Our room was excellent...clean, quiet and comfortable. Room cleaning staff was slow, but it was UT graduation weekend, so I imagine there were multiple room party messes for them to deal with. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful.

We wanted to see Knoxville on the way to Nashville and picked this Hampton. The stay was wonderful. The room was super clean, and breakfast good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We are Gold HHonors members /HGVC owners and know good vs. poor Hilton products. This place is as clean and comfortable as can be expected at a Hampton. Parking in the garage is easy and convenient. I had a room that was above the busy street. I heard sirens in the middle of the night, and the traffic was very heavy in the late evening and night. If the noise bothers you, I would recommend getting a room that is at the back of the hotel. It did not bother me too much, but I did hear the noise from "down below".

One of the best prices for a downtown Knoxville, TN, hotel. Plus it is centrally located so you can walk to Market Square where there is a great selection of restaurants, as well as both the Tennessee Theatre's live performances and the Regal Movie Theatre. And there are enough night clubs nearby to have good choices for any age group. Mini-fridge which actually keeps things cold. Not So Good: If you want to plug in your electronics and use them while in bed, the plugs are not convenient. Location is great, within walking distance to UT. Parking spaces are narrow - with everyone driving a truck/SUV these days the spaces are extremely tight. Suggest parking in the upper deck. Rooms are refurbished. My towels, albeit laundered, had numerous stains on them - quality check of linens is in order. I did enjoy the breakfast - I am used to eggs/sausage/bacon/french toast all the time but on this stay they had breaded chicken with gravy that I assume is a Southern thing.

Hotel itself was clean and comfortable, but what really makes it great is the location (plus free parking). 5 minute walk to Market Square, and roughly the same to the eastern end of the UT campus (though with some hills in-between). Heading east on Cumberland (along northern edge of main campus) takes you straight to hotel, at intersection of Cumberland and Henley. Stayed one night at this hotel in downtown Knoxville. Easy walking to downtown offices and the restaurants and shops on Market Street. You can even walk to the university, if you don't mind a little hike. Comfortable rooms. Adequate free breakfast. Friendly staff. IMPORTANT: This hotel is built right on the street, without an entrance portico or drive. When you arrive, you must drive down into the small attached garage. Just pull forward and the gate will go up. Then you enter the hotel through... Read more

We arrived at 1pm on Saturday. They didn't have any rooms available so we walked about 10 minutes to market square for some lunch and shopping. We got back to the hotel about 230 and we still couldn't get our room so we hung out in the sitting area. They provided us with some water while we waited. At 3pm our room was ready. The room was on the sixth floor and it was nice, but there was some noise from the street and a church bell kept going off. The parking is good and the location is goo... Read more

You won't find a better staffed hotel in Knoxville. I wished I owned a business in East TN I would hire all of them. I love them all! They truly treat you like family and help make your trip the best.I have in the past 6 years stayed at other hotels but only because they are totally booked.

I was so pleased with my accommodations and the location of this Hampton Inn. It is walking distance from the Market Square and tons of businesses that serves business travelers well. It's also kid friendly. I would definitely book with this hotel again.

I had a Great stay. Nice, Clean rooms. Nice, open, breakfast area. Very accommodating staff. The staff went out of their way to accommodate me when I wasn't feeling well. I was traveling for business and when I'm back in the area I will come back again!

The staff here is amazing, HOWEVER, if you get a room facing the "Church" side of the hotel, prepare for a very loud stay. The traffic noise on that side of the hotel is loud and non-stop. Other than that, it's a beautiful property.

The hotel is clean but that is a basic requirement. Staff were helpfull and friendly another basic requirement. The stay was spoilt by the sucky breakfast it was aweful. The location was a short walk to market street.

The rooms at Hampton are larger than the average hotel room. They have the feel of relaxation and comfort. We will always stay there on any return trip to Knoxville. The prices are very reasonable. The layout of our floor would permit anyone a short trip from the elevator to any room. This is great for any traveler with heavy luggage.

Stayed at the hotel for the UT v. Tenn Tech game. We were greeted very warmly by the staff upon arrival at about 1 p.m. Young lady gave us the key to the room and we freshened up before walking to the stadium. The same young lady was there when we returned after 8 p.m. and was still very warm and welcoming. However, she had a helper who had long straight hair, wish I had gotten her name, who was downright rude. In the number of times I stayed at the hotel, that is the first time I encounter... Read more

Great family hotel. Great breakfast and front desk crew. Robert, Kayla Adler and Shakayla Cobb were of assistance at all times. Shakayla also helped provide me with activities for our 6 year old. Kayla was a real help in getting us into a great room where the kids could overlook the Worlds Fair Park.

I would definitely stay here again.breakfast was great. Staff was awesome. There were a couple cheerios in the bathroom toilet and floor. So that was a little alarming. But overall it was a good experience.
