Although my car navigator didn't help me find the hotel, I eventually made it. Even though I was running late after a very frazzled day of highway driving. As in the pictures, the rooms are shaped uniquely, because of the unusual bump-out window style. The elevators were glass, looking down on the central lobby. This hotel is very clean, and the staff is professional and nice! Indoor/ Outdoor pool is great too. Restaurant is so inviting, and great food! Quite a few events going on in the hotel, and everything flowed so naturally. For a full hotel, no one ever "got in our way". Our stay was very comforting and we were very rested for our return home 12 hr drive. Thank you Double Tree for your hospitality!

Overall, an excellent choice for business or pleasure. Hotel staff were very courteous and helpful. Although the breakfast bar could add a few entree's or simply alternate, the breakfast was good. Rooms were clean and well maintained.

Overall a decent stay, somehow I ended up booking my room the same night as all local high school graduations and I think several college graduations. I arrived around 3:30pm, right at checkin time and although the hotel was mostly empty then, I needed to change from a King to a Double and normally this is not a problem especially as a Hilton Diamond member, so I requested not to upgrade but just to check into a double vice a King. I would have gave it a 2 star.. BUT!! The purpose of my stay my church had an revival and I live an hr.away. But I work in Jackson. To go to the revival and be to work on time.. Good hotel very comfortable beds probably best hotel in Jackson , stayed only one night but very comfortable and clean. Great cookies as always. Rooms on front side of hotel are a little subject to road noise from a busy street so ask for a room on back side. Easy access from I-40.

I was there for my daughters graduation from collage . There was a lot of people there, but we had no problem with that. The only problem was that our key would never work. Other than that it was wonderful stay. And the cookies are THE BEST!!!!

The staff went out of their way to get us into our rooms. Our rooms were not available due to a baseball team tournament extension so they placed us in different rooms. Our stay turned out better than it would have in our original rooms.

I've stayed at many double trees and I can say I did not enjoy this stay. Upon arrival no rooms available (after 5) and billing problems. I wish we could have enjoyed our stay because we have previously enjoyed the doubletree.

Good overall, hotel seems a bit run down and could use an update. Enjoyed the pool area, but pool could have used more attention to bug removal before it opens in the morning. Found cockroach in room and wasn't overly impressed with that.

I entered a lobby full of guests awaiting rooms & only 1 clerk desperately trying to manage questions, offering a wait time of 15 minutes that turned into 3.5 hours. No rooms were ready. Housekeeping staff was evident frantically trying to get rooms ready. Other desk staff stayed behind the office wall until guests began expressing frustration. I was there for Miss Tennessee and I stayed someone else last year and it was the pits. I was glad to be back there again. I really love the DT. It is close to food and the pageant. Great place that I feel comfortable there. Thanks for providing fresh cookies too! It is a great treat that I enjoy.

This hotel is definitely catered to business meetings and group gatherings, but their rooms are still better than average. The beds are really comfortable. And you get a complimentary cookie when you stay here!

This is my second stay at this Doubletree and cannot say enough good things about the staff and facilities. Morgan greeted me as I walked in and handed my key to as soon as I identified myself. I dropped my bag in the room and headed to the Twist for a Yuengling, we can't get those in Texas; I also had a dinner and one or two more bottles of Yuengling. The parking lot is well lit and it is very easy to get back onto I-40 when it's time to leave.

This is a really nice hotel for the money. The staff is very friendly and the room was very clean. Although I was there on business and my company pays for everything I found this hotel to be a great value in comparison to my other choices in Jackson, TN. They also have very good coffee in the morning. I enjoyed my stay & will stay here again.

Poor service and poor availability of food. Nothing close by- you have to go back to the highway/ overpass to find food for your family. No pool towels. Late maid service. The in room wi fi worked one day and not the next.

This hotel needs some TLC and management by walking around. The front desk was friendly but many areas were severely neglected, like glasses and trash in the hallways and towels overflowing in the pool area.

I normally have a great experience at Doubletree Hotels. Think twice before you book here. I'll start on a positive note by saying that the location is very convenient and the staff are incredibly nice and helpful. The chief problem is that the place is at least 10 years overdue a remodel. The staff provided good service; however, the hotel was out dated. The carpet was old and worn, the land line phone in our room didn't work and the cleaning staff did a mediocre job. I've stayed at Doubletree Hotels in the past and the experience was great! Definitely, would not recommend this particular location for the price.

We live in Jackson TN and we rented a room so that we could take our granddaughter swimming for 4th of July. The room was very nice with a fabulous bed. We loved the cookies as well. All of the staff that we came in contact with were very professional.

i stayed here again in 2016 and found it to still be a very clean and well kept hotel. i drive through jackson at least once a year and lok forward to my stay. the indoor outdoor pool is always a nice retreat. the staff is always so polite and eager to help. the restaurant is always clean and inviting. but i wish they would add to their menu. i will return soon.

Kids enjoyed the pool. Especially swimming "under the wall" and being outside. Would definitely have come back. Could use a complimentary breakfast but restaurant prices didn't seem bad based on in room menu. Overall was a great experience!

I booked through a third party and then was charged again for my room upon check out. Even though they were extremely sorry for the mistake it took over 5 days for the money to be returned to my account. Even with me confirming at check in and check out. It was still billed wrong. The staff at both times we not friendly at all.

Rooms were nice but the pillows were not comfortable and our room did not get cleaned until after 4 or 5. the cookies were not hot like the ones in Lancaster. The check in went smooth and the front desk people were very nice. The location was close to where we were going .

While I appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel the service in terms of the room was poor. The maid did not clean the room completely during my stay. Also, the air conditioner was not working properly. I informed the front desk and scheduled a time for it to be repaired. Upon my return to the room the unit still did not work to my satisfaction. The room itself still was not as cool as it should have been even with the setting set to its lowest temperature.

The Double Tree Hotel in Jackson, TN is an excellent hotel. We stay there for four nights in mid July each year for the "Jackson Sings the Gospel" at the Civic Center. Just wouldn't stay anywhere else in Jackson. Double Tree is the best!!! The staff are wonderful !! The rooms are clean and the beds are more comfortable than mine at home!!

I am a silver honors member. I stayed at Hilton/double tree hotels. I did expect it to be much nicer for the price. Long lines, people waiting as rooms where not ready pass the check in time. Our room was not ready but because with membership, we are guaranteed. Was able to get room with no issues. Cookies where nice and warm. Quiet rooms. Not a nice view at all. The hotel is in need of a face lift. It looks like they do not vacuum. The paint on many surfaces is chipped and rubbed off. It is just run down. Restaurant staff is slow and unorganized. The "buffet" had many missing items. Like milk. How do you run out of milk at a restaurant?

HAD A CARPET BLOWER IN THE ROOM ON ARRIVAL. called TWICE BEFORE MAINT REMOVED. Wake up call button did not work on the phone. called operator for wake up. Asked for 7 they called at 6:30. Very nice for the price. Executive breakfast was really nice but the room was small. The only real drawback was the executive lounge is not open on the weekends. Advertisement is a little misleading but no complaints otherwise.

Hotel needs updating. A/C unit in my room didn't work and the staff failed to adequately respond to the issue. I ended up getting very little sleep because I was too hot. We stayed here for the second year running (it is a convenient spot for us to stop distance-wise) and enjoyed some aspects. Particularly, my daughter (age 9) really enjoys the pool which is an indoor-outdoor combination. It is nice and allows a good swim from one end to the other. There is no hot tub though. Stayed on the executive floor. I recommend it because of the concierge lounge. Room was a double with full beds, another reason I took the floor, and they were comfortable. There was apparently an issue with the circulation and or power of AC in the room, but a fan was in place and blowing when we got there. And of course the cookies. Customer service was also top notch.

I am a Hilton Honors Gold member so I usually stay at Hilton properties. The hotel was quiet, staff was friendly and room clean. However, the property is showing its age and needs updating. The hotel is convenient to interstate 40 but the left turn into parking lot can take some time based on traffic. Exit back to Interstate 40 is easy.

I felt welcomed and appreciated during my visit. Receptionists made me feel as if I was the most important guest at the time. The meeting room was spacious and well equipped. During the time I was there the area was under tornado watch with tornado spotted in the area. Hotel personnel warned us of the threat and made sure that we were in a safe and secure area of the hotel.

the hotel was Average, other guess were very noisy, there was a tour bus. To get Ice, I had to ask where it was located. the directions did not indicate that it was on the second floor. Food service in the morning was very poor. Once we finally ordered, it took over 30 minutes to get the food. It was kid the servicer had to go back and cook the meal.

Stopped in and had no reservations but it was time to pull off for the night. Read reviews and made our choice based on that. The room was clean but for the price I think I could have found elsewhere to stay. The staff were friendly but for a Hilton I guess I expected more. e pool was gross. There was a film on the surface of the water and there were bird feathers on the water. We paid for the executive level was were not told that breakfast wouldn't be till 8 am. We have 2 small children who wake up around 6:30 and needed to eat. The breakfast was the whole reason I paid for the executive level. I am very dissatisfied with my stay and won't ever stay on a Double Tree again.

Not worth the money. Booked a king size and upon my arrive which was late I was giving two double beds. So I was basically giving what was left open and not booked. Staff were not very helpful no friendly. The room was not clean, sheets and towels had yellow spots on them.

Doubletree Jackson, where I've stayed before, is one of those places that immediately screams out to the guest - old, dated, I need some help! I have stayed here several times and have never had an issue until this trip. The bed frame stuck out and I rammed my leg on it twice and the bathroom sink was very slow draining. I am very very confident they will fix these problems.

I stayed in Room 136 at the end of the hall. I should have called ahead and told them to turn on the hot water so it would be warm by the time I got there. It was crazy, and very inconvenient in my effort to get away early in the morning. Otherwise, as others have noted, the facilities are a little tired. On the good side the restaurant/bar staff was very nice. For just an on-the-way one night stopover, I think maybe the Hampton or such would have been fine.

Although the the staff is still wonderful at this hotel, it was disappointing to me that handicapped needs aren't completely met. I had asked for a roll in shower and needed to be moved once I got in original room. They also knew I needed a comfortable chair to sleep in and that didn't happen. If you are in Jackson, find a different hotel to stay at. This one is run down, dirty and the staff didn't seem to care. I went to take a shower and a half eaten apple that had obviously been there for days fell out of the top of the shower curtain. Everyone traveling with my group had a bad experience during this stay. Each one of us had something different happen. One of my colleagues asked for clean sheets and the staff left them on the floor and didn't even put them on his bed.

Staff are very pleasant. Parking is free. It was under a mile from work. It offered a club room....but the breakfast in the AM was far beneath what I can get at a Hampton. Not impressed. My room was musty smelling...but I heard several several in the lobby saying the same and thus didn't bother messing with a room change. I will opt to try another hotel during the next trip down.

I checked in electronically to ensure they knew I was due to arrive around 3:30pm. However my room was not ready for 30 mins????? What was the point of checking in the day before??? Our stay was okay. With Hilton we expected more. We didn't have enough towels though they knew four were staying in the room, our room was not refreshed after the first night, etc. Overall the stay was just average.

The rooms are spacious and clean. Plenty of nearby shopping and food to choose from. In room internet was fast enough to accommodate laptop and phones for the adults and tablets with games for the kids. The warm chocolate chip cookies were a very nice touch.

Stayed one night for a conference and the hotel was full with a college reunion also at the same time. Check in was quick and was acknowledged as a HH member and assigned a first floor room. Room is not the usual rectangle but had an offset which made the room larger. Big flat screen tv, huge comfortable bed and very cool ac. Indoor and outdoor pool. Very friendly staff in the lobby, as well as the restaurant and conference spaces. Room was clean, spacious and updated. Attended conference on-site so the convenience of available rooms was appreciated!

Staff and experience top notch. We had a State convention on this weekend and we asked a lot of the housekeeping and maintenance staff and they performed much above expectations! I would recommend this hotel to any one pleasure or business!

I stayed at this hotel 3-year ago and I will say it has definitely upgraded the rooms. From the locks to the interior it was very European. Was here on business. Though it's not a high class hotel, it's still very nice. I've already stayed here again since this visit. The only down side is the parking. My business days ended late so I had to park in the back and walk around the building to get it.

This was our 2nd year staying at the Double Tree in Jackson for the Tn Mid year convention. It was a nice stay as was last year. We would stay here again when visiting the Jackson area. The Elks will be held there again next year.

Stayed there for a quick stay over. Did make reservations though. Hotel is nice looking on the outside. Old looking in the hallways. Room we're nice. This is always a good place to come to. Affordable when the other places in town are way over priced for the area. They have my business and have had for years. I come here at least each month for business and will stay here and enjoy some very good warm cookies while here.

The best sleep, I have had in a while. The bed is soooo comfortable and the pillows are a plus too. I slept well and sound. I loved the bed and the pillows Accommodations are nice and comfortable. The rooms are clean. The staff is very attentive and friendly.

This property is getting a bit dated. Not a clean, crisp feeling when you come into the room as furniture is becoming worn and weary. Bed was very comfortable and a large flat screen TV is featured...definately upgraded. Internet is slow.

Booked by customer. Excellent hotel with clean, well kept rooms with full amenities. Inclusive breakfast was really good served buffet style. Food in the evenings was good, served in the well maintained and run bar area. Only downside was the bar opening hours - not open when I finished work!!

I have stayed at this hotel before. While my previous stay was very good, this stay was EXCELLENT! The staff was well trained. The hotel lobby was pleasant to be in. The rooms were well kept. AND, there is an incredible fitness training room!!! NICE!! Also, this hotel is only a minute off the I-40. Keep up the excellent work!!! Tom

The rooms were clean, the staff was helpful, and the restaurant was good though prices were high. The breakfast buffet looked good but we opted to experience some of the other local cuisine options. I would stay here again.

Good exercise room. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff. My bed was starting to settle and I had a little trouble resting part of the night, but the room was great and definitely set up so I could get work done. Good Internet speed here.

The Doubletree in Jackson was an excellent place to rest during a week long business trip. Room was clean, everything was as expected. Restaurant offered a wonderful breakfast allowing for a quick start to the day.

I don't know what was going on in the area during my stay, but it was a nightmare just finding a parking spot. The interior was very antiquated, in dire need of some upgrades. The front desk staff was AWESOME! Very friendly and courteous. I partook in the breakfast buffet at the hotel restaurant. The staff there was not friendly at all. Unprofessional Staff that is not prepared to handle large parties even though arrangements were made months in advance. Not what you would expect form a Hilton owned company. Rooms were cleaned after 3pm daily. Towels and toiletries were not supplied to standards. Service in Restaurant was friendly, but extremely slow. I had a great stay at the doubletree for an overnight stay while I was attending an event for work. The staff was friendly, the check in was easy and quick. My room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The bed and pillows were comfy, the shower had great water pressure. The breakfast was $9 but was a buffet with plenty to choose from, and while not the best I've had, it was descent. I'd stay here again if I was in Jackson.

The room was dated and patched up with leftover guest items left under the bed. Hair in the bathroom shower has left over shower gel. Hotel was booked to capacity so no changes could be made or offered.

The front desk staff is extremely lovely and approachable. The dine-in restaurant staff was also very helpful and friendly. The maintenance men were professional and courteous. I cannot say the same for your housekeeping staff. When we arrived in the room for our honeymoon, the toilet was clogged and as a result dried fecal matter was impacted on the inside of the toilet. Upon arrival, digital key as a problem and the check-in ended up taking much longer than just getting normal keys. The suite we had was separated by two old doors that could not stay open, and slammed every time we moved from bed to living room. The doors were old looking and were worn out. I was extremely hesitant to book here but am glad I did. The front desk attendants, Ms Keviuanna and Ms Gabrielle, were both extremely personable and helpful. The rooms are recently remodeled so there arent any issues with wear and such. The matre'd in the restaurant was very helpful and personable. This is a great choice for western Tenn.
