We checked in around 9 pm, but the rooms appear to be well insulated from adjacent noise. Our mattress was just right, the only negative was we could have used some spare pillows but this did not affect our sleep. There was a small refrigerator and microwave in the room, but we did not use either of these. The continental breakfast included waffles, cheese omelette, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, yogurt, link sausage, bagels, toast, coffee, juice

We had a very nice time at this Hampton. The room was extremely clean, as was the bathroom. Very quiet hotel and convenient to Kingsport and the towns in Virginia. We had an issue with the television, but they were there within 10 minutes when I reported it.

We stayed at the Kingsport, TN Hampton Inn for the first time on our last journey. The accommodations were outstanding, front desk offered an upgrade for next to no cost, the breakfast was excellent, the facilities definitely were upscale and price was unbelievably reasonable. A hidden treasure!

There seem to be Hampton Inns all over, and no wonder. You can be assured of a restful night, lots of towels and pillows, a variety of choices at the breakfast bar. Yet all Hampton Inns are not the same. This one has the usual medium-sized fridge, but no microwave, and a shorter bathroom counter than I've seen in other Inns. Nevertheless, you get the same breakfast stuff: waffle station, breads, oatmeal with some fixings, cold cereal in boxes, fresh fruit, yogurt, two types of juice. Coffee and ... Read more

I had to stay in Kingsport for 2 weeks for business. This hotel was very conveniently located right off #26 highway. It has large rooms, larger than most Hampton Inns. Very large bathroom. The hotel staff have a great list of recommended restaurants in the area to dine at, all excellent places to eat. Also there is a golf course and winery across the highway from the hotel so I played 9 holes every night after work. I've stayed at many hotels during my travels and this one is my favorite by far. From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was friendly and accommodating. The property is very well maintained and our room was spotless! Very satisfied!!

I'm a fan of Hampton Inns but this one was not great. I felt like was at a seedy highway motel. The entrance into the lobby had an aroma of pee and the Bathroom had rust everywhere and the ceiling looked like it was going to cave in from the leaks covered up. I also didn't enjoy the carpet which also felt like it was left over from before a Hampton Inn. Front Desk Team and Breakfast team was great!

Hampton Inn Kingsport is the perfect place to stay in the Kingsport/Johnson City area. The staff is knowledgeable about the area, friendly. Their breakfast buffet is top quality offering a variety of foods in a well-maintained, clean serving area. Its location provides easy on/off access to the highway.

The beds are very comfortable, breakfast was tasty, the staff was accommodating. The AC units could work better. Although the upgrade to the King Bedroom was nice to have the jetted bathtub, the AC units are too small and do not cool the whole room properly. I like for hotel room temperatures to be as comfortable as my house. I do not like to sweat getting ready in the morning.

This hotel needs updates and maybe some personnel training. The woman in the breakfast area was rude and I was lucky to get any food. She basically took the food out from under the guests hands at 945 am. The room they put me in was hot! I had the AC on 60 and it was uncomfortable.

The staff was professional, kind, and very helpful. The lady working the breakfast area ALWAYS made sure there was plenty of food and coffee available. She did a great job cleaning up after people who would not clean up after themselves. Wish the hotel had a laundry area and the room had a refrigerator.

This hotel is about 15 minutes from Tri-Cities airport. I was only there for about 5 hours due to a delayed flight. The room was clean, the air conditioning worked well, the shower pressure was good. Standard Hampton Inn amenities. Didn't get to use the internet; wasn't there when breakfast opened. Overall, a pretty typical Hampton Inn - friendly staff (front desk at night and morning were both excellent), clean and functional room, etc.

Average Hampton Inn (which is good). Staff at this hotel was the friendliest I have seen. From the maid to the manager that made us feel like we were family in their home. We had a large group for a family reunion. The staff never seemed irritated with our constant presence in the lobby, and they went out of their way to help. Hotel was full with a race in Bristol, but they took great care of us.

I stay here every year to work the Motocross race at Muddy Creek. It's always clean and staff are very helpful. The only issue is the A/C unit only operates in Auto mode and you can't have the fan on constantly to mask noise. But there was very little noise coming from the hallway and I had the room next to the elevator and didn't hear it once.

Upon arrival we had to wade through a large group of drinking people in lawn chairs and blocking the drive standing around. I was shocked. Never before at a Hilton Property had I experience such thing! later that same night a group of about a dozen men were drinking in the back parking lot. (not the same as the front) This went on until after 4am. Once again shocked the management did not do anything to stop this. Felt Unsafe.

Excellent location for the Kingsport aquatic center. There is a limited number of restaurants close by. The breakfast bar was average for a Hampton Inn. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The exercise room was dismal and seemed moldy. Our room was very humid even with the AC turned on.

No complaints. Very clean, comfortable, good breakfast selection, and staff was so personable, kind and helpful. My only complaint is the fitness center. Very small, had an odor as if had not been cleaned in a while, no free weights, just a treadmill and elliptical which faced a wall. I just went outside for my workout which I prefer anyway.

I stayed in this Hampton Inn because. Hampton Inns have had a very good track record with me over the years. They deliver consistency in their quality and service better than the rest of the mid range hotels. I feel that they are the dividing line between the lesser brand names and the premium hotels which are far more expensive. I do not have to check the rooms before I check in. This hotel proved to be excellent in all categories. No worries here.
