This room will take you back to when you were a kid vacationing with your parents. Room was nice, big and clean. Sink in the bathroom area and outside the bathroom, which is nice when you have people trying to get ready at the same time. Balcony was an added bonus. The pool and kiddie pool were not open when we were there, so can not vouch for that. We only used their breakfast once, standard continental breakfast but they did have Krispy Kreme donuts- YUM! Walking distance to most things ... Read more

Pros:The hotel has a great location. They offer a very basic breakfast. Cons: The internet does not work. Included in the price of the room, but useless. They have Plastic under the bed sheets. Sweaty!! Each time the toilet was flushed , it made a loud squealing noise, that lasted about 20 minutes ,my husband called and requested maintenance, about 10 at night , we had been out all day, but he was told they were not available ,The desk asked him to t... My husband and I styed here for 3 nights in May. walking distance to boardwalk, Ober tramway. the staff at front desk very pleasant and informative. Yes the rooms are dated but plenty big and there is a balcony over looking the pool it served the purpose for us, they had just replaced the mattress. We would stay here if we returned.

The staff was very nice, room was good for the price. The air conditioning cover was left off but the service desk fixed the issue immediately. The front desk was helpful with things to do in the area. I recommend asking them for fun things to do.

It was all good, the front desk lady was very nice, and cheerful....price was not bad, the location was good - walking probably 1 block to walk to parkway strip, less than that to eat at Bennett's BBQ, big daddy's pizza and Texas Roadhouse. The rooms were big, and roomy and it was quiet, balcony overlooked the pool. We didn't do the continental breakfast ...........We will stay again Our stay was Jun 10-12 2016

My boyfriend and I stayed there last week for 6 nights. The staff was wonderful and the stay was pleasant. We had a room with a jacuzzi and the only drawback was the area in which the toilet sat. It was a little cubby hole with no room on either side. Other than that, everything else was fine. Plain, simple rooms. Nothing fancy but it was clean and air conditioned which is all I needed since I was barely there.

We found that this hotel had a 2 bedroom suite with a full kitchen and stayed here for significant savings over renting a mountain cottage, and we're glad we did... Staff was all very friendly, not just southern hospitality friendly. They must be the owner & operator, they made you feel like a guest. Beds were comfortable, linens were clean/not worn out, bathroom/kitchen were clean. Pool is a saltwater pool! Very clean and relaxing, we spent significant time in it every day. However, there i... It was a nice clean room and the desk was very helpful. It was close and could catch the trolley. It was very handicapped accessible and so was the trolley. Hotel and town was fantastic. Book your room early as a lot of times they are full. There is a river right across the street where locals were fishing.

Hotel is older, but was clean and very basic. Located at the far south end of town which is convenient when you want to drive into the mountains. Parking can be rough when the hotel is sold out. Loved having a sink/vanity outside of the bathroom. Very limited breakfast choices. Very small TV in room (if that is important to you)

If you're not picky and are looking for a budget friendly room, this motel is a good choice. Pros - excellent location (walking distance to all of main gatlinburg strip), spacious room, extra vanity and sink outside bathroom, free parking (1 car per room), friendly staff, balcony Cons - limited breakfast choices (only "cold" options - bagel, muffin, cereal, banana, donut, toast, oatmeal packets), low quality shampoo and no conditioner (bring your own!!)

I will start by saying I didn't stay here. The reason for my review is that the gentleman who was working the front desk on Labor Day Weekend was wonderful. For whatever reason the hotel we were going to stay at lost our reservation and after driving nearly 6 hours (with 3 kids) we were without a hotel on Labor Day weekend. We stopped here asking if they had any vacancy, and of course being a busy weekend they were completely booked. After explaining what happened, the front desk clerk was v... Read more

I was going to come down to the GSMNP for a few days of hiking. I booked 3 days with this hotel at a special rate thru tripadvisor.com. But I had to cancel due to personal illness. The person I spoke with on the phone wasnt the most friendly person ive ever spoke with. I was advised I would be charged 15 percent of the final bil which even with tax came out to 264 dollars. When I received my credit card statement, I had been charged 67 dollars. Maybe my math skills are bad, but the math doesnt a... Read more

Motel was older one but was fine. We had a good stay with family. We stayed in a suite and had 10 of us. Everything went well. The kids really enjoyed the salt water pool. The breakfast was fine. The motel is close to Downtown Gatlinburg.

We travel to Gatlinburg three times a year. We stay at various hotels within the town. This was our first stay with this hotel and by far the best yet ! The staff here are very courteous and very informed. This hotel gives you easy access to all activities surrounding Gatlinburg. I would recommend this hotel to friends and relatives and the cost was great too.

I had another nice visit to this hotel and found out that it was recently bought-out. The previous owner was wanting to sell the property for years, and a big renovation is being planned. The new owner is expected to spend a great deal of money on the property and be completed around spring-time.
