The stay was nice and our room request was met. We got adjoining rooms. Everything was clean. If we had requests for more towels/linens, the staff was more than happy to help. Could have been a bit more updated. Overall, it was a good stay.

My wife and I stopped here on our way to Lake Toxoway, NC. We were dogsitting our son's dog and this hotel worked out just great for that reason. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast meal was ok. Would probably stay here again due to its proximity to I - 81. The price we paid for this room was about $40 higher than usual due to a race event taking place that weekend.

Looking for a clean, safe, comfortable place to stay on our way from Nashville to Baltimore pulling a UHaul. Couldn't have found a better place to fit the bill. Spotlessly clean, updated, comfortable King-sized bed with nice linens and five pillows, oversized half fridge, microwave, coffee maker, cabinets, desk, twin-sized sleeper sofa and larger flat screen TV plus a small balcony. Perhaps we were given the best room in the motel, but nothing to complain about! Wi-Fi speed respectable. A pr... Read more

This hotel is seriously underrated! We found the hotel to be clean and the staff to be amazingly helpful. Our two dogs were welcomed and comfortable during our stay. Check in/out was a quick process and the front desk staff went out of their way to help us find a place to eat. We will recommend this hotel to whomever will be traveling through Tennessee on I-81.

I try to stay at this location whenever traveling with my dog - she LOVES sitting on the balcony! Great staff and clean rooms. Recently have done some landscaping upgrades. Would prefer some additional breakfast items (cut mixed fruit would be great!), but there is a McDonalds one exit north....

This hotel had 2 issues for ADA needs: (1) No refrigerator in the ADA room...and apparently, no ability to add one to the room. (2) More importantly, if you need to extend a ramp to get a power-chair out of you van, you have only one spot--in back of the hotel--where you have the required width in a handicapped spot. Once you are out of the van, you can easily reach the door; however, you are the. Dependent on someone else to open the door for you since the back doors are NOT equipped with AF... Read more

We stopped here while traveling back to Northern Virginia. The hotel was clean, the staff was pleasant, the price was right and it was close to the highway. Breakfast looked ok, standard continental breakfast if you want it but there is a Cracker Barrel right next door, walking distance. I'd stay here again.

This hotel provided a clean room, comfortable bed, good WiFi, good A/C, and all the pieces (lights, plumbing, et al) worked. The lobby is large and pleasant. The bright side breakfast's only hot food is waffles (no meat, no eggs, etc). The coffee is the hideous Nescafe (fake fresh) and there is no newspaper (not even a news stand) ... so no USA Today. The location is very convenient to the Interstate (on/off) and pretty quient.

Check in was fast and the desk clerk was fabulous. Place was very clean and very comfy beds. Fridge was cold and looked brand new or was very, very clean. Room and bathroom were very nice and clean as well. Only there overnight but it was very comfortable and breakfast bar had a very nice selection including peeled hard boiled eggs!

It is clean, comfortable and convenient to Interstate. Definitely would not recommend it however if you are looking for tasty breakfast. Worst breakfast of any La Quinta in which I have stayed. Waffles were tasteless, if not unpleasant tasting. Yogurt was one flavor only, etc. etc. Coffee was hot, a good thing.

The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable; however, no room safe, no hooks in the bathroom, and the water pressure was horrid. The "free" WiFi was slow and intermittent. Pay the extra couple of $$ and book a Comfort Inn.

We are regular guests at La Quinta's across the country and can report that our experience at Kingsport was a pleasure. It was our third stay at this hotel, which we easily booked for the road for a very reasonable price.

This hotel is located right off the interstate and near the airport. It isn't a high-end resort or a tourist destination, but it is a clean, comfortable room that is well appointed with fridge and coffee maker. Staff was very friendly and public areas of hotel were nice and tastefully decorated. All-in-all an excellent respite for a weary traveler!

The stay was excellent. Far beyond our expectations. Considering the age of the building we were expecting much worse conditions but the room and bath looked newer. The staff was helpful for in ever way.

The king size rooms are nice, newer, and roomy. We were traveling with 3 children and got the largest room. There wasn't much room to move around and then we had to get an additional cot to fit everyone and it was wall to wall beds. Very disappointed in the room size, extremely cramp for family travel. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Rooms really need more than 2 trash cans, we constantly had garbage piled up on the floor (poor maid). Check out the tax rate prior to booking....TAX SHOCK!

This is our second time and we really enjoyed it this time. We were on ground floor which was requested, had a king bed and my mom with health issue was two doors away. I would recommend handles in the shower of regular double bed rooms or more double bed handicap room on ground floor.

The hotel was comfortable and the lady at the desk prior to flying out was extremely helpful. Room was clean, though on the first stay, housekeeping had not left but one towel. Bed was comfortable and we both slept well. The breakfast provided was a basic continental breakfast, other than you can make yourself a waffle. Shuttle service was good. I would stay there again when flying from TriCities Airport.

For the price I guess it was acceptable. Checked in late one night into a handicap accessible king "non-smoking" room. Found cigarette butts in a cup under the bed. Handicap accessible usually doesn't mean a short toilet without grab bars but here I guess it does. Shower hose was broken and would barely stay attached to the shower head. For the money it was a place to sleep and the bed was clean. THE WIFI..... it was off and on and NOT secure... using an old OLD G switch and had almost no ca... Read more

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary - just a one night, short get-away. The room was clean, bed comfortable, and convenient to area dining as well. The king room was great and roomy. The pool looked clean and inviting although we didn't have an opportunity to use it. Most of the staff was great but we seemed invisible to a few, but an overall great stay. I highly recommend this hotel if in the area.

Would not stay here without a coupon or without booking through a discount website.. A nice place. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was okay. Listened to the commercials and expected more. Maybe bacon, fried eggs, etc. Check in and out without problems. Easy access from I81 and centrally located. Glad I used booking site to get a great price. Would never pay full price to stay at this location.

Mold on shower curtain and vent in bathroom. Only one bar of soap in room, nothing else. At 9:01 breakfast was gone. For people from other time zones this was early since you are close to the Central time zone. Other hotels go to at least 10.

Very nice LQ. Several things weren't as nice; the a/c unit was noisy, our room was right at the pool and there were noisy fellows out there until 10:00 when the pool was to close, but two ladies were there until 11:00. If you visit this LQ when it's summer or still hot, ask for an odd numbered rooms which are across the hallway from rooms backing up to the pool. We chose this La Quinta because it was just off I-81 and it had balconies, which are very rare these days. Its great if your a 4 -legged furry creature, but obviously-dogs rule there, not people. Maybe the dogs need to start paying for the rooms. Carpets dirty and lower parts of walls. We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights this month. The doors in the rooms slam loudly. I have stayed at hotels that have closers that prevent the slamming. Please invest in them. I did notice that you had the quiet closers on the ice and snack room. Why not invest in them for ALL the doors? It is so annoying to be almost asleep and someone down the hall slam their door. I don't think they do it on purpose. It is just the type of door closers... Otherwise we had a good stay. Clean room, comfortab... Read more
