Average hotel but fabulous experience, swimming in the heart shaped pool, Elvis songs playing on a loop. Elvis movies in the restaurant and foyer. Fabulously kitsch touches everywhere. Very convenient for Graceland, great night out with Elvis impersonator within walking distance, great staff.

Older Hotel, not the 5 star quality but it's nice, clean and was worth staying at. Staff was very helpful and kind, made us feel at home. Breakfast in the mornings was a nice touch. It's too bad when the new hotel opens they are closing this one.

We Stayed in June 2016 as my wife and i always wanted to visit Memphis and in particular Graceland. The hotel itself is very unique and is setup to restore the memory of Elvis although i believe it will close Shortly when the new hotel opens up across the road. Basic amenities but overall added to the whole Elvis experiece

Such a wonderful and unique place with many Elvis touches throughout. Very clean and nice atmosphere Staff is excellent and listen. The whole staff was sad the place is being torn down. It is soooo sad they are tearing down. Would go back and stay again if it would be there!! Loved the heart shaped pool. Recommend if going before end of month.

We only stayed here as we were visiting Graceland & also due to the history of the place thought it would be nice to say we had the opportunity before it closes! It is oh so very tired, looks like it hasn't been touched for years, room was very smelly, the was o.k but didn't like the plastic plates, bowls cutlery etc! The pool area was dirty with cigarette stubbs everywhere which was a shame due to the shape of the pool etc. If it wasn't for the history/Graceland we would have complained... Read more

I don't think this place has been touched in many years. Although it was original it was tired and old. Having said that the beds were comfortable, and the rooms clean. This building is due to be closed at the end of the year, as a new hotel has now been built and is due to open October 2016. Looking at the outside of that when we were there it is big and looks impressive. Both are in easy walkable reach of Gracelands.

Wow. Any Elvis fan will love this hotel with its broken heart shaped swimming pool, its non stop Elvis films and concerts in your room, lobby and dining area and Elvis gift shop. Graceland is just across the road so it is an ideal location for visiting. It was clean, the breakfast was good and it had free tea and coffee in the dining area up to about 11 at night. To be fair the reception desk looked in need of refurbishment but I believe the hotel will shortly be moving just across the way but I... Read more

Booked in January for September so was very sad we had been double booked so our first night was at another hotel and could not get in our room until 3pm the next day very sad. Did not even offer comparison. When we did get in our room I was not disappointed loved every minute it's a shame it's closing its was clean and comfy breakfast was basic but got us started for the day thank you and good luck to everyone with the new hotel hopefully one day I may come back and stay in the guest house

Dated, mold in bathroom, overpriced. About the quality of a Super 8. But the location is very good if you're planning to visit Graceland. Air conditioning ran all night and it wasn't an especially warm day. Usually budget motel breakfast. Badly in need of refurbishments.

Struggled to check in as the receptionist said that Trip Advisor had not given us the correct voucher that is needed to check in, eventually she said she would sort it out for us. The hotel is old and tired but is oozing character. Everthing was clean and everything worked. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. We stayed for 3 nights and had a brilliant time.. shame its closing and perhaps is to be demolished as the now hotel is to open at the end of October..
