This hotel offers everything you expect from a Hampton Inn and excels. The property is about twice the size of a typical Hampton, but it doesn't cause any issues from a service standpoint. Breakfast is always good and Rooms are always Clean

Location is convenient for the national park but not too far from Knoxville, so you can still enjoy the revitalised centre of that pleasant city. Seemed like a relatively new hotel - decent room with good bathroom, nice pool and fitness room, and well-sized breakfast lounge. Staff were friendly and helpful, giving us a great dinner recommendation.

My husband and I were passing through Knoxville on our road trip and this hotel was the perfect hotel since it is right off the interstate! Loved the shower! They also have a 24 hour pool that you have access to! The only complaint would be that there was a small stain on the comforter but you could tell it was an old stain. It didn't bother me much since it seemed like the comforter was clean but someone just didn't notice the stain when replacing it. Don't let that hinder your visit though! I ... Read more

Usually stay here when traveling from Florida to Maryland. However, this particular trip I was not able to cool my room sufficiently at night. The room was not like a sauna, but it was hot and stuffy. It wasn't until the next morning as I checked out I mentioned to the front desk staff the AC unit may need servicing, I was informed the thermostat is an 'Eco Friendly' unit which will automatically set the temperature to 75 degrees when it doesn't detect movement in the room. Stayed for two nights on business trip. It's a little difficult to locate and odd to get to, but this hotel is really nice. The rooms are spacious, carpet, walls, and bathrooms appear almost brand new, and the whole place just has a clean, fresh feel to it. Staff were very polite and helpful. I stay in many Hampton Inns, and this is one of the nicest I've been in. Breakfast, as at most hotels, was standard fare and so-so . . . but I've come to expect that. Gym is small, but adequate. This hotel was clean and room was decent. Neighbors were a little noisy. Breakfast was plentiful and good. There was a very large eating area which was nice. What I enjoyed, probably because I'm from California, is at night, there are fireflies by the little sump on the hotel property. There's a little sitting area by it. There's plenty of parking and some restaurants within walking distance. The night clerk was by himself and it was busy for some reason. So I can't comment on servic... Read more

Very dissatisfied with the service at the property. Also security. Doors that have signs on them that says door to remain locked at all times were unlocked our ENTIRE stay. So who knows who could have entered that hotel at anytime. Asked for milk for my son and was told they don't have milk but they service cereal in the mornings for breakfast. Took 2 phone calls and 40 minutes to receive shampoo and conditioner. I do not recommend this property if you are looking to have a stay with good servic... Read more

Hotel needs to improve signage/ directions as you exit the highway. No signs at the south bound exit of I 40. Turn left for the hotel. Very hard to find the drive way into the hotel, can see the building but no directions or signs to know how to get to the hotel. More luggage carts are needed. Only 2 small carts for a good sized hotel, with lots of senior aged people who really need them. Helpful staff. Wild and crazy designs on carpeting.

We chose this Hampton Inn from a triple A travel book due to location. Everyone was very friendly from the time I made the reservation til the time of our second check out. The desk clerk recommended Aubrey's the very close restaurant. We ate there twice. Good food and atmosphere. My only disappointment was that the Hilton surveys expired before we got home. The property itself is "meh". Nothing fancy, not super clean, bed not comfortable at all...but not terrible or filthy. Just ok. The free breakfast is also nothing special but it had enough variety that we were content. The main issue was front desk staff--we paid ahead of time through an online booking site, then gave a card at check in for incidentals. At checkout, it was evident the front desk clerk was inexperienced. She gave the gentleman in front of me another guest's receipt, and he ... Read more

Clean comfortable room with a view of an RV lot and I-40, large walk-in shower, nice cable selection, and a free breakfast that included biscuits and gravy, omelets, bagels, yogurt, etc. My friends also stayed there and noted that while their rom had a couch in addition to the bed and desk, my room did not. I have to begin by commending this hotel's cleaning staff. This may be one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. I put a washcloth on the back of the toilet bowl, and it slid off and landed on the floor behind the toilet. Naturally, I figured that it would be covered with hair, dirt, dust, and other things from behind the toilet where a vacuum cleaner hadn't visited in months. WRONG! I've stayed here a few times for work. Always a nice room. Breakfast is what you would expect for a hotel. Aubrey's next door is a good restaurant that we usually eat at while staying here. Hampton Inn is consistently good and this is no exception. A couple of items to improve- the closet door was difficult to close (i reported it) and the aroma of room freshener was too perfumey. Yes, one can look from a distance and see the Hampton Inn because it is so tall, but there needs to be a sign right in front of the Aubrey's Restaurant as to where one needs to turn to the right or left to go to the hotel itself.
