Problems with the price of the room after it was paid for, since people working there couldn't agree. Not very clean. Junk on the carpets. Holes patched and not painted on walls. Terrible Wi-Fi. I'd definitely stay elsewhere.

Room was clean. Had hookup on TV for xbox so I could stream netflix. Only thing wrong with room was the bathroom door didn't shut correctly. It's old school charm. If your looking for anything upscale, this is not the place but if you're looking for a good rate for a night or two, this is a great deal. Take a minute to sign up for their "value card" on line. You get an instant membership card emailed to you and then you get 15% to 20% off all rooms. The guy at the front desk was nice, willing to... Read more

Thought I'd take a chance, didn't expect much because of the price. Location was good for me, close to downtown, my destination. How bad could it be? Well, it turned out to be worth three times the cost. Clean, newly installed updates, clean, friendly, helpful staff, clean, continental breakfast, great coffee, and only $90.00. I'll be going back to Nashville and I wouldn't stay anyplace else.

Super clean, quiet, staff is friendly, welcoming and diligent. For the price....this hotel is worth every penny. Check the prices of hotels within a 5 mile radius as well as the environment at that hotel and you will quickly see there is no comparison. I have stayed here 4 or 5 times. The manager remembers my name and each staff member is genuinely interested in meeting the needs of each customer. This is the cleanest, budget friendly hotel I have ever stayed in. I have not experienced any shady... Read more

Found this motel in book of Tennessee motel coupons and was suppose to be close to downtown. Turns out its several miles from the Museums I want to see and right under landing flight path. Is close to a couple fast food restaurants, Mexican restaurant and a Hooters.

Made reservations in April for a few days for may, called today to confirm and they can't find it in the computer. What good does a confirmation number do me then? Now i will have to look for something else. Not happy

The room was a standard motel room. It was functional for our stay. The surrounding businesses have the feel of a lower income area. The stair ways had VERY uneven/dangerous spacing and steps. We think the room we were in was one of the updated rooms. Friendly staff. She made a mistake in the pricing, but she caught it right away, and refunded the difference before I even knew it. Very outside the city of Nashville!

Smells, inn in disrepair, breakfast is sad--one day oj coming out of dispenser watery, next day it was the apple juice that was watery. Very noisy with thin walls. Request top floor if you don't want to listen to the elephants walking above you. We could hear just about every toilet at our end of the hall each time it was flushed!

Even at $70 I feel like I overpaid! No bugs or critters in the room but the negatives were greater than positives. The hotel is in the jet landing path of the Nashville airport so going to sleep was I bit rough! Shower was hot or cold and the shower head was at about 5 feet up! Didn't feel like the safest place to stay either. Dark parking lot and people hanging out on the balconies like they live their! The Air conditioning worked great though!

It is safe and clean. But as the titles says: This is a hotel behind a Hooters. Don't get too impressed. It is right next to the interstate with quick access to downtown. The staff were accommodating and the room was, a room. No frills, nothing impressive. But it is a great deal at the cost point.

The rooms are tiny and nothing like some of the pictures that I had saw. The shower was also very small it's a good thing neither of us were super tall. I had to duck a little to wash my hair. The shower also leaked all over the small bathroom so the floor was always wet. It was fairly clean but the hair dryer was very dirty and gross (I'm glad I brought my own) and the blankets had some stains (again thankfully I brought my own). It had an interesting smell and we were slightly nervous ab... Read more

We were driving through on the way to Orlando. We wanted a place to stay just past Nashville so we didn't have to deal with traffic in the morning. There is a Jack in the Box right by it, always a perk to me. :) We had a clean room and it was a safe area. It was not fancy, but it worked. Breakfast was fine. Standard. We went to the Jack Daniels distillery after this. It's about an hour and 15 minutes away. When we were there the hotel called and let us know that we had left m... Read more

Disgusting! This place is a dump! Cost too much for what it is! Very sketchy part of town. It's right on the interstate & it sounds like the cars are going to drive through your room! If you're desperate for a place to stay, still look elsewhere!

We just stayed one night to spend a day in Nashville before we went back to Florida and actually got in town about two hours before check in and Andy at the desk was very helpful and got us a room right away. The area looks a little rough but the room was clean and nice.

I reserved this hotel for a large group of youth. We went in with a little skepticism due to other peoples odd reviews but were pleasantly surprised! They were very accommodating for our group and placed us in all the newly renovated rooms which were NICE! The manager of the hotel also manages a subway up the road and was able to easily get us arrangements for an easy dinner. The rooms were very clean but the rooms that haven't been renovated yet were starting to see age...but in no way were the... Read more

Ok, I was visiting from Australia in June 2016, I signed up for the ABVI value program (free) and picked this because it was close to getting into downtown Nashville. I stayed a full week Mon - Mon and found it fine. There are some negative review about this Motel, maybe they did have a bad experience, but I found it fine. The room was fine, everything I needed, comfy chair, TV, fridge, WiFi and Andy (the Manager) and his team were helpful with any questions. There are some comments about th... Read more

The room was clean but a tad small for a king room. The staff was excellent even tho they were new. I was a little nervous once we checked in because the neighborhood was a little too close to the freeway but everything worked out in the end. We were on the back pay off the hotel and it was perfect for the dogs. Nice grass nearby. This hotel was extremely accommodating with pets which factored into our selection. When we checked out, the manager inquired about our stay and we said everyt... Read more

Not the best area of Nashville. But hotel felt safe. Old hotel but family running it now are updating the rooms. Was very quiet and extra clean I will stay again. First long stay that provides breakfast. Stay in back side helps with highway sounds.

Perhaps it was my mistake in bothering to book a cheap motel in advance, but I felt a bit cheated paying $95 for a room like this. (Two double beds, first floor.) Even $60 would have been a stretch, in my opinion. The folks working the front desk were not particularly polite on the phone when I called to enquire about check-in times and minimally polite upon arrival. The giant shipping container/crates in the parking lot really set off the ambiance. Add to that the shirtless men looming on balc... Read more

Sketchy part of town, Uncomfortable bed, some fast food around which was good because "breakfast" was powdered donuts and cereal in a place with two or three tables. Able to park right in front of room and check in and out quickly. This was not a comfy place for a road weary couple. I'm surprised the ratings are so high to be honest. If you just need a place to crash and don't care about comfort go for it... But I would rather spend another thirty bucks.

We got a non-smoking room and when we walked in it smelled like cigarettes. The front office apologized but claimed that they did not have any other open non-smoking rooms. There was a large iron burn in the carpet. The outside of the hotel is not well kept. This is also in an area of Nashville that did not seem safe at all. I would never stay in this hotel again.

Do NOT waste your money! As a traveler, this was the absolute worst roach infested motel ever!! Rude staff at check in, we should have walked out but needed to sleep. The room had cockroaches and when we tried to address it with the front desk, they would not do anything about it. We ended up leaving, never even unpacked or slept! We wrote a letter to corporate and the roach motel responded they had done some bug control and there were no issues. They would not refund our money even tho... Read more

Our stay at Americas Best Value Inn was a good value. The rate we were able to get was decent and the staff was very nice and accommodating. The area was a bit sketchy and a little far from where we visiting, so we ended up shortening our stay, but trying to change our reservation was a disaster, through no fault of the staff. We had booked our stay through, and the issue was on their end, not ABVI. I was recommend coming here if you aren't looking to spend a fortune on a hotel bu... Read more

This particular ABVI has become my 'go-to' hotel when staying in Nashville. The beds are comfortable and clean, the rooms are clean, the shower is hot... and honestly, you're staying in Nashville. There's so much to do, you're not spending very much time in your room. It gets the job done. I was able to sleep soundly (though I think I did wake up once to an airplane, but that was in the morning when I was about due to wake up anyway). I'm going to be back in town next week and guess where I'm ... Read more

This place was very clean. There is a funny smell in the area but It was gone by morning. I didn't see any activity in the area that made me feel unsafe. We were charged more than trip advisor quoted when I booked, so that is the 3 star rating. There is not a lot going on with breakfast but it's free. It's great for a quick over night.

I choose this "Inn because of the name "Americas Best Value" I have stayed at several of these hotels throught out the united states! HOWEVER, this one was disgusting! I walked into the lobby to check in and the smell of mold and mildew was over-powering! My room wasn't ready so I asked if I could see another room, afraid of what I might find! Of course they did not have one available to look at even though check in was in 20 minutes. There was a very skechy man out by the rooms while we w... Read more

Man I am not so exigent about hotels but this one is terrible. I had a really bad night there. Room smells bad, neighborhood is really scary, I did not feel safe at all there. I woke up at 5am to leave and there was some strange individuals coming in and out whole freaking night.
