This was my first time to Gatlinburg, TN and the folks at White Oak Lodge & Resort made our stay wonderful! Both the grounds and condo were very well kept and it immediately felt like a home away from home. I went with a group of friends with their families and everyone loved the place. It is close enough to the major attractions and yet far enough away you can avoid the traffic you if want. Great place and people! We will be back for sure!

This was a quick getaway. We toured Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The cabin was lovely. All natural wood, beautifully furnished. Would very much recommend this place to stay for a trip to Gatlinburg.

Our extended family rented one of the two bedroom condo units as well as a three bedroom cabin. Please note that many of the cabins have steep stairs to the front door. We had one elderly person and several small children and this was an issue. The cabins themselves are nice. Downstairs is a smallish living/dining/kitchen area and the master suite. The tv is small but are you really going to the Smoky Mountains to watch tv? The resort itself is located miles from Gatlinburg proper so be warned t... Read more

We stayed in one of the condos and it was roomy and clean; they also have cabins. The king size bed in our room was very comfortable. The shower head in the master bath is mounted very high making it difficult for shorter people like me to reach the shower head for adjustments. (I'm 5'5".) The only real issue we had was the noise from the unit above. The people were not at fault as they were just walking around, running a bath, and doing normal activities, but there must not be much insulation i... Read more

The property had cabins and condos. We stayed in one of the condos. My only mistake was booking on the first floor. You can hear every foot step and sound up stairs and the kids up there really were playful. I have already booked one of the cabins for next year as this place is "Beautiful". The noise of the condos did not over take the otherwise clean, comfortable and well kept Resort. (With all that said the Resort really need to solve that noise problem in the first floor condos.)

Just stayed with our family. The owners are wonderful! The place is very clean and kid friendly! The pool and hot tub are so relaxing! Loved sitting on the porch listening to nature all day long! The views are beautiful! Really enjoyed the condos the beds were so comfy and the kitchen had everything just like home! We can't wait to stay in the cabins too! You are so close to Gatlinburg but you don't feel the hustle and bustle of the town! Thanks Charlie for sharing your home place with our fami... Read more

My family stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bath cabin. Beautiful cabin. I didn't know what to expect after reading a few of the reviews because some people said it was noisy in the condo. I didn't have this experience being in a cabin. It was peaceful and beautiful. The office staff was extremely helpful upon our arrival especially because there was a loss in communication between the company we booked through and the facility itself. The area is a little farther from town then the kids would have liked ... Read more

Nicely kept well set-up cabins in a great location. Great for families (size, cabin layout, etc). They have chairs on the porch for morning coffee and grills available for a nice evening at home. Staff was very nice. There was a note book in the room with neat ideas from prior guests. The only somewhat issue is they are allowing the carpenter bees to take over the porch of the cabins. They generally don't bother you, but they are damaging the units and annoying at times.

Our 2nd time here and it just keeps getting better! Perfect location and beautiful cabins! Beautifully furnished with granite countertops, newer appliances, pool table, etc. Far enough from chaos of downtown Gatlinburg, but close enough for all hikes, and only 20 minutes from Pigeon Forge. Between hiking, zip lining, Dollywood and rafting, we were never at a loss for activities! Cards on the porch at night. Definitely plan on returning next year! Couldn't ask for more! Definitely returning ag... Read more

We stayed for 2 weeks and had a wonderful vacation. The cabins are fantastic, by far the nicest cabins we've ever stayed in. They have just about everything you need for your stay. We had a one bedroom and it was really nice. Big bedroom and bath with separate shower and whirlpool tub. The kitchen was good sized and the living room and dining room were large enough for 4 people. Screened in back porch with chairs and hot tub. The front porch has a couple of rocking chairs. It was great to... Read more

If you want authentic not touristy travel accommodations this is a must. Several smilie mountain national park entrances very close. Grocery store and family dollar close. Maintenance if needed very responsive. The website does this resort no justice. Tennis courts, basketball court, and swimming pool. You will see bunnies hopping in the morning and at dusk. Good for the entire family or romance.

This property is the best in Gatlinburg. The cabins alone make it so nice you wont want to leave. Private Jacuzzi and pool table in cabin a huge bonus for sure. Location prime. Close enough to shopping in downtown but not so close that the noise drowns out the relaxation this property offers.

We rented two cabins for one week through our vacation club, Global Connections. I am never sure what to expect when we do this (though I must say that I have never been disappointed so far) but this resort was very, very nice. The cabins were great. The two-bedroom even had a pool table, which the grandchildren loved. The cabins were very clean and everything was modern and up-to-date. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need, including a crock pot and a blender. i would defi... Read more

We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin for a week to enjoy the Smoky Mountains. While the cabins were a bit of a drive outside of town, they were well worth it! The cabin itself was sparkling clean and very comfortable. The location was very peaceful. Even though it was late in the season, we were able to see a few lightning bugs when we sat out on either the open front or enclosed back porch in the evenings. Gas grills are provided, making it convenient to feed teenagers on a budget! Definitely a... Read more

The log cabin is amazing. Beautifully decorated and it has a hot tub. There also is a swimming pool. Peaceful area. Angela in the office is very accommodating. You can get tickets through her for different venues. About seven miles from downtown area.

We have been coming here for several years with our timeshare. The place is very nice and well kept. Not in the center of the commotion but close enough to get into Gatlinburg in 15 minutes depending on traffic. The staff is very friendly and always helpful if needed. We will Continue to come here any time we want a mountain getaway.

My daughter and I stayed here for one week through my vacation club, Global Connections. Truly enjoyed our stay at this resort, the cabin was so nice, clean and up to date. We felt right at home here, we walked around the resort every morning a very pleasant and safe environment. Went to the pool area almost everyday and used the hot tub in our cabin as well to relax. I visited here on a "girls" trip in August 2016. We stayed in the condos and found them to be very nice. While the lodge is a bit far out, that can be a positive if you prefer a quiet scenic setting. Our condo was a large two bedroom, two bath unit and was plenty spacious and well furnished. it was not extremely well stocked on essentials, so you might want to bring extra towels, dishwasher detergent, etc.

We visited a couple of years ago with our young daughter and we came back again this year with another little one in tow. We stayed in 150 this time, which is a 3 bedroom that backs up to the woods. What can we say? This place is just wonderful. It's impeccably clean. Really super clean. There's nothing much to complain about for us, but some may consider a couple things negative so I'll give a quick rundown: PROS: -Wonderful pool and hot tub -They've thankfully added a few more things to the ...
