "little extras" on the last night our our stay. Easy check in with a delicious warm complimentary cookie. Coffee machine in room which has pods. Very nice. Rooms are spacious and clean. Bed and pillows comfy. Little noise. Few blocks from the action which was perfect for a daily walk and to be away from the noise. Staff were fantastic. One of the best rooms we have stayed in for our many travels and will most certainly be back. Dined here as well and food was pretty good.

This was a horrible stay. I have experienced poop on my toilet, been locked out of my room numerous times making me late for a business dinner, had horrible service at the restaurant one night with a drink that took 45 minutes to be made and contained no alcohol even though it was supposed to have alcohol. There was hair in my bath tub. I am standing in the hallway now unable to change clothes and late for dinner because your digital key does not work. I am furious!

Check in is cumbersome but once you are checked in everything is great. The hotel is clean and well kept, location is convenient to everything. If you can book a package with breakfast it is worthwhile. The only negative we experienced was that you could hear conversation in the room next to us, but at night everything was very quiet and we were able to sleep with no issues.
