Not what I expected. Older hotel, clean but needs lots of updates. We stayed here because it was walking distance to Graceland. Priced too high for the age of hotel. Would not recommend.

Hotel is older so it has rooms facing outdoor walkways with stairs, no elevators. Room was adequate for an overnight stay.

Hotel is older, but we truly enjoyed the hotel. Easy walk for the Graceland tour. i truly will stay here again. Also recommended local places to eat around town. You could be pucked up in a pink Cadillac to go to the restaurant.

We had requested a non-smoking room, when we arrived, we couldn't tell if it had a smoke smell or very musty. There was hair in the tub and on the sink, we cleaned them with Clorox wipes that we brought with us. The TV tuner was very confusing and I asked the front desk about it and she explained how to use it. It worked for about 2 hours and then the TV would shut off on it's own after about 1 minute. Finally gave up on it. The breakfast was good. We only stayed one night as a stop over, ... Read more

I'm so disappointed on pricing charge in changing locations from one Days Inn location in Memphis to this Days Inn location in Memphis. I originally booked the hotel online with one rate. When arriving in Memphis, I called to switch locations and was not informed of any pricing change/upcharge. The price I booked is not the price I paid at the front desk of the other location. It was nearly double. Additionally, the folded eggs with cheese for breakfast was not good at all. All other break... Read more

Amazing to see where the King lived and how he lived. However I was given an iPad to also use during tour. I felt this was cumbersome and I felt I had missed most of the tour. As I paid VIP I went back and did not use the iPad and felt as though I seen a lot more.

Very old hotel, dated rooms could do with a complete refurbishing from top to bottom. Bedroom seem clean but everything looks very dated. Stains in bathroom, not very inviting. However spacious rooms and professional and friendly staff. Very convenient for Graceland that's about it.

The hotel was dated but friendly staff and good value for what you got. We spent five nights here. We spent two nights at the Heartbreak Hotel and paid double the nightly rate and the Days Inn actually had more of an 'Elvis experience factor' as well as a larger pool.

Pros: 1 1/2 blocks from Graceland, you can walk there. Fabulous Elvis decor and memorabilia, the guitar-shaped pool was fantastic. You can hitch a ride to Marlowe's Ribs in their pink limo, which is fabulous food! The woman at the front desk was super nice and full of information. Cons: No hot water in shower, room smelled of mold and smoke, wished their was another layer of curtains to block out for privacy. All in all a very good price for an ok motel that is so close to Graceland!!!

Our stay here was comfortable. Negatives--Walls are thin with many small children and pets evident, so if you have a white noise machine, bring it. "Free wifi" was either not functioning or else completely overtaxed. Whatever the case, it didn't work. Our room was pretty shabby; several places needed repair or upgrading. Made reservations because of location to Graceland. Lots of restaurants and place to buy food and beverages nearby. Easy on and off from expressway. Front desk clerk was a delight! Guitar shaped pool was so relaxing after spending the day visiting Elvis. Would have given an excellent rating except for the breakfast. Prepackaged everything including folded omelets. Fruit was not fresh and syrup bottles were reused. Oatmeal was great and filled my tummy for long drive home.

We stayed for one night so we could visit Graceland. The hotel is clean and comfortable and pretty quiet. The pool area is nice with the guitar shaped pool and the Elvis music. So convenient to the airport and not too far from downtown Memphis. Not a luxury hotel but adequate to stay for a night or two. The breakfast room was clean and had a decent small breakfast. Only complaint is that the staff are not too friendly or welcoming. No one was forthcoming with dinner suggestion or with smiles.

The hotel is walking distance to Graceland and a 10 minute drive to downtown and Beale Street. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. Lots of Elvis memorabilia is displayed in the lobby and the pool is guitar-shaped. Only problem I had was that due to connectivity problems, they could not accept my credit card & we had to use my friend's card. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We booked this hotel mainly due to the reviews found on various websites. The room was clean and sufficient. The staff were friendly. It was within walking distance of Graceland and its museums and just a short drive to downtown Memphis and several restaurants. My daughter and I enjoyed the pool and the Elvis XM radio that plays there. The pool was clean with lots of relaxing seating areas both shaded and in the sun. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

Amazing location, obviously Elvis themed! Pool was lovely and guitar shaped. Room clean and reasonably spacious. Enough parking. Room dated, but clean. Ours had a musty smell to it. Beds very comfy, hotel provide breakfast which was ok. Graceland over the road, local bar with real good impersonated of elvis, cracking big meals there too. (Rock n roll cafe). Not advisable to walk to far on an evening, stay round pool or local cafe/bar. While we were there four cars got broken into during the night.

If you are in Memphis to see Graceland, it doesn't get more convenient than this. The hotel is very in character for the area, with lots of Elvis memorabilia and a cute guitar pool. The rooms are pretty much what you pay for in a budget price motel. If you are looking for upscale this is not it. The house is smaller than expectations. It is quite expensive to visit $30 each for a downstairs tour. It is a pity the upper floors are unavailable to view. The house is 70s style and very quirky but the exhibitions of Elvis Presley's life and music are amazing. House tour takes around 1/2 hour. The gardens and ranch area are very evocative of the era. The good thing about this place is that it is practically in Graceland. Went to sleep thinking that Elvis was buried about 300 yards away. Wow! Unfortunately this was the only good thing about this hotel. It looks a lot better on the travel sites, than it actually is. The pool is smaller than it looks and is filthy! Needs to be drained and scrubbed down. The rooms are very outdated and smell like pinesol. The whole place smells like cleaning fluid and insecticide, but the rooms aren't clean... Read more

The Good: Close to Graceland, Breakfast Ok The Bad: Room smells like it was sprayed with Raid. No internet connection for the 2 days we were there. Bathtub drains slow and air conditioner load. The Ugly: Rooms need to be updated. Carpet looks like it is 100 years old. Pool didn't look very clean on the bottom. In closing this place could be Disgraceland.

We stayed here because of proximity to Graceland. When we walked into our room the tv was blasting. Apparently the cleaning staff doesn't know to close bathroom door and sweep and mop because it's filthy when you close the door. Garbage is picked up at 4am Tuesday morning and they take their time. Breakfast was dismissal. Glad we have snacks inn the car.

What you need, is all there, all on Elvis Presley Blvd. There is food, convient store etc. I have a family there (we got so close with the staff and I have 2 sisters, mama, and a papa.

The hotel is absolutely Wonderful. The front desk was friendly, informative and helpful. The lobby is absolutely stunning with all the Elvis decor in the breakfast area. The rooms have great pillows, big soft bed and the décor is all Elvis. It's very clean, and comfortable. The pool is very neat shaped like a guitar. I strongly recommend this Hotel. The price is great!

Did have a mishap where one of our group had got locked into their room then the attendant got in and also got locked in the room. A bit of confusion till the owner was reached and came over.

Short walk to Graceland, which was our main purpose of visiting Memphis. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean, beds comfortable. Definitely dated- peeling paint in the bathroom, but shower worked well. Towels on the thin side. The room had an odor (maybe bleach?)which hit you when you opened the door.

From here you can reach Graceland in a couple of minutes walking. It's a decent chain Hotel with a lot of pictures and memorabilia of Elvis. They also show Elvis movies on TV and during the day you can listen to Elvis radio while sunbathing at the guitar-shaped pool. It can get crowded at breakfast during peak time (8-9 am). Overall it's a nice Hotel close to Graceland.

Stayed 1 night, October 11th. Room was filthy dirty, found previous patrons clothes behind dresser full of dust so have been there for a very long time. Coffee pot in room was so dirty it was disgusting. Woke up to find the walls crawling with bugs. Reported it to front desk and have never heard a thing from management. Most of the staff, other than the front desk, did not speak english and when asked a question didnt even try to get help, just walked away.

This budget hotel was within 3-5 min. walk to Graceland! Just park your car at the hotel and walk to Graceland to spend a very fun and rewarding day. The hotel itself is very clean with a good morning breakfast and fun Elvis-inspired lobby. It's a 3-star hotel with great service (batteries in remote were low and front desk person immediately came with new batteries) and only added to a great Graceland experience.

I was on a family trip and wanted a place to stay that the kids could enjoy. The pool was the selling point for me. Once we pulled in the place seemed extremely outdated. There was a mattress next to the dumpster and the building looked dingy. I figured it was only going to be for the night so we went ahead and checked in. The staff was very friendly so I started to feel more comfortable about the stay. We went to the room and as soon as I opened the door I warned the kids not to put there bags ... Read more

My wife and I stayed at the Days Inn Memphis at Graceland for 2 days in October 2016. The only positive comments I can make are, it's very close to Graceland, and it's relatively inexpensive. Aside from that everything else we experienced was negative. We didn't realize until the morning of the 2nd day that our room had bedbugs. I killed 2 of them and brought them to the front desk. Got to our room after long drive, noticed bathroom had soap (with suspicious hair) & old shampoo bottle on handle on tub from previous guest. After 1st nite, had to go to front desk for shampoo as housekeeper threw OUR old shampoo bottle out, but didn't leave new. Have stayed here 2 times before & thought this was an 'ok' place. The location of the hotel was great. I am not sure if we had an older room, but it was subpar at best. I tend to be very open minded about hotel stays, you are only there for a very brief time.
