Do not stay here unless you have to, it seems they prefer quantity over quality. We had to listen to kids slam doors and run the hallways the entire stay. The Internet was the worst I have seen in a hotel, the tv selection was a joke. The hotel is clean, but not worth staying at for the lack of service you receive.

Traveled to Johnson City as I do a few times a year. This is the first time I stayed at this hotel. Rooms were clean, lobby inviting and decently located to restaurants and downtown. Check in was easy and efficient and Internet reliable. I will return for another stay when in the area .

I've come to expect excellent service from a Hilton product. Was not greeted as an Honors member, nor were other folks who checked in after me. Bed was not comfortable. Will not consider staying again.

This Hampton Inn is in a very convenient location to ETSU and to I-26. We were only there overnight and the room was very clean and comfortable. Convenient to restaurants with a Krystal Burger next door

The hotel itself is pretty nice and looks to be fairly new. There isnt anything over the top about this hotel other than it is convenient to ETSU and I-26. The amenitites are the typical of any Hampton I've stayed in, and it is a very clean and comfortable hotel. The only thing I can really complain about is that upon arrival for check in, the desk agent was on the phone (what sounded like) arguing with a customer and left us waiting about ten minutes until he was finished with his phone call.

The hotel was clean and well kept. A little off I-81 than I thought. Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean and up to Hampton standards. Breakfast area seemed a little small. Close to shopping and restaurants with a pretty view of the mountains the next morning.

Our first grandchild was born and in JCMC. We were worn out and this was the closest hotel. At first I felt it was too expensive but after 5 mins in such a huge and clean room with a mattress that was great; it was worth every penny! The jetted tub was also exactly what I needed!

I travel to Johnson City a few times a year. I have stayed in different hotels while visiting there. This one by far was the least pleasing one. The manager seemed not liking his job at all, since he was not friendly with the guests and did minimum to address their needs. The worst part for me was when I told him about the clogged bathroom while going out and then he gave me a plunger when I came back to the hotel and then while I was still working on the bathroom he called our room to ask for t... I felt the staff clerked us as we arrived. The room was generally clean though the oversized tub was not clean based on the ring around the tub and the air conditioning unit leaked water onto the rug while we slept.

No one at the check in area when I arrived however there was a sign there to say they would be right back. The male working did arrive and apologized for the wait but wasn't very friendly. Detected some frustration with his body language. Could see 3 cleaning carts in the hallway from where he had just come. It was after 5pm and I had reserved my room weeks in advance but he was unsure if it was "clean or not." Had to wait for that to be checked before he gave us room number and keys.

My wife and I had another wonderful stay at this Hampton Inn. The staff was very welcoming, greeting me with a smile! The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. My wife loved the Fitness Center which had a nice TV and top-notch equipment. We pay a little more here than we usually like to pay but feel it is worth it. Once you stay at a Hampton Inn other motels just don't cut it.

Found most staff members ready and willing to help with whatever they could. The complimentary breakfast had less to offer than I expected given the rate we paid. All in all, I think you can find better value.

Very nice, clean hotel. Rooms are quite nice. Hotel is surrounded by beautiful mountains; and, there are many good food choices nearby! Breakfast bar has many good choices, both hot & cold! Room is nicely appointed and has a very nice TV. Heating/cooling worked very well. Bathroom has large Jacuzzi tub! Internet service is deficient.

I have started booking with the Hampton Inn because of the rooms and service. This one night was no exception. However, Internet connection was skimpy at best. We had a room by the pool and the music played all night. We did not use the pool because of the trash and dirt in it, and several guests were inebriated.

From the moment our 22 motorcycles from HOG Chapter 1 rolled in to the parking lot to find a roped off section of the parking lot reserved for us we knew it was going to be a great experience. The staff had taken the time to pre-register our group so the check-in was fast and also had put together a themed bag of goodies for each of us. We will be back next year!!

The bathroom towel holder was falling off the wall. The light in the bathroom was hard to operate. The tiles were greasy, slimy. Whirlpool bath smelled like mildew. Air conditioning system leaked onto the carpet making the floor wet.

Had the usual quality Hampton rooms, friendly staff, and pretty good breakfast. However, I did feel like advertising a pool was almost false advertising, as the pool appeared dirty and perhaps closed, but definitely not fit for humans. Not sure if the wifi was working; it was difficult to access in my room.

We much prefer the Carnegie and at the same price, but they were booked and we were on a quick turnaround. Good location but not so safe turning to the left toward town. This property is long in the tooth, even though some updates obviously taken place in the past few years. The pool area is atrocious!

We had a pleasant stay and always enjoy the hot breakfast provided. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We always choose the Hampton Inn chain for their cleanliness and friendly staff. This was the first time we had a bit of a problem; when our girls went to get in their bed, there was body hair in the sheets. I called the front desk and clean sheets were brought up in about 10 minutes with sincere apologies. We were happy that it was quickly resolved. I would stay again at any Hampto... Read more

Stay there at your peril. Rooms are old. Staff is not helpful. Food is mediocre. There are better alternatives in Johnson City, TN. Would highly recommend another place to stay. This was the most disappointing Hampton Inn I have stayed in. Belong to the Hilton Honors program.

My favorite part of the room was the floor lighting that was just bright enough not to turn on the lights and disturb the others in the room. The hotel seems along way from the interstate 26 which seems to be the only detraction.

Out of all the Hilton hotels I have stayed in lately I found this one to be just average, compared to the Very Good to Excellent rating I usually give. Primarily this was because the front desk was only occupied half the time. Even when I checked out on my last day I stood at the front desk for 5 minutes before someone showed up. During the middle of the day to early evening there was no one there.

Stayed here on our way to NC. Very nice hotel. Couldn't get the wifi to work, but other than that we had no issues. Quiet, comfortable beds. Got down to breakfast around 9 and almost everything was gone-don't be fooled thinking the pineapple is fresh, because it's canned. Oatmeal wasn't very good but it was edible.

I travel to Elizabethton, Tennessee often on business and have stayed the last 3 times at the Hampton Inn in Johnson City. The Hotel is always clean and the staff is efficient with any needs. It is located around many good places to eat and has good access to stores in case you need to purchase any items. Good food at the Breakfast bar.

Not the best we've stayed at, but certainly above average. The staff was very friendly and polite. We would recommend this location to friends and family. The only negative we found was with the shower flow which wasn't much beyond a light mist. We understand water conservation, but they're not saving much if we're showering an extra 5 minutes to rinse soap out of the hair.

Don't get me wrong, the rooms are up to par. However if you need to use their computer or printer services -don't bother. Those items are "outsourced" and the staff will not help you with them. This was very frustrating as I was unable to print a boarding pass or anything else I was trying to do over my stay which included expense reports.

The Hampton Inn has been my first choice in hotels stay for a few yours. I normally get great value for my $$$. A little disappointed this trip. I had to wait for the room to be cleaned. While this location still is similar in quality to other Hampton Inns, there appear to be accumulating maintenance issues. There was a shattered bulb in one fixture, the thermostat on the wall did not control the AC, there was a broken door handle, the microwave light would not go off(had to unplug at night), and the temperature control on the refridgerator was broken off. All were reported upon arrival. The bulb and handle were repaired.
