Overall the hotel itself was pretty good, it is under new construction. The front desk staff was nice to deal with, but the issue was with one of the housekeepers. We forgot some change on the dresser (there was NO tip envelope for this) and when we came back she had taken the money, and she also did not change the sheets that had pizza sauce on them from the night before. I can honestly deal with the sheet issue, but I can't condone anyone taking anything of mine that I have left in the room, e... Read more

We were so thrilled with the location of this hotel in relation to everything we wanted to do in Gatlinburg! So much stuff to do with in walking distance! Having a fridge in the room was excellent also. I was surprised to see there was not a table in the room though

We decided to stay another night in Gatlinburg but our cabin was already rented out so we found this little place online. The reservation process was super easy and the staff was extremely helpful and sweet. The Wi-Fi is terrible, though! When you're 14 hours from home, you want to be able to communicate with them without using your data. Having a refrigerator was a plus but lacking a microwave was a negative. We could see that there have been some updates to the units but the toilet wasn't fast... Read more

Staying in town to meet up with some family, not ideally the time of year that we like to travel. So we found something cheap, and this was not only cheap but was worth the stay!!! You are close enough to walk to a lot of things or ride the trolley.

The hotel was just ok. Not terrible but not good. Weird smell. Very basic old furniture and absolutely nothing on the walls. Old box tv. And curtains were falling down. Didn't try the breakfast. Carpet was brand new. VERY loud you could hear everthing going on in the next room. Had to wait 10 minutes for someone to come check us in. Not sure we would stay agin. But with that being said the price was really low so it was a good value. The room was clean and the beds were really comf... Read more

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel could benefit by being updated with new curtains and carpet, but overall it was clean, at a very good price. It's a good location for walking downtown.

My son and I stayed here for 2 nights. The staff was friendly and courteous. The room was clean and what I expected for the price. My son had a blast in the pool. Located just minutes from almost everything!

what was good about this hotel...staff and location were very good. real cute mountain church across the road. view from upper level on one side was nice. not enough outside chairs to sit on the balcony with others. now the not so liked thing was the breakfast offered. real real real real cheap in the breakfast department. ALL carbs no fruit no eggs no protein of any kind. people with diabetes are not considered at all here. for the amount of people staying here you would almost think it would ... Read more

This is your average budget hotel, located a few mins walk from the main drag. The corner suit we had was big, clean and had right amount of tables, chairs furniture etc. There was ample parking available and the pool was decent sized. Free breakfast in the morning isnt stella by any means, but basic enough to have a quick bite early and off to your daily activity. If you rely on Wi-Fi it is really slow here, this would be a gripe for anyone who traveling through. All in all for the price of bei... Read more

I was very disappointed in this hotel. The room smelled like smoke. There were holes in the furniture. The bathroom needed a good cleaning and there is a crack in the bottom of the bathtub. I sat on the end of the bed and the other end went up. The beds were old and wobbly. The saddest part was that we could hear the other guest in their rooms through the walls complaining about their room too. This hotel was suppose to have WiFi but we were not able to use it. I stayed several nights with my family mid June. The hotel rooms and pool were satisfactory for the price. The overall problem with the hotel is the staff. The front desk clerks were rude to say the least yet MOST IMPORTANT...there are staff members that either live on property or maybe just staying yet I witnessed drug transactions with these staff twice outside my door, the staff members had people in and out of their room all night and the people visiting were often drunk or 'high' which made... Least expensive of all the over priced places to stay. The rooms were clean enough. About 3/4 mile walk to the town center. puts this hotel in a different spot. It was not .02 from downtown. it was actually 1.2 miles from that wrong address. The room was booked and wouldn't have been if it was known it wasn't where it was listed. A little slow at check in. I heard one guy say there was someone in the room he was given sleeping lol. WIFI was free but you cant use it. Too many people ... Read more

We ended up at Parkview Inn & Suites because they were the lowest rate on The turn in to the hotel is tricky because of location on a curve and there was limited parking between two buildings full of rooms. There was a working elevator right off of the parking lot that took us to the second floor. On special requests, I asked for no higher than 2nd floor due to an elderly family member on the trip and they did honor the request. Check in person was not particularly friendly but ... Read more

Walking distance to all the action. Clean room. Friendly staff. We booked last minute on a holiday weekend and the staff made it extremely easy. LeighAnn was very helpful and accommodating, and we really appreciate that. Quiet. Pet friendly. We will stay here again.

Stayed here with family. We had 3 separate rooms. 2 of us had to be moved. The smoke smell will make you sick. It is musty, damp, and moldy. We had bubbles of water in the walls. There was a constant inch of water in the bathroom floor. My sister in law had birds in her room. Trash was piled by our room for days (not ours) The employees smoked pot in the vacant room next to us the entire time. The police were called and several of the arrested while we were there. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! It is a budget hotel, so we didn't expect luxury. Our room was upgraded when the guy at the front desk found out it was our honeymoon. The hotel is being renovated so you could see construction materials on the property. Our room had a king sized bed (which was very comfortable) and a Jacuzzi tub (which we loved). There was a mini fridge, dresser and chair... no table. The shower had been renovated and looked very nice. It was clean and there were ... Read more

I booked this room for 2nd/3rd week in July as a budget friendly choice for 4 nights. Location and view were wonderful overlooking the town of Gatlinburg (especially the nice aquarium and space needle). We could walk anywhere we wanted in Gatlinburg. We planned to stay here for a couple of days but had to cut the stay short. While still sleeping on the first morning we had a knock at our door, before we could get to it a man proceeded to open the door. As soon as he noticed someone was in there he said "oh sorry didn't think anyone was here". We then reported it to the front desk. They came right up, found the person and came back to our room. We then find out he was their maintenance man. We had not reported any problems, he did not have an... Read more

Upon check in I was told that the two specific rooms I has reserved a year ago (I was the first person to make reservations for that day and had to have manager's approval) were given away and there was nothing she could do about it. This hotel is very budget friendly. The WiFi is bad; we stayed in room 305, above the lobby, so we weren't on the distant side of the complex, and we couldn't get a signal. We come to Gatlinburg every summer and we always stay at the Parkview Inn. We actually stayed at this location when it was a Howard Johnson. Last year, the hotel seemed a little run down but this year it was so bad, it was almost funny. Rooms smelled. Elevators dirty with cigarette butts on the floor outside. Pool was cloudy and dirty. We found this place online for $60 a night on a last minute trip, so we got the cheap price we paid for basically (although apparently it costs a lot more if you don't do it online). Smelled weird, no towels (they had to give us a limit of 2 pool towels due to the laundry facility being down - they were stained), beds seemed dirty, bathroom smelled bad and was so disgusting I had to shower in my flipflops - I do not recommend. Other than the room issue I really don't see a problem with this hotel. Desk service is great and the rooms are nice and clean. Will deffinetly be staying here more often.

Location is at end of shops. Rooms were ok. But, signing in guests were given room keys to rooms already occupied. Associates at desk were very rude and not helpful at all, except for the gentleman on the night shift. Breakfast was in a very tiny room that needed a good cleaning. We had 2 rooms in August. Never again! Wifi was very poor.

This hotel needs a total upgrade or demolition. The curtains are so old they are not secure on the rod, do not meet in the middle and leave a space on the ends if you do get them to meet. One night we returned to no water. The person working on it was not a plumber and apologized profusely to everyone. The room was small and dingy. Wi fi was available but was horrible. We will not stay here again.
