We're staying here due to a fire. The management and personnel are second to none. We are greeted warmly by name each day by every employee we come in contact with. We have the same housekeeper everyday who strives to make our suite clean and comfortable. We are grateful and appreciative and strongly recommend this Homewood Suites to anyone!

The hotel had a nice homey feel with the way the rooms were nicely equipped with kitchen and separated bathroom. We got the King Suite. The staff was friendly and the kitchen staff was also friendly. My only complaint was the room smelled musky in or near the bathroom. Also the light switch and covers could be wiped down every so often. Nice hotel though despite those 2 negatives. One other thing is i think the pet fee of $75 is too much considering a little dog hair is not much of a clean-up. ... Read more

I have stayed at this property 7 Times since February. I have never had a unpleasant stay. The staff is above outstanding. The room was very clean. The breakfast was good the evening social was pleasant. The grounds are kept up. I cannot complain about the hotel. I am a seasoned traveler and this is where I will stay every time I have a need in Knoxville. Everything you need is within this area.

We were visiting Knoxville for Destination Imagination finals and chose this venue for proximity to a relative's home. King suite was perfect launch pad for us. 30 min. to downtown, 10 min. to relative, and in the middle of shopping and restaurants. Pool, exercise room and good breakfast (didn't make any of the evening gatherings, unfortunately). Clean with attentive, pleasant staff.

I think my title pretty much sums it up. I did not reserve these rooms, but was a guest during the DI Finals. In order for me to rate it as average, the front desk staff would have been more responsive. In order to have rated it good, our floors would have been swept and the bathrooms and kitchen floors mopped, and the pool and hot tub would not have had a green tinge. To rate this hotel as excellent, it would need a serious update. I will say the beds were really comfortable, but the rest o... Read more

this hotel shares a parking lot with another hotel and the Texas roadhouse steakhouse. The surrounding vicinity has every restaurant you can imagine from Buffalo wild wings to red Robin to Panera bread. There is a target AND Walmart located across the street. Literally any type of food you need is walkable from this place. I love the HOMEWOOD brand because I like apartment-style with separate kitchen as opposed to just one hotel room. I had reserved room #318 for a week long vacation (you can choose the room 24 hours before check-in). I was given room #319 upon arrival and was told there were maintenance problems in #318. Other people were in that room later though and we were never given the option to go back to that room. I don't think that they should offer the ability to choose a room if they aren't really going to let you. This started my trip off on the wrong foot as I tend to be superstitious. (Connor's right next store was a very nice restaurant for steak and seafood). Beds were super comfy, room was spacious and very clean, breakfast good. The facility is up to date. Rooms clean with no mold in bathrooms. Food options very limited for breakfast and dinner snacks. Room does not seem as large as, say the Candlewood, but OK. The most important thing we noticed about Knoxville (too late) is that there's not a big difference in price between the mediocre places like this and the upscale hotels (like the actual Hilton Hotel). If I had it to do again, I shell out the extra $50 and spring for better accommodations. Everything was okay at the Homewood Suites. It was clean and decent, but pretty basic with simple rooms and an almost unusable gym.

Suites are a little small, but the location of the property is good. There is a grocery store, liquor store, cinema, shopping, and many restaurants within walking distance. There is also a walking trail nearby. The courtyard has a small pool, outdoor grills and tables and chairs. Nice location but the room itself was small.

Homewood Suites is always my favorite hotel. Having a full sized refrigerator, dishes, a REAL drinking glass in the bathroom... these are the sort of things that add up when it comes to the extra niceties.
