We always stay here when coming to a Memphis & always request the same room. ALL the employees treat us with respect & make us feel very important. They continuously go above & beyond to make us feel wanted & comfortable. They make us feel like they genuinely care about us & that we are taken care of, no matter what we need.

We arrived at about 3 P.M. on Friday afternoon. There was no bellman available, no luggage carts and no wheelchairs available for my handicapped wife. The front desk did not have a shower accessible room available as had been requested. The front desk also was not able to make change for a #20 bill. As a result I had to make 4 trips back and forth between my car and the room in order to get my wife settled, transport our luggage myself and then park the car. The pool requires showering before en... Read more

Our organization has been meeting yearly at various Embassy Suites for close to 20 years. The reasons are the overall consistency of clean, comfortable rooms, friendly helpful staff, and the value provided. The Embassy Suites Memphis did not disappoint us. The attractive room-suites allow for plenty of space to spread out or include more family/ friends. The day starts with cooked to order omlets or a large variety of other buffet items. The guys at the omlet bar were very friendly and eff... Read more

We pulled into Memphis never expecting that there would be no room at any of the inns-- it was, we thought, a relatively unbusy, nondescript time of year for travelers (it was October). After several tries late in the evening, we finally found room at this Embassy Suites. The facilities were clean-- pristine even. The hotel is shiny and inviting. The staff was helpful and kind. The complementary breakfast was really very good-- far more substantial than the free breakfast provided in most o... Read more

I can always count on Embassy Suites to be the same where ever we go. This hotel didn't let us down... we love staying in suites giving us more space and separate sleeping area. Complimentary made to order breakfast saves us time and $$$. Great location near restaurants and easy access to highways.

Great customer service from the start, check-in. The Mangers Reception was awesome; meatballs, lasagne, salad and artichoke dip. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable about the areas to visit. The morning breakfast was delightful, the omelette chef was funny, courteous and cooked a "mean" omlette! Was a terrific stay!

We came to Memphis for the must-do visit to Graceland and a stop at the Memphis BBQ Festival. This is an old style Embassy with the center open enclosed courtyard. From the TripAdvisor site photos it seems it just received a major renovation last year. The common area is fresh, and quite an improvement over a recent stay at an identical layout Embassy in Columbia, SC. The room was not as fresh, it too needs some attention. I believe some rooms have been upgraded, I am disappointed I didn't ge... Read more

Indoor pool and sizeable rooms make this a great place to host a family reunion or other family gathering. The kitchen made hot cookies for all the kids upon arriving to the property. The staff was kind and professional and while we did get advised of a noise complaint, it was done in an hospitable fashion that did not alienate us as guest.

Nice property in a decent neighborhood of East Memphis. Pleanty of shopping and restaurants in the immediate area. There was a very convenient airport shuttle and complimentry shuttle service within a 5 mile radius. The room was clean and in good condition and all rooms open to the 5 story atrium. The elevators are a little on the slow side. so get lower if you can. There is an indoor pool and spa but the room was unbearably warm if you were not swimming. The exercise area has 3 treadmill... I stay at the Embassy Suites brand at least 20 times a year and have never seen lines like the ones here. The managers reception line was over 20 minutes long with one guy working it. The breakfast line was even worse. You'd think you could add a person to help out during busy times to help the flow. The rooms are updated and very comfortable but the staffing here should be addressed.

The stained carpet made the room smell and the housekeeping staff did nothing but make the bed everyday for my 8-day stay. Towels were always taken despite they were left hanging to use again. The sheet were never changed. The condiment container was rarely refilled after using the sugar for coffee in the room. However, the coffee in the room had a great flavor. The staff was friendly. We were on the 1st floor. It was nice to be close to the pool & happy hour & breakfast. With the air-conditioner running, we did not notice any outside noise. We were given the wrong room when we got there. We reserved a king, non smoking and got a two bed smoking. They did fix the problem but then ended up in a room above the pool that smelled like chlorine. We kept it. It was a nice hotel. Very modern. Not as comfy as past embassy's but they did rectify the problem quickly. Probably more than I should have paid for what I wanted.

Great hotel for family visit. Check in process was quick and the room was clean and fresh and what I have come to expect from this brand. There is a very nice restaurant on the property and a Ruth's Chris Steak house across the parking lot. The staff is awesome and then made to order breakfast is great.

Bathroom was nasty and sheets looked like they had not been washed. My wife was completely grossed out. One of the glasses for water had a hair in it. Very disappointed because in times past Embassy Suites has been a go to hotel for family vacations.

Impossible to get a free drink at the end of the day. One bartender who cannot be any slower! Twenty minute wait for a 10 oz. draft beer. The hotel clearly wants to limit the amount of free alcohol dispensed.

They do not follow code enforcement and the pool area was Way over the limit of how many people accompanied the area and I'm shocked no one's Drowned that night ! The manager d... Read more

On Thursday, September 15th, my wife, one year old son and myself checked into the Embassy Suites Hotel Memphis. My wife was attending a convention in town with her friend, who is an employee of Hilton/Doubletree in Chattanooga. Since both she and my wife were attending the same convention, it was by suggested by the employee that we could stay in a Hilton brand hotel on the friends and family plan. The employee booked the rooms with Hilton and we were all set at the Memphis Embassy Suites. On... Read more

I have no idea why some people posted harsh reviews as we almost didn't stay here. However, we were greeted at the door with a smile and quickly found our reservation and gave us an awesome corner room (132). This hotel seems newly remodeled with new carpet, cool lights and seating in the reception area and our room was spotless. Free drinks were good and strong and the bartender was friendly. The next morning, breakfast was the bomb with cooked to order omelet and pancakes. Even the guy that cl... Read more

Great for business out east. Room was quiet - generally low noise hotel. The staff was really very good, super helpful and obviously well trained. There is a gym in the hotel but just across the poplar road intersection there is an office building with a gym in the basement for 10 dollars. There's no sign , not easy to find but just ask the front desk. Great workout, Brian runs the gym, very friendly. The restaurant is Italian, reasonable food. But no espresso coffee! Great Hotel with great staff. Enjoyed the breakfast, pool, hot tub, and internet. No problems whatsoever. Hotel is located in a nice part of town with about 20 minutes via highway to downtown and Rendeavous Restaurant. Also 15 minutes from the Botanical Garden and 20 minutes from Children's Museum and Liberty Bowl.

I was here for one night. Hotel is very nice and had good breakfast option. Once walked into the bathroom I could see lots of hair on the bathroom floor. That made me feel as the room is not clean. Hotel has everything you need. Room windows can't open, so you have to rely on A/C for fresh air. Bathroom could use some remodeling, but it's a decent hotel to stay in. Cooked-to-order breakfast is good, but personally I found that there was not enough choice in terms of fruits/yogurts etc.

Nice people but the whole place is outdated, shabby and in need of a complete overhaul. We had to change rooms because in our first room the carpet was dirty and frayed; the furniture was also soiled and just plain ugly, mismatched and cheap looking. There were holes in the wall where pictures once hung. And the tile floors were sticky! The replacement room was only marginal better.

The hotel is below average the walls are paper thin and you literally can hear the person in the next room speak. The rooms are not as nice and it has a cheaper feel to it. I would say some staff members are not very professional. The worst Embassy Suites I have stayed at will never book here again.
