Nice size rooms with living area separate from sleeping area. Huge spread for continental breakfast daily. Clean rooms, weird bar area attached to the front desk. Guess the hotel clerk is certified as a bartendar too. Lots of retail shopping surrounding the hotel. Downside...no microwave in room to go with the fridge. Room service food was...eh.

Like many Hyatt Places, meets the brand standards - but what sets them apart is there staff. Donte (sp?) was one of the nicest people I have met in all of my hotel stays, and everyday had a great attitude and willingness to help. He is destined for great things in the hotel industry! Room was kept clean and there were no issues.

I didn't give this place a good review the first time because it is not in great shape. Tonight I arrived at 2:15 am. Waited 10 minutes to get buzzed in and then was told would have to wait 20 minutes before they could check us in because they were running a night audit. Had I told them we were arriving late she would have known to wait she said. We did check late arrival. Incredibly rude about it too. Considering we are the ones waiting in the lobby until 3 am. And we still aren't checked in. ... Read more

We stayed for two days and the hotel was clean and comfortable. We had our motorcycles on our trailer and the manager was very accommodating and helped us find a secure place to park the trailer with a security officer on duty near by. We enjoyed a fresh breakfast with a healthy menu to choose from and the pool was nice. The only reason I did not give it a 5 was because the men's restroom was a bit filthy on both days. Other than that I would highly recommend this place and will be back.

The hotel looks out on to a Home Depot and is rather hard to find. Upon check in - the room was fine and spacious although tired. This hotel was considered to be in East Memphis but was past Germantown and not even close to where I was working. My bad. There is not a restaurant in the building as I was led to believe. There is pre-made food but I went out - tons of chain restaurants if you like that kind of food. The breakfast was ok -friendly staff - food so so. The hotel was quiet enough just ... Read more

Have stayed at hotel a number of times for long periods at a time for business. The hotel is clean, rooms are comfortable and Wi-Fi is reliable and fast enough for business use. The breakfast is a basic buffet style with a set selection of hot dishes. The seat down area is not huge so it can get a little crowded in the morning especially on weekends. Staff are very welcoming and professional. The hotel location is great as it is close to major shopping mall and many restaurants.

Great hotel if you have standard requirements for billing. If you need to process for a non-profit such as a school, you may want to think elsewhere or consider paying in advance (not a valid option for a public school). Tried to get it straightened out, thought they were working with me, was told they would send out a new bill with District check posted as cleared and taxes credited off, but still waiting in order to clear my bookkeeping requirements.

Location is good, on a shopping complex with easy access to the freeway and within walking distance of a number of restaurants. First impressions weren't great. Arrived and had to wait to check in as another guest was trying to check in but his room wasn't ready yet (after 6pm) despite the fact that he had apparently called ahead to check. Reception radioed housekeeping who were quite colourful with their reply until the receptionist said "you do realise the customer can hear everything you'... Read more

Hyatt strikes again with a great property design. Good people at the hotel.. helpful and pleasant. Rooms were very quiet and well appointed. Breakfast was above average for an included meal. Will be back

Every single member of the hotel staff from the cookers and cleaners to the management were very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean. The air works great in the room. It is a little noisy but not loud enough to bother you. Breakfast was fair.

We stayed here for two nights I was worried about having never been to Memphis before about what kind of area our hotel would be in and this hotel was in a great location and I felt very comfortable coming and going at all hours of the day and night. it is located in a shopping center, very well lit, and there was also a security guard in the parking lot the night we arrived around 11 PM The bed was comfortable the room was very spacious and the continental breakfast was great. My only complaint... Read more

We were looking for a place to stay during our visit to Memphis but didn't want to spend a lot of money. This was a good compromise - it was close to the highway but not downtown. However, getting to the hotel was kind of tricky. It is next to the Wolfchase Galleria Mall but kind of tucked away in the back corner. Our GPS had a hard time finding the right way to Giacosa Place so I had to use Google Maps on my phone to find the hotel! The lobby looked sleek and it had a bar. The breakfast area l... Read more

The staff and service at this location are amazing! Clean, good food, good value. Convenient to shopping and Germantown area. About 20 minutes from downtown Memphis but interstate construction can push the time up considerably.

I love the Hyatt Place Memphis/Wolfchase. For starters it's not in the heart of Memphis but...it's close enough to the action. Also, very close to the hotel are some very good good options. The staff is friendly and breakfast was much better than I could have expected.

Room and linens were oversprayed with some kind of freshener, not really clean and difficult to breathe. The cooling system smelled like it was pumping out mold and mildew. I slept in my clothes. Place was yucky.

This was my second stay for business and it has been phenomenal both times. I loved everything about my stay. The breakfast was delicious, but the staff was the most impressive part of my stay. They used my name as soon as I walked in, and acted as if they had been waiting my arrival, talk about making me feel special. then they remembered me the next morning and greeted me by name. I expect this out of a resort or similar, but not out of this stay.

We really enjoyed the hotel. Everything was good from the staff to the room. We did have a hard time getting to it off of the interstate because you could not make a left turn onto the road that the hotel was on. You had to go down the road make a U turn and come back up a very busy road. That part was not good. Very safe area. I went out for a run and felt very safe in the area.

Have to travel for business all the time. This is a great place to stay. Beds are great. Rooms and hotel always clean . Staff go above and beyond to make it feel like home away from home. Food is great! Enjoy the popcorn and lemonade during the happy hour.

The hotel was in excellent condition and the staff was welcoming and friendly. There was a friendly security guard on night patrol to watch your vehicle. The hotel lobby was clean, very modern, and had plenty of comfortable seating. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is nice. It is located in what appears to be a safe neighborhood. The hotel is clean and staff are very friendly. Thr breakfast is a standard Hyatt breakfast and the breakfast area is krpt tidy. There is plenty of shopping nearby, there are numerous restaurants, and Beale Street is a short 20 minutes drive away. The linens do have a strong bleach smell FYI but that is no problem for me.

I am very pleased with the hotel staff, cleanliness, breakfast, and comfy bed. This is a little ways from the downtown Memphis attractions, but worth it. The price is great too. I would recommend this to my family and friends coming to Memphis. The ratings are great for a reason.

I was relocated to this hotel without much notice per my company and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. All of them were so friendly and attentive. The room was nice, fairly typical and clean. More spacious than most. I only have two complaints; the bathroom is really tiny. I did like the vanity, though (which is not in the tiny bathroom.) Many bathroom counters are so deep that it's difficult to get ready. This one was perfect. My second complaint is the small table by the beds ... Read more

This stay would've been so much better if patrons were not left in the dark for over 7 hours! You mean to tell me that a hotel of this standard does not have a GENERATOR!!!! I will say that the staff tried to be helpful, they were great however the support staff were not great! Why does it take a maintenance staff over 5 hours to respond to an emergency call and almost 7 just to show up? Foolishness!

We were warmly greeted and booked in very quickly by a very efficient young man. Unfortunately the room we were allocated had a giant air conditioning unit directly outside the window which was quite noisy. We went back to the check in desk told them of the problem and they instantly gave us a room on the 6th floor which was very quiet. There was a lovely free breakfast in with the price of the room although making a cup of tea with lukewarm water was a problem. However on mentioning this to th... Read more

We stayed at Hyatt Place while my husband played in a chess tournament hosted by the hotel. I first want to say that I hope that the trashy people who WERE NOT staying at the hotel but thought they were entitled to eat the free breakfast meant for hotel GUESTS do not ruin things for everyone else. That said, the staff were wonderful and extremely accommodating. The eggs at breakfast were too watery so we could not eat them but they had other options. Room was very good. The bed was a bit too... Read more
