I was in town for a friends wedding. The wedding was in downtown Chattanooga and the drive from the hotel was about 10-15 minutes and pretty much a straight shot into downtown. The hotel is clean and my room was on the third floor. It was right next to the elevator and every now and then you'd hear the elevator but it wasn't noticeable. It was only a small sound here and there. The doors could probably be better insulated and Thursday and Friday nights people were out in the hallway well pa... Read more

This hotel is a great location to be traveling through. Restaurants close by, and very convenient place to stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting family and friends. The staff very friendly with a touch of home feeling.

My husband and I were both disappointed in the quality of this hotel. Although it has been beautifully renovated, we both noticed our room door, along with several others, had gaps all around them. Unfortunately, this let in a great amount of noise. Our room was located several rooms away from the ice maker; however, we were woken several times during the night and early morning hours when it was being used. It should have been in it's own room. Also, we could clearly hear the people next... Read more

Overall, this hotel is wonderful. Clean rooms and great staff. The only downside is the sparse options for breakfast compared to other Hampton Inn hotels at which I have previously stayed. Regardless, the ability to relax despite a stressful weekend made everything worthwhile. Would recommend to others!

Stayed while on business in the Chattanooga area. Location is on the north end of the city. Hotel is recently renovated to the latest Hampton standards. Room was very clean and in nice condition. Bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. There are a few restaurants within a long walk, but not a lot. Breakfast was Hampton average, nothing special. All in all a nice stay and would certainly return.

Great hotel, very convenient to downtown Chattanooga, all Hilton properties were already booked. Room had been updated compared to other Hampton property we have stayed. Love the bathroom! Great staff! We did not eat B'fast although many were enjoying when we left. Would not hesitate to book again.

Great experience. We had the king suite. The room was clean and pretty. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and pretty too. Every part of the room seemed to had been upgraded. From the floors to the shower door! It included access to a gym, pool and a good breakfast. The breakfast was pretty good. I would stay here again and definitely recommend it

We were a group of 4 in town for our grand-daughter's sixth birthday. We enjoyed the Accomodations, cleanliness of the rooms, ease of check-in and check-out, and warm complimentary breakfast. Additionally, the value dollar for dollar was exceptional! Will definitely return when in town! Highly recommended!

This hotel is well maintained and comfortable. It was very clean and I had no problems with anything while staying here. It is convenient to highways and area attractions and restaurants. The daily breakfast was good and well stocked. The front desk was attentive and always helpful. I used the laundry facilities here as well as the pool. Everything I needed was here, including a fridge and microwave in the room.

Excellent reasonable and beautifully clean rooms, new rugs, small fridge and coffee in your room. The staff was very welcoming and attentive, breakfast was complimentary but it was all starches. Definitely a great spot with lovely accommodations which included a swimming , it was a nice oasis for weary ttravelers.

I stay in Hampton Inns often, and the Hinson Hampton Inn was below average for this hotel chain. First, the positive - the workers in the hotel were very friendly, especially the girl at the front desk. Now, the negative - the exercise room was pitiful. The breakfast was below average with very little variety. The dining area was too small. The Internet was really slow. Not that a Hampton Inn is a five star hotel, but I expect better than this hotel had to offer when compared to other Hamp... Read more

The staff are helpful and friendly. They offer the type of service you expect in a Hampton Inn. The only issue we had was the noise outside our room. We were located on the first floor near the elevator and the check in desk. People were making noise well into the night. There should be some control over this for the sake of all paying guests. I don't think this problem is unique to this hotel but I wished that it had been addressed. Avoid the rooms near the elevator on the first floor that are ... Read more

Our favorite part of staying at Hampton Inn is the luxurious and comfortable bedding. This one was impossible. Choice of cover was a sheet or a duvet/comforter that weighed so much it literally locked you in. I love the Hampton comforters but this one was over the top. Once you could lift it enough to put it on the bed and crawled under it, you were stuck. Very disappointed. If it ever got to the floor, it took a weight lifter to get it back on the bed.

We were looking forward to staying at the Hampton in Hixson TN for a weekend as my daughter was playing in a tennis tournament, only to be sorely disappointed after arrival. The foyer was ok, but the hall way getting to the elevator was so small that if you had to pass someone coming the other way you had to move or stand next to the wall so they could pass. They only had one elevator for the whole hotel and then once you got into your room, it was the same process. The entry way to the room was... Read more

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. When I travel I always stay at Hampton Inn's because they are always so clean and friendly. This one is centrally located. We needed a hotel to break our trip from Mississippi to Pigeon Forge and chose this Hampton. I have been a Hilton Honors member for many, many years and try to stay in their properties when we travel This Hamilton Inn is the nicest one we have stayed in. We have relatives living in the area and selected this hotel because recent reviews said the hotel had been updated. Other nearby hotels have become run-down. We were not disappointed. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to other family members.

We booked reservations as a Hilton honors member. HH made our reservations for 2 nights. When we arrived the staff said they only had room for one night, but she assured us there probably would be a cancellation. The next day that same staff person instructed us to leave our bags in the office & when we come back she should have a room ready for us. That's when someone on their staff went through my luggage & stole my medication.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights to attend a funeral that was held in the area. We would not normally stay at a Hampton (or equivalent) because as a light sleeper I am often bothered by noise that is a result of the lower end construction, and I also like a full-service hotel. But Hotels in this area are sparse, and we didn't want to drive from downtown or the airport area. Given that, I would rate this as an above average Hampton Inn, I just can't give an HI a 5-star rating. Specific ... Read more
