This hotel is walking distance to Beale Street, check in was OK - with a reservation made through IHG Room was nice - a KIng Executive for $169.00 plus tax which included breakfast - although we were given a $20.00 voucher for breakfast and was warned that anything over would need to be paid to the wait staff.... that is some breakfast inclusion!!... You get a voucher and of course there is going to be extra... $3.75 for an orange juice. When I book a room with breakfast, I don't expect extras... Read more

Overall this was a good place to stay. I was in town for a business trip and didn't have a chance to experience all of the hotel amenities. All of the employees I encountered were professional, friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, as it was less than a 5 minute walk to Beale street and many restaurants are right across the street. If you are a light sleeper, as for a room away from the garage, as the Valet honks car horns for safety when going around corners.

The room was large with a very comfy King size bed, with four large very comfortable pillows, desk, two chairs, ample closet space, large screen TV etc. Coffee maker (which made great coffee). The bathroom was cramped but we loved the "instant hot water". Room was very clean and quiet, the thermostat worked exceptionally well, providing AC or heat at the flip of a switch, daily room service. The hotel is a block and one half from Beale Street, and close to everything. The staff throughout the ... Read more

Yep, it is a location winner. We were easily able to walk to all the night life from our hotel. The room was clean and had good linens. That's it though. Bathroom was super small. Room was also small but at least adequate. We were on the14th floor and had a pretty good view of downtown and could see the river in the distance. It would have been nice to have been warned there would be live music blaring before 7am on a Saturday morning for a road race. After being up past 1am it was not a welcome... Read more

My husband and I stayed here New Year's Eve, 12/31/16, and absolutely loved it! The staff was so professional and friendly; everyone from the parking valet to the maintenance man. Kristen, at the front desk was amazing! Our room was very nice and clean; the only issue we encountered was not being able to change the AC/Heat unit ourselves as maintenance had to come do that but he was so courteous, as was everyone! Will definitely stay here again! True Southern hospitality!

Hotel is very convenient for the St. Jude Marathon. Starting point and finish line very close to hotel. The first 2 days at the hotel only about half the television channels worked though. Front desk told me that manager was working on it. On day 3 we finally had all our channels. No big deal except we had our 7 year old with us and he wanted to watch tv. Hotel is a little dated but not bad.

This is a nicely situated hotel about three blocks from Beale. There are a good number of restaurants nearby and there is a lobby bar that looked pretty comfortable. Other than that, this is a very standard Holiday Inn - there isn't really much to differentiate it from others. It was comfortable, clean, and the people we nice.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn in downtown Memphis (Beale street). I'm actually still here and writing this from the dining room of the restaurant attached to the property. I am a Spire Elite member in IHG's reward club and travel roughly 200 days out of the year for business. My wife and I spent the weekend in Memphis and stayed at the Holiday Inn downtown on points. We live in St. Louis and decided to come down on a whim for a short get away. I have to say that this is the worst custo... Read more

Hotel has good location and rooms are ok. Nothing special. Staff at front desk is very rude and not friendly at all. Food in the restaurant was not fresh. It may have been premade and heat it up for service.

Terrible customer service at check-in. They made an error in booking my room and instead of being sympathetic, she chose to have an attitude with me. Rooms are old and have a smell. No continental breakfast or even complimentary coffee in the lobby.
