We didn't stay there. After looking at the room we came down to check in and there were two other couples wanting there money back. Dont know if a it is worth a can of gas and a match to burn it to the ground and start over.

I had low expectations going into my stay. Was just looking for an inexpensive place to stay during the Beale Street Music Festival. But this place was a good find and a great value. The rooms were clean and more modern than I expected. Everyone who worked there was great...very friendly. The $3 shuttle that they offer was key. They drove us to Beale Street, the music festival and a few other places. Because of the hotel being located next to the highway it is tough to walk anywhere. But it is... Read more

Loved the location and the shuttle. Would have given a higher rating if the housekeeper had not ignored my "Do Not Disturb" sign and made off with all of my towels without replacing them!

The hotel staff was friendly and very accommodating. I had first chosen online a smoking room b/c it was the only King Room left. When we opened the door to it, the smoke smell was so drop-me-to-the-floor disgusting that I had to leave right away. The lady at the front desk apologized and offered me their last non-smoking double queen room right away. Thank you lady! This room was definitely better. It smelled great, it was clean, and it was on a corner, which means it was quieter. The hotel is ... Read more

The only way we got true satisfaction was a discount on the room due to poor quality. The bathroom door had a hoke punched in it, the lamp shade a rip in it, the carpet was unsanitary due to old pet hair stuck on the carpet, the sheets on my bed had a stain, the beds were not made well. The fridge has caked up ice which means it had not been cleaned properly and the rails inside were rusted, the microwave had no glass plate, just the turntable ring inside, the tv was missing the power button and... Didn't like Memphis at all, this hotel was ok. Rooms were clean and the exterior was good. Free parking and free internet... free breakfast was ok. I would suggest paying a little bit more for a better quality stay, we were here for only two nights but if we had intended to stay any longer I would have preferred a better hotel. We wont return to Memphis. Found Beale St to be seedy

Room was clean, very close to Downtown but not walking distance, shuttles run till midnight to Beale St. and back. Shuttle to Airport. Slept through breakfast, served till 9am. For the price of convenience, cleanliness, and staff, it served us well.

While it wasn't the best hotel we had been at, it most certainly wasn't the worst (especially for staying one night). The room was pretty big when we walked in which we were quite surprised at. The room was a little old, especially the bathtub. There was a cigarette burn in one of the sheets too. Our door's deadbolt was misaligned so it didn't lock properly, but we made it work. The biggest complaint I have is about breakfast. I understand that it's a perk and you don't have to offer it, but if... Read more

The room# 211 was decent for a budget hotel I was impressed. we had a Jacuzzi and it wasn't bad the bed was comfortable the air was cold, the room was clean!! The cable would go off during the day and would come back on around 8:00. this was weird but we weren't in the rooms during day anyway. They did give us 10% off the rate for the t.v. The parking is very limited. It definitely was not the worst place I've stayed at. Housekeeping kept the room tidy.

Hotel not bad for a budget motel, a little out the way from Beale street where all the nightlife was but then quiet at night. Hotel shuttle was good nice guy (Sumit) not sure about the spelling. Does lack a bit of floor mopping in areas but rooms were of a clean nature. Don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed. As I said budget. Wifi in rooms excellent.

Overnight stay, girls trip. Parking is horrible. They are updating the hotel but it is not with the price of the rooms. The bath tub was old and not clean. The appearance of the hotel exterior is old and run down looking. The only good thing is that is is only about 5 minutes from Beale St, but the location of it does not allow you to walk there like we had planned

This hotel is in a run down part of town; the hotel is run down. There are train tracks nearby which was never mentioned and the trains ran through the night. Not To mentions there were no towels in the room and the room phone rang several times during the night with no one on the other end.

It's an old motel, in a bad area. The elevator kept breaking down. The parking is terrible. Definitely would NOT recommend staying there. I picked it cause it was the cheapest on my app but I will definitely do more research before booking another stay.

The parking lot is poorly marked. So the cars parked over the lines. Loss of ten spaces at least. The door card would not work so was let in by a key. Promised to be right back with a batter for the lock. Over an hour latter and 3 trips that was taken care of. Ice machine on third and fourth floors did not work. On the fifth floor I was able to be some ice. The in room coffee machine did not have coffee. The room had dirty hand towels that had not been taken out. The breakfast was not one of the... Read more

Derelict, horrible area. I was waiting to see the chalk body outline on the room floor. Never to book there again! Cheap and definitely get what you pay for. Broken lock on the door, heater hanging off the wall, dirty bathroom. Staff unhelpful and did not seem to bother with any issues we had. Horrible experience.

Visited Graceland and Beale street in Memphis. Stayed at super 8 downtown. The location is convenient but the rooms are not clean and are small and crowded. Breakfast is decent with hot and cold choices. The staff is very helpful and has a shuttle to and from important places. Would not choose this place again.

I can't say I had a terrible experience but the overall experience wasn't great. The exit off the interstate was tricky to navigate while playing chicken with big rigs. The staff was great, pool looked awesome, we missed breakfast and we did not sleep well thanks to the noctornal residents being out on the balcony. For the price, I can't say I'd like to go back.

We stayed here bc it was the closest to Beale St for the price. I paid 80$ & it was worth it. So much better than 150-200$ somewhere else. We took uber to Beale St and it was 6$ so everything was great. The hotel is outdated ... Breakfast area is small but there were gravy biscuits & a waffle maker. The pool was clean and nice. The room was decent. Flat screen tv. Comfy bed. Extremely thin sheet & comforter.

Rented this room over the phone, needing a dog friendly room and seeing pictures of the rooms. Got there near 11pm. Was given an occupied room, thank god the woman we woke, attempting to get into our room, was nice and didn't carry a gun. Got a new room, which was ok... Had some dead lady bugs on the floor and had to clean the sticky off the bathroom/changing room floor, but for that time of night, and as busy as the hotel was, I looked past that. Scary neighborhood. Trains rain next to hotel every hour. They were loud. Poor parking. Parked across street. Worried all night about our car as there was a vehicle window on ground in parking lot.

The room was clean, the beds comfy. It was tricky to get to off the interstate, you have to make sure you are really paying attention. If you are not used to hearing trains while you sleep (I am not) and are a light sleeper (I am) then this would not be the place for you. Otherwise it was quiet and a decent stay for just staying for some rest on our way to our vacation spot.

Stay was nice... Food was good...room was clean. I always stay here when I come to Memphis. The only problem was the shuttle service can get a little pricey but the ppl are very nice. Also the parking could be better as far as spaces they do have another lot but could use more lighting and or security. Pool is never operational. We stayed 4 days during the Memphis in may music festival.

When I checked in and got my room key (Room 312) I was horrified. This was my first time ever staying in a Super 8. I was just passing through because my trip from Chicago to New Orleans was too long for me to drive in one day. The room was old, out if date, moldy, there were visible stains on the comforter. Black stains on the ceiling and I won't even mention the bath room. Thanks to Michelle at the front desk she gave me another room on ground level that was in a better state than what was ori... If the outside appearance doesn't scare you enough, the inside will make your stomach turn. Staff is super nice but the rooms smell like cat litter, can't swim without getting hair on you, and the cigarette burns in the bedding will send you running! Free breakfast isn't worth the stay!

It has clean sheets and clean room. Good value for the money with outdoor pool, gym, breakfast and very friendly staff. The Wifi in my room was weak but it worked in the lobby. We had a room in the corner with a peekaboo view of the Mississippi. There is a vegetable plot by the motel and there is a residence on the top floor which I believe is occupied by the hotel owner or operator. Memphis was nice! And cheaper than Nashville. It was so close to Beale St too! Like less than 6 mins! Only thing that was weird and sucked if you got to the hotel late there wasnt enough parking room so you have to park on the street. Overall everything was nice and clean ,just weird parking set up.

We stayed here 2 nights so we can go to Graceland and the Civil War Museum. The breakfast consists of either boiled or scrambled, tea biscuits, grit gravy, special k and raison bran cereal. Coffee or tea, milk, orange or apple juice. Cinnamon danishes, toast and a waffle maker to make fresh waffles. One day they had boiled and one day they had scrambled although they have a sign that says they rotate the items including a breakfast sandwich but it wasn't there while we stayed.
