My husband and I booked 1 night here to start our weekend in the Smoky Mts. I was surprised at the size of this resort and the amount of people in the lobby at all hours. I didn't enjoy the ploy to try and sale us one of their condos by giving a "VIP" package upgrade. But, the staff is very friendly. After sitting in a long line of cars to enter the resort, we made it to our room. It was small and smelled old and musty. But if you have a family the market inside the lobby would be a convenient ... Read more

This may be a good deal for some but be prepared. Studio room located in basement setting very small, small bed up against wall, your neighbors can do laundry at 6am on a Sunday, kids can be heard throughout entire building. No view, 3 hour intense sales pitch to sell you a room every other year for $20,000 plus $650 anual maintenance. Ok but no.

We expected a relaxing getaway, however this is not what we received. Shortly after arriving we had to change rooms due to an issue with the building that could not be resolved. We were moved into a room which did not even have a view, only a small window in the corner of the bedroom and a non private entrance since it was a grouping of adjoining rooms. The walls were so thin and lacked any type of sound barrier, and gaps around the doors to the adjoining rooms that we had nights until 1-2 in th... Read more

Out dated resort paper thin walls. I could here every scream from the child next door and the inconsiderate parent who egged the child on. We complained which solved nothing. The room backed to a major road which was great the woosh of the cars almost sound like the ocean if you close your eyes and pretend. This place was a waste of money and time not the anniversary we had hoped for. There has to be better places to stay around here.
