My family is very loyal to the Hilton family of hotels, though we rarely stay in Hampton Inns. This location changed my perception of Hamptons - it was excellent in every way! We had a minor issue with the first room we were assigned, but we were moved promptly and without hassle. The rooms are large and the beds are quite comfortable. I was really surprised by the quality of the morning breakfast - lots of choices and everything was replenished on an ongoing basis. This is a very nice area too,... Read more

Stayed here on a recent Saturday night. The location is in the medical area near a hospital and for a weekend stay, it was a quite area with very little traffic. I was assigned a room on the first floor. The room was very clean but appears to be an older room that could stand updating. There was a small pool area just outside my room that looked adequate. The breakfast was the standard waffles, eggs, gravy, juice, cereal, etc. In this hotel, the food service area is broken into several dif... Read more

We ended up at the Hampton as a result of a storm knocking a branch out of a tree in our yard which pulked down the power lines and the transformer in our backyard. The hotel was very clean, staff was very helpful. They were very empathetic to our situation in let us check out but keep reserved in case we didn't get power again the next evening. We got this room at an excellent rate and the facilities were well worth what we paid. The young man that checked us in was very nice, but did not disclose that a $15 incidental fee and $50 authorization fee would be charged to our card. The young lady that checked us out could have stayed at home that day because she obviously did not care to be there and her attitude reflected it. The breakfast was horrible. My daughter and I ended up eating cereal and a small pastry.

Has a presentation at Memphis Airport so I flew into Memphis on a Sunday morning. Their shuttle picked me up and got me to the hotel after a short ride. A number of good restaurants around the hotel but they suggested a restaurant at the neighboring hotel for business dinner. Great suggestion and they gave me a gift certificate to eat there. Service was above and beyond and the room was ready early and very clean. Will definitely stay here again.

With lots of Hampton Inn travel experience, I feel qualified to say this one is a contender for the Best All Around award. Large and lovely common areas, breakfast offerings that take it up a notch (grated coconut and granola offered to sprinkle on fresh pineapple), and a really nice outdoor pool area. Other reviewers have commented that the location is a bit distant, and I don't disagree. I simply give the hotel bonus points for geography. We got anywhere we wanted to go in 15-20 minutes -- a r... At the hotel now (7/26/2016). Check in was easy via mobile app and key was ready when I arrived. Hotel is old with concrete walls, popcorn ceilings and floor air unit; not digital. Sheets were scratchy with lesser thread count. Felt more like a motel. Was advised that this is the "best" Hampton in the area. However, I'm use to newer/better as a honors member. Room was cleanish, but old....For this reason, I immediately booked the Embassy suites (renovated & sold out) for my 2nd night.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, the room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very good, and the staff was helpful and friendly. All in all, I would stay at this hotel again in the future.

We went to Memphis, Lexington, Louisville, & Nashville to see the sights & visit museums. Of the 4 motels in which we stayed, this was our favorite. The staff really seemed to enjoy their jobs & sincerely cared about their guests. The room was tastefully decorated, very spacious, & comfortable.

This was a business trip for training. The staff was very friendly - even at 430 in the morning - and helpful. Fresh baked cookies and/or popcorn set out as an afternoon snack, very delicious. The shuttle service was very helpful in getting around to local venues. King size bed was awesome and I think I actually slept better here than at home

This Hampton Inn was wonderful. Staff members treat you as if you are extra special. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Our only regret was that we had not planned to stay longer. We will come back!

This was the perfect location for a couple in town for the weekend. We felt safe in this area and there were lots of restaurants and stores nearby. We used Uber to get to Beale st ($20 each way). Nice clean room. Breakfast was pretty standard. Staff was super nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Attended a family event and stayed at their recommendation. The hotel made accommodations for early check-in to allow us to change. I used their "on line check-in" feature, but I couldn't remember the room # that I selected. It was a quick visit, but the facility and room could not have been better. I used their smart phone key which worked great for hotel entry as well as room entry. As I recall, room was CPAP friendly. Bed and linens were fresh and inviting. Breakfast area was typical for thi... Read more

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and will stay again when we visit again in the near future....the room was clean and quite, plus the breakfast was very good. There are lots of restaurants in the area for all kinds of dinning experiences.

Very nice for the price and the staff went above and beyond by recommending great places to eat, things to do, and baking fresh cookies just for us! We enjoyed the continental breakfast very much. The hotel was in a nice area and it was easy to hop on the interstates to get around.

Terrific breakfast and comfortable stay. Great place to stop on our way to Nashville. Close enough to Graceland, that we spent time there and really enjoyed our visit to Memphis. We recommend to anyone traveling that way.

We had an issue with the sheets on the fold out sofa bed - they clearly needed to be changed (there were some tiny smears of blood on them) but as soon as we raised it the house keeping staff were at the door and changed not only all the sheets but also the mattress topper. They then refunded our whole first nights stay for 3 people. This is a generic hotel but the facilities are good the staff are charming and the location is fantastic.

Our soccer club stayed at this hotel for the Germantown Invitational soccer tournament. After being put in touch with the hotel group sales manager, Josh Rubin, we were quickly and efficiently setup for our two teams to register either over the phone or online using using our group code. In addition, Josh went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a great one! At the hotel, they couldn't have been more accommodating. We used the lobby areas as a meeting place, which had plenty of tables fo... Read more

After arriving and checking in, we went to our 1st floor room. It was a very quiet room, with a view of the parking lot. We enjoyed our stay other than the ants crawling around in the kitchen area of the suite.

This was the perfect location for us. Right in the heart of Memphis & right on Beale street. Self parking next door is easy. Hotel room was nice, and for the price, exactly what I expected. Front desk staff were friendly & helpful. We stayed in room overlooking Peabody place so we had zero noise issues. B'fast buffet was not that appealing to us, but seems very busy. If I ever come back to Memphis I would gladly stay here.

Clean, neat, lovely rooms and a very helpful friendly staff. They made our stay in Memphis so much more pleasant. The breakfasts were some of the best of this type we have had at hotels. The eggs were hot and fresh and tasted like real eggs. The coffee was hot and strong and fresh as well.

Nice hotel, we got a good deal for $107. Lobby very nice, breakfast had real breakfast food. Easy check-in. Free Internet. Very good value at $107 -- don't know what the regular price is. Beds were comfortable - plenty of pillows. Shower pressure fine. View not great, but so what.

This is well-located, classy and clean hotel close to main highways for quick access to most of what you want to see and do in Memphis. The décor is distinctly "Memphis" and the staff is as good as I have seen. Every staff member was polite, friendly, helpful and each always had a smile on their face. It was my pleasure to stay....and I will go out of my way to stay again. The area is safe, and the parking is free. They have a great breakfast. Don't miss the oversized historic pictures of the ...
