I stayed for two nights on a hiking trip. This was a repeat visit. The hotel is one of the least expensive in Gatlinburg, so my expectations were low. The hotel is very basic, the breakfast does not have very much and there is virtually no room to sit down to eat. No pool, or work out room. All I wanted was a clean room and WiFi, so my expectations were met. However the hotel is showing its age, and looks to need a renovation. My next visit, I would consider spending more to have more am... Read more

Bed was hard and very uncomfortable. Room was very small and old. Breakfast didn't look good at all so we had to go out for food. Wasn't the cleanest. Front desk girl was very sweet though. Was close to shops and restaurants. I wouldn't recommend.

Great and Friendly staff! My only complaint is the bathroom needed some repairs, but was still great room for us!

I only stay at clean hotels, I have stayed numerous times at the Microtel location in Gatlinburg and they have never failed to live up to their promise of a good clean room.

The first night they forgot to change our bedding as requested. Room was small but we came for sight seeing and we never woke up in time for breakfast

The location of hotel is excellent for walking downtown Gatlinburg! The price was fantastic. The only problem was the mattress was horrible in room 112. We sunk to a deep hole in the middle. And the air conditioner made so many different loud noises.

When we go to Gatlinburg we always stay here. We love that it is right by the Space Needle and in the middle of everything. My only complaint would be it needs updated, but it is always clean. Also the halls are very hot and that's rough when you are coming in from the heat. I am also very hot natured so that may have something to do with it. Anyways this is our 10th year staying here.

The hotel condition was markedly improved from last year! Great work! And the location is perfect! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!!

Only quality of this place is location--across street from Convention Center! Room not clean; TV did not work consistently; electrical plugs/outlets broken. The website pictures do not realistically describe the facility. Surprised that it is aligned with Wyndham.

It was the perfect location for our visit. Centrally located with free parking. However I was disappointed in the cleanliness of this location. The carpets in the hallways needed cleaning. The carpet and upholstery in my room needed same treatment. The bed was very comfortable. Overall hotel needs a facelift.

Convenient but old and run down. Needs updated. Needs remodeled. The halls and elevator smelled like poop.

This motel is no Hyatt or Holiday Inn. It is more like a mom & pops style motel. The rooms are outdated but clean. you get a microwave and mini refrigerator, a tub, and t.v that often loses signal. We stayed there while looking for a house on 3 separate visits to Gatlinburg. Walking distance to Bubba Gump's Shrimp restaurant, the sky lift, space needle, Ober Gatlinburg cable cars, Moonshine tasting and a strip full of shops, restaurants, other attractions etc... This has become our go to hotel for a weekend getaway. The location makes it perfect for us. We love that we can walk anywhere on the main strip in Gatlinburg. The rooms are small and they aren't fancy, but they are clean. We don't need much space because we are not spending that much time in our room. If you are looking for a convenient place to sleep and you won't be spending a lot of time in your room this is perfect. The staff is always friendly as well. We have stayed here around four or fi... Room was adequate for price paid. It is smaller but it is a MICROtel. The only real complaint I had was no HOT water. It was lukewarm at best. Front desk made it out to be lots of rooms had multiple kids staying for competition across street at convention center but still... Hot water is a must in my opinion. No offer of even a partial refund. Kinda dissatisfied by that but otherwise was alright. Awesome location. Walking to strip was very convenient but you were off the main drag which was nice... Each floor hallway was very hot & smelled like smoke. The elevator smelled like sewage all the time. There was no microwave, to flush toilet paper we had to hold the handle down to flush completely. Rooms were a bit on the small size, no blankets or comforter on the bed. Ceiling in the bathroom look like it had some water damage & they tried to cover up & the towels & washcloths were very thin. Room was very clean.

Wife and I took a quick 3 day 2 night trip to Gatlinburg and was looking for a cheap place to stay. Room was very clean and staff was friendly. Was very close to the main area so we were able to walk everywhere in town.

We went on vacation needed pet friendly motel so the room was a bit small the bathroom exhaust fan sounded like it was about ready to fall out of the ceiling the carpet was dirty it looked OK but when you walked on it in bare feet the bottom of your feet would be black they do allow pets but they have NO PLACE to walk your pet the people who own it or work there did not speak English very well but they were very nice. When we got there it was about 4pm and the room was not ready.

I actually got more here than expected , the room may be a bit smaller than some but it was just the two of us and all we wanted was a clean room and a hot shower because we spend most of our time out doing and seeing things, Well it was not all that small, I had my bike leaning on the wall on one side of the bed and could still walk around, the bed was great, and the shower was hot and had good water pressure. some of the parking is under the hotel and this was great for parking in the shade .S... The room was a decent size for 2 people. But you could tell it was a "smoking" hotel. The worst part was the plug outlets were scary...one outlet didn't have a cover on it and our phone charges kept falling out. Wasn't a "tight" fit. Nearly a fire hazard! It was nice of them to let us check in early for an extra $40. It's a decent hotel just for a place to sleep, nothing overly fancy. Nice location, in walking distance of everything. Not sure I would stay here again though.

The elevator smelled like something had died in it. It was horrid, and obviously the owners noticed they put a air freshener up in it. The room was clean however and the staff was pleasant. This hotel allows smoking, though they have non-smoking rooms the smell of smoke is everywhere. Its is relatively centrally located and a quick jot to the Starbucks. I probably will not stay here again, though.

I read many of the reviews before going there, and it wasn't as bad as I expected. We had a suite and it was comfortable and clean, with good proximity to Gatlinburg attractions. Unfortunately that's about as good as it gets. The rooms were very small, with little soundproofing. The breakfast was regrettable. We didn't come with high expectations, and they were largely met.

Pet room.. good .. clean smelled good.. agree elevator and hall smelled like smoke.. room next to me had 5 chihuahuas that woke us up several times... staff apologized, but that don't get my sleep back.... bfest was free and that's what you get for free, not much.. staff was nice, location is great... would have been 4 stars if not for the smoke everywhere and heard of chihuahuas in the room next door..

My first visit was this past weekend. I was attending a convention across the street at the convention center. This hotel was PERFECT for my needs. It was CLEAN, QUIET and had the best view IMO from the third floor. Parking is underneath in the "parking garage/carport". Small parking area but it makes a sort of a loop around so you can go down & come back up if needed but it's fairly easy to get in/out of the parking area. There's also an elevator that goes from the parking area all the way up t... Read more

Even though you can tell the motel is a bit older and outdated, our room was very comfortable and bathroom very good with nice hot showers. The price was right, and it was right near the main throng of things, but far enough away to be quiet.
