This Holiday Inn is a relatively new property in an area that has recently sprouted several new hotels as well as plentiful restaurants and an outlet mall. The hotel is well-kept and clean; however, the staff could use some additional training. There was a significant delay in check-in because the desk clerk could not take a phone reservation and check me in at the same time without back-up. Additionally, he was not completely sure of what types of rooms and suites the hotel even offered. Th... Read more

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at Holiday Inn by The Avenue in the past 3 weeks. We've been traveling to Murfreesboro for business and relocation. This trip we took two of our girls. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are very nice, clean, updated and comfy. The restaurant has great food and if you charge your room for breakfast (not room service, eat IN the restaurant), you get a discount. Pool is nice and the girls LOVED swimming the night away. The front desk offers S'more... Read more

I really want to slam this motel for being expensive, but I suppose that you can find out the price and judge for yourself. Off peak is probably cheaper too. I paid $130 plus $10 for the state and $5 each for city and county. And what irritates me is you don't get free breakfast with that. And they don't have an inside pool. But it is new and clean with a big lobby and medium sized rooms and micro and fridge. It has thermostat on the wall heat and air and the fan runs constant which is bet... Read more

Basically just in the area for business for two weeks. The hotel is very modern and clean. Rooms are large and comfortable. What I like most is when I come back from work I can have a few beers by the propane fire pit. The sun is no longer hitting that area so it is very comfortable during the summer. The restaurant on site is decent just not very timely with orders, but the location is within 2 miles of plenty of restaurants. The pool is nothing to write home about, but a decent size. Th... Great new Holiday Inn. I've never stayed at a bad Holiday Inn...Have you? Big spacious, elegant new room. Friendly staff that let us check in early! Swanky bar as soon as you enter the lobby on your right.

We bought the tickets online with breakfast included and ended up finding out breakfast was not included. $1299 for the buffet with cold eggs and no oatmeal very small selection of bread basically white toast. Beds were decent and there were clean good soft pillows! Coffee was terrible.

Very nice, new, & clean Holiday Inn! Stayed at it multiple times. Definitely one of the best hotels in Murfreesboro. Staff is very friendly & helpful! Only downside to this Holiday Inn, is that it does not have free breakfast. There is a restaurant attached to hotel & plenty of good restaurants nearby.

Easy on/off the Interstate. First, we appreciated the prompt and courteous way we were treated and checked in upon arrival. Our room met our expectations as far as bedding, cleanliness, and size. Bathroom was immaculate. New hotel that just smelled fresh when we walked in. Stayed a couple of days as we were visiting family in the area. Room service our last night as my son enjoys a late night bowl of ice cream. Unfortunately he became quite ill around 12:30 am. I will spare the details. ... Read more

I am a Spire member and have already qualified for 2017 so I say this from experience. My room was dirty! The bar restaurant was laid out awkward. The restaurant service was terrible! The bar prices were ridiculous. They charge top dollar for this place and it was no better than a red roof inn. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!

I have stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks now for work and have had a great experience. Kristin at the front desk has been awesome with restaurant recommendations and a great smile to greet us at the end of each day. Angela has taken fabulous care of us in the Blue Note Whiskey Bar each evening as we unwind. She keeps our popcorn filled and keeps us comfortable with excellent service and a friendly smile.

Nice facility, good value but rooms are very small for family of 4. Our room smelled moldy on arrival but after we turned down the a/c it got better. The pool is nice but there was only one umbrella for shade an since it is on the southwest side of the building, very hot and sunny with no place to cool off. They should put more umbrellas of build a canopy.

We were in town for a family event. The location is right off I24 at Medical Center Parkway. The decor is nice and the lobby was decorated for the holiday and smelled of fresh flowers. The front desk staff was kind and quickly checked us in. The only drawback was no IHG points for booking through Hotwire.com. The only issue was only 1 bath towels for two people, I called Housekeeping but never received an answer. I informed the front desk during checkout, she apologized.

While traveling I prefer to stay at a Holiday Inn because it consistently will be comfortable. However, this location was very disappointing. Sleeping on the floor would have been more comfortable than the bed. The pillow designated as "soft" was anything but soft, but so were the pillows designated as firm. The bottom sheet had a large rip in it. On the plus side, the room and facility was new and very clean. Location was right off the interstate and close to a large shopping center and restaur... Everyone was friendly and helpful. A nice feature was the smore package. You could buy a smore bag for 4$. Had Gram crackers, chocolate, marshmallows, sticks to roast the marshmallows. Outside in the back there was a fire pit. It was fun and a nice treat for our kids. Only reason giving 4 rating, was the breakfast wasn't free.

We were Moving across the country and wanted a safe, clean place to stay. This place didn't disappoint! The staff was extremely polite and professional. The hotel is maintained nicely and our room was spotless. It was such a fantastic spot to rest after another long day on the road with 3 kids. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

We spent two nights at the Holiday Inn. It's a nice, comfortable hotel. It's right off the interstate, so super easy to find and convenient. It's located in a nice, newer area, with restaurants and shopping close by. The service was good and everyone was friendly. Our room was very clean with no issues. We didn't try the restaurant, so I can't speak for that. We were happy and will look forward to staying again.

My family pre-planned our stop here on our trip home from Orlando. After a long day of travelling, the guy at the front desk was not pleasant at all. I said I have a reservation and rather than greet me, he quickly says, "license and credit card". I had to have him repeat it as I was stunned he didn't greet me. The whole check in experience was one of the most unfriendly I've ever experienced. Additionally, the bartender was not good, drink prices extremely high for a bar in a hotel in Murf... Read more

As we approached the Holiday Inn in Murfreesboro for a 4 night stay, we were pleasantly surprised to see that it is a relatively new facility in an area of town that is currently being developed. The exterior was clean and the landscaping was very neat. As we entered the hotel we were warmly greeted and check-in was quick. Our room was clean and well appointed except for a few dirty finger smudges in the bathroom next to the towels. The room we chose had two queen beds that filled up the roo... Read more

We stopped here while traveling. We always stay at Holiday Inn and affiliated hotels. We saw this hotel online as we were traveling and needed a stop-over, 1 night stay. It will officially be the "stop over" hotel when we travel. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The hotel is 1 year old and beautiful. Rooms were very clean and beds were so comfortable. We also love the attached and independently owned Blue Note Whiskey Bar and Restaurant. The manager, Ken, is accommodating and very ... Read more

Awesome hotel. Super nice and friendly front desk staff. I had one little issue with a door lock, and rather than bring it to someone's attention, I chose a playful FB post. The manager James called me the next morning. He never mentioned FB, just that he was aware that I had problem with my door and that maintenance was working on it. James later left a comment on my post to let me know the lock had been fixed. He left behind several free drink coupons and even added a little humor to fb. ... Read more

Business trip . Check-in\in quick, courteous service. Room was large and spacious. The whole place was clean, quiet and relaxing after a long drive and more so after a long day of work stuff. The in room coffee was hands down the best I have found in all my years of travel. Made me want to come back for a family trip. Went to Stone Mountain Park for a quiet walk after a long day. We stayed here on our way home to florida. I chose this hotel because the Restaruant and bar were on premis. The room was exceptionaly nice and clean! We visited the bar for a few beers before we ordered dinner to bring up to our room. When we asked for a second beer the bartender advised us that she did not have anymore Coors Light so we had to swich beers. I was kinda disapointed as it was a Saturday, the bar was not busy and they were out of Coors Light, a popular beer. So we then receive... Read more

Stayed here for a week of business training. Hotel is newer and quite nice. Rooms are appointed well with a fridge, microwave, and a Keurig. Bed was a bit hard for my taste. Shower was very large (walk-in) which was nice, but the water pressure was so high that it felt like needles! Not a bad stay, but not the best I've ever had for sure. The biggest negative is the width of the parking spaces (especially in the front). I saw time after time people parking large trucks leaving no room for... Read more

Resturant food was average, but the wait staff was extremely nice and attentive. Reception area was very clean and staff very nice.
