After the wildfires, we picked old creek lodge for location and the rustic décor. Both of those were perfect and up to expectations. The staff was very friendly. The furnishings are perfect for the mountain experience and comfort and convenience. The room was very clean as were the stairways, lobby and 'common areas'. The breakfast was Ok but the room is very small and only 2 tables and bar seating if you want to stare at a wall. There are additional tables in the lobby area and nice rockers fo... Read more

My husband and I are lying in bed laughing because we have been calling this place the old boom lodge since we visited months ago. Every time we hear a loud bang we are reminded of our horrible 1 night stay! Everything was fine- yes kind of hard beds, they should get mattress toppers, but clean, cabiny, lovely balconies and serene stream views and noises. BUT there is 100% no way you can sleep here. Literally, and I timed it bc i was awake the whole night, every 30-45 mins the loudest noise imag... Read more

We just returned from our second adventure in Gatlinburg and our 2nd stay at the Old Creek Lodge. We love it. The staff are very friendly and service oriented. The rooms are cozy with a gas fireplace and a mountain stream right outside your verandah. Warm Cookies and Hot Apple Cider every afternoon in the lobby. Great value and excellent location where you can walk to everything. Great for families looking for a long weekend getaway!

Nice, clean hotel. Our room was a bit expensive, but we booked late during high season so I guess that??s what you get. The room was beautiful, with very nice rustic-style furniture, a Jacuzzi and a fireplace (although we really didn??t need all that stuff, as we were barely in the room). We appreciated the hardwood floors in the room, which is cleaner than carpet.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here! We had the spa king suite, which was really nice with the tub and fireplace. Only downside was that it was right near the elevator but the actual bedroom part of the room was set back away from it so it didn't bother us at all. Breakfast was good, but the room was small and filled up FAST so if you're going to take advantage, go early. Staff was friendly and very helpful - we got lots of good suggestions for restaurants and attractions. We had ori... Read more

This is the ONLY hotel that we stay at when visiting Gatlinburg. The suites/rooms are beautiful, updated, with NO CARPET, and VERY CLEAN! We love the creek that you can view from your balcony or listen to while sitting next to the fireplace. We never ate the free breakfast, but why would you? Your in Gatlinburg.... go get some pancakes! HOUSEKEEPING!!! They HOOKED A GIRL UP with the makeup remover wipes! We always had plentiful towels, baths items and our room was cleaned well. We will ... I loved, loved, loved this place. Everything new and clean but rustic just as you would expect to find in Gatlinburg. Log trimmed furniture beautifully decorated. We stayed in an executive two queen bedroom. It was a large room with a fireplace and jacuzzi. This room overlooked the creek. The shower was oversized and tiled beautifully. The vanity sink in the bathroom was granite along with tile floors. Bath and Bodyworks toiletries provided. The lobby provided homemade cookies and apple cider ... Read more

My husband and I were in town for a weekend trip. Our usual places to stay were all booked up (or too expensive). I had noticed Old Creek Lodge in passing and decided to give it a try. First off, for two nights, it was $100 cheaper than the other place we usually stay. When we arrived, the check in staff was very friendly and gave us all the information we needed to know as first time guests. Pros: the room was very spacious, it had hardwood flooring rather than carpet, a nice walk in shower,... Read more
