The services at Hampton Inn in Collierville was great! The front desk person was pleasant and courtesy. She was very knowledgeable and resourceful. The breakfast manager was also courtesy and respectful. Marcus assisted me in finding what I needed in the breakfast area. Overall, the experience was great! I will be coming back to this hotel very soon!!

About 20 ladies and girls from my family (related by blood or marriage) decided to do a "Memphis-In-May" trip this year over the weekend. We booked our rooms months in advance to avoid sell-outs. Though the staff were kind and courteous, NONE of our rooms were as advertised! The pool was closed by the HEALTH DEPARTMENT, and a live duck was standing inside the enclosed space. One of our rooms had full-sized beds instead of the ads queen size. My room was advertised as a king studio - there w... Read more

Normally very good chain, unfortunately this hotel lacks a lot. No safe in rooms, no vanity mirror, ventilation in bathroom, no refrigerator unless specific request. Noise from the railroad and other guests through the walls and hallways. Staff however was very efficient, just could not deal with the listed issues. Room 111 is big, but lacks in the comforts listed above. The on-line website layout is incorrect also.

For the area this hotel was over all Good location within 15-30 minutes of the main places to see and do. The breakfast was alittle lower quality the (hot food items) there were other good options as well. The front desk friendly. The rooms were good carpet just needed a shampoo. I would reccomend this place $$ wise cheaper than downtown.

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel based on reviews while on a trip to visit my family. We checked in around midnight and went straight to our room. Would not stay here again due to constant trains running nightly. The noise is unbearable. They supply earplugs but they did not do the trick for me. The location is some distance from anything that you may want to do in Memphis proper but you are not far from expressway. The staff is the best part about this hotel. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

Close to freeway. We went to graceland and this is about 10 to 15 mins drive. Hotel is great. Breakfast was ok. Hotel is clean, staff was very accommodating. The area is close to fast food and restaurants.

The rooms are great and service staff is wonderful! We stay here often when we are visiting our daughter at the University of Memphis. The hotel is perfectly located for the trips and so easy to get in and out of each day. We appreciate the friendly faces and helpful staff. The room is always as we expect it!

I often book hotels because of their location, not knowing what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised from the moment we walked in the lobby which was quite impressive. The staff immediately welcomed us with a smile and the best customer service ever. The room was quite comfortable and I loved the layout of the bathroom. Everything was clean and the staff was helpful at all hours. There is no refrigerator or microwave in the room which I am used to having, but nothing that deterred my sat... Read more

We stayed at the Hampton Inn on Poplar to see a concert Friday night. We last stayed at this hotel around 25 years ago. The hotel was comfortable but the rooms were fairly small and the bathrooms tiny. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, I just like a little more room. Had the bathroom been larger, I would have rated this a "very good". The price was good at $137 which was a fairly good bargain in these days.

Older hotel, but well kept. Easy access from major roads. Good breakfast in the morning with lots of variety. Nice staff-followed up several times about how we were settling in. Shaniqua was very helpful on the front desk. Good value for money. I will stay here again next visit to Memphis.

This property was an excellent choice if you're ever in Memphis. It's about 15-20 minutes from downtown and convenient to the interstate. Excellent value which included free internet and a hot breakfast.

We have stayed at this hotel three or four other times. Each time it has been a very good experience. This time we needed help with some local attractions. The staff was kind to help us and helped us make good decisions on some of those. The hotel is very clean with clean sheets and rooms. And it is always very quiet. The only thing that is not as good as we wanted was the internet speed. I just keep thinking they are purposely slowing the free wifi down so that we will buy the higher speed conn... Read more

The staff here make you feel at home. They are very helpful and just look like they enjoy what they do, which makes it an easy place to get used to if you are in Memphis on business. The rooms are very nice and the location works well if you want easy access to East Memphis area.

The staff was very interactive to ensure it was a good stay. Much more so than just about any other hotel I have stayed at. They rooms have been updated within the last year or so. The rooms are nice. My biggest complaint is that there is no mini fridge in the room. This is the first hampton I have stayed at that doesn't have them standard. It wasn't a big deal for me, but it was unexpected.

The staff at the hotel is great and goes the extra mile to help you. The continental breakfast is awesome and the young lady who prep the food loves her job. There are plenty of restaurants, stores, and shopping nearby.

We stayed at this Hampton Inn over the Thanksgiving holiday since it was close to our niece's home. The staff was over-the-top friendly and helpful! The room was comfortable, if on the small side. Nice choice of breakfast items on the buffet, if you don't have any food allergies, and they changed it up a bit every day. I loved the free bottled water. We had stayed at an "upscale" hotel a few weeks before this, who did not provide a breakfast option or water, and we paid more for the hotel.

Very annoyed that none of the reviews I read on Trip Advisor mentioned that this hotel is less than one block from a very noisy train track intersection w/ the road. Accordingly, as the train approaches said intersection, it blows the train whistle LOUDLY until it passes by. This went on ALL.NIGHT.LONG. I slept for crap. I would recommend no one stay here unless you can sleep right through such madness. Other than that, hotel is dated, but clean, staff was friendly.
