A quality hotel. They have upgraded a few features and are scheduled for a renovation at the end of the year. The firnature is of an older for poster bed style so I presume the renovation will include new furnature.

Walking into the front lobby, and experiencing a well-lit, spacious, clean lobby-area impressed me with an experience that I was getting more-than-my-money's-worth. From the Front-Desk staff to the House-Cleaning staff, everyone was polite, friendly, and helpful - a true and traditional, southern hospitality experience!

I booked this hotel based on price. I'm retired military and I booked the room under government like I've done for years only to be told I could not have the agreed upon rate unless I was on orders. I've stayed at hundreds of hotels with a government/military rate and this was the first time I was told I can't stay at that rate. I travel so much I'm a Hilton Diamond member. This will be the last time I stay here. I could have stayed closer to I-81, but chose to stay at this hotel because of t... Read more

We stopped for three days to rest before continuing a 2 week road trip. Very impressed with everything at this hotel. We got our requested room with E check in and it was ideal. Right across from laundry and steps from the pool. Hotel is clean and upscale with huge rooms and bath with high ceilings. Breakfast was good and there was 24 hr coffee in the lobby. Unique staff in that they're not just courteous but they make you feel welcome. Definitely stay here.

I stayed in the Hampton Inn in Morristown in late May, 2016, and found it to be pleasant and convenient. The room was spacious and well appointed with charging stations and plenty of lights. I find Hampton Inns to be of consistently good quality. My only disappointment was the breakfast, which featured an unappealing Tex-Mex buritto concoction instead of the sausage, cottage fires and eggs to which I was looking forward. I still miss the biscuits and gravy.

Had trouble sleeping because of noisy refrigerator in room. Mattress was on soft side for me. Hotel was close to restaurants. Rest of the experience at the hotel was very good, but the refrigerator was a real problem.

The Hampton inn at Morristown was great! Inside it looked like no Hampton I have ever seen with a large lobby, fireplace, and a hall of mirrors. It was a quiet restful stay and staff were very helpful. Stayed here in between national parks visits from NC to Cumberland Gap. The town seems to have seen better days but the Hampton is great.

So I wanted to let them know that I totally appreciate them because it made our stay that much more enjoyable. The breakfast was good as well, different from when we staye... Read more

My daughter and I was on the way to the NHRA at Bristol last weekend. I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel was very clean and lobby was very nice. As with Hampton inns the free breakfast was hot and nice. The room was large and very nice. They may be off the interstate but the drive is easy and worth the drive. I believe it was 8 miles off the interstate.

Location was convenient to local Walmart, eating, and the ball fields. Very friendly front desk. Checked in with Jesse. He was very helpful. The room was comfortable and very clean. Hotel was very clean overall. Only complaint would be the size of the beds. Would have been nice to have queen size instead of double bed for my husband and myself to sleep in. If traveling without children, definitely ask for King size. Would stay again if in the area.

Appears to be new or recently remodeled and clean. Pool was in good shape although the view of the nearby house and road did detract slightly. Free breakfast was exactly like breakfasts at every other surprises Restaurant choices nearby plus several chain restaurants.

The restaurant was nice and clean. The beds were especially comfortable. I liked the all day coffee and tea bar with free cookies and snacks with free breakfast. The staff was very nice and gave good service. They also allowed us to use the handicapped parking due to my wife's leg injury even though we didn't have a placard.

We absolutely enjoyed staying at this hotel. We were in Morristown for our 2016 Family Reunion and this rather upscale Hampton Inn served as a great home away from home. Centrally located, it was really beautiful; the lobby was magnificent and immaculate. The rooms were spacious, clean and fresh. The staff was very attentive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

I didn't stay here as our trip plans changed and we ended up staying at a hotel in Asheville, NC. I cancelled this reservation when during the no-penalty time frame. Was extremely disappointed to check my credit card statement today and note that five days after my original arrival date, the Morristown Hampton Inn charged my credit card anyway. I'm working with corporate Hampton Inn customer service but it will still be days before I get a credit. Annoying to say the least. I had a cancellation ... Read more

There are not many choices in Morristown for a decent hotel stay and it is usually a good bet that a Hampton will provide a good experience for the business traveler. The staff at this hotel is very good and very accomodating. The only issue I had with this Hampton was the wireless service, if you have a room at the end of the hall you don't get wireless and if you are close to the router the connection speed is so bad you can't stream video.

We chose this hotel as our first night stay while driving cross country. The room was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby was inviting. They served a complimentary breakfast, but I cannot comment on the food as we are vegans and did not eat any of the food other than toasting our own bread. The only "con" was that we didn't realize it was 10 miles from the highway which was important to us as we had a timeframe for driving cross country. However, it was just about 10-15 mi... Read more

Candidly, I waited til really late to arrive because based on the photos, it looked like an outdated Hampton Inn. I've grown accustomed to the new modern ones. I wish I had arrived earlier, honestly. My family had about 35 rooms blocked and reserved for a wedding party. Although the hotel itself was nice enough for the most part, the service was poor. The front desk staff treated us like we were inconveniences and interruptions, rather than guests. They had switched the rooms we reserved for the bridal party to get ready in and a room for hospitality and snacks, and told us they had no tables for us to use. When the housekeeping staff found tables for us, we had to set them up ourselves.... Read more
