Request these creek view rooms. Also best to get one with King rather than 2 queens unless you don't mind being crowded. Fireplaces available too. It was so dark and so quiet, we both slept very late--good thing we had no schedule. Nice breakfast area with windows and outdoor seating too. We've stayed here many times and highly recommend it.

This is a nice place to stay as it's in a quieter section of downtown Gatlinburg. It is clean, the staff is attentive and the breakfast buffet each morning is extensive, with a lovely lady taking care of any of your breakfast needs. We will most definitely stay here again on our next visit to Gainburg-Pigeon Forge.

My husband and I stayed here for a night this past weekend. I had booked a king suite with fireplace, jacuzzi tub and balcony overlooking the creek. The room was very nice (a little on the small side, but perfect for just 2 people). The room was clean and comfortable and met our needs perfectly. Front desk staff were very friendly and the location of the hotel was perfect for our needs. We did not utilize the free breakfast or use the pool so I can't speak for either of those. We stayed at this Hampton Inn from May 30th, 2016 to June 3rd, 2016. We chose this hotel based on price and location. We planned on spending all of our time in the park so we wanted a hotel close to the park entrance. Our room was clean and well kept. There was a fireplace, mini fridge, microwave and a tv. There was also a hairdryer in the bathroom. Our bed was comfortable but I didn't care for the pillows. A little too soft for my liking. Our room overlooked the creek running behind the hotel... We were in Gatlinburg for a meeting and stayed at another motel as it was a part of a package. As soon as the meeting was over we moved to the Hampton Inn and got a very nice room with a balcony overlooking a rushing stream. The room was of average size, with a good mattress, TV, free WiFi and a fireplace (which worked well). The bathroom was adequate. There was lots of parking, including some in-doors, which is meaningful in Gatlinburg. Our favorite restaurant (the Melting Pot) was only s... Read more

As always, Hampton delivered! Clean, safe, quite and located steps from the cable car to Ober Gatlinburg on the main strip. The pool area was great -- fairly private (unlike some other Gatlinburg hotels) and located by a stream. The breakfast was good and we saved money by taking advantage of it. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating. Other Gatlinburg hotels look somewhat dated and not well maintained but this hotel was the total opposite. This hotel has a good location along the main street in Gatlinburg and only a short distance to the Smoky Mountain National Park. Parking is free but the spaces are a bit tight. This hotel was extremely clean, well-maintained and comfortable. ALL of the bedding had been cleaned and more than one person was involved in the process, not just one person and a cart. Not a lot of walking room in the rooms, as the beds took up a lot of space, but that really didn't bother me or my friend. The bathrooms were a bit small, not overly so, but clean and well-lit. Great location on the gatlinburg strip. Rooms are on the smaller side but manageable even with a family staying in the same room. The Hampton Inn was located towards the end of the 'strip' in Gatlinburg. The hotel was nice and the complementary breakfast was good. Items changed everyday. The food was hot, and good. Hampton Inns always have great beds and decent breakfasts. This one also had a lovely creek outside our balcony. However, this is an older one which has tried through remodeling to be competitive. Specifically, their spa tub has a high side, which means you have to raise your legs higher than normal. In addition, there were no grab bars. Further updating is suggested for safety reasons.

I stayed at this property with my husband for two days in two different rooms. This Inn has 2 buildings and all the rooms have outside entry to your room. The first day (Tuesday) was good. Our room was creek facing on the second floor. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Complimentary breakfast is included and had a good selection of both hot and cold options. We then checked out as we thought we would be leaving town. As it turned out we didn't so I booked a room at this sa... Read more

Stayed at Gatlinnburg Hampton...and had a very pleasant stay. Very clean, and quiet we were on 3rd floor, facing parking lot. Free Breakfast, one of the very best, hot tasty, clean. Kept well stocked. Many options hot or cold I do not know what more you could ask for. . My only complaint would be, I did not like the Coffee supplied in the room, my husband was ok with it so maybe it was just me lol. The Pool was very clean, towels supplied. Great Breakfast. Very Clean Rooms. Nice clean heated pool, plenty of parking, I even utilized the Fitness Room, which also was very good. Would stay here again, I somehow or another was able to get a rate much lower than advertised, which made the stay even better.

It was ok. Nothing to write home about. We were upgraded to a river view room - the river is actually a small stream on the side of the hotel and right on the other side was a busy street. Not very pleasant to sit on the balcony at all. The pool and hot tub looked nice but didn't use either one. The room was tiny. Not fit for more than two people. There was a microwave and fridge. The ice machine was broken on our floor. The staff was very friendly and the free breakfast was pretty good with a l... Read more

The staff was friendly and helpful with a special request. The complimentary breakfast was good. Everything was fresh and kept refreshed. The breakfast area was clean and pleasant. The rooms have outside access and balconies. The pool is outside. The rooms were clean. My only issue was there were a couple of things around the facility that could be spruced up a bit. We had a lampshade with two rips. Not major but detracts from the positives. Location is within walking distance to restaurants and... Read more

Hotel is located about two blocks from the national park. Perfect for what we wanted. Beautiful part of the world. The front desk people were great. Recommend restaurants and must see sights. Very clean. Nice size rooms. If you've ever been to Branson then you know what Gatlinburg is like. But we went for the mountains and it was worth the trip. Don't miss the the Ober lift and do the chair lift to the top of the mountain.

A Circ 1960's repurposed building in a vacation Hot Spot. Room doors open to dim walkways, doors shut poorly, A/C is so loud you cannot hear TV. OLD OLD OLD, yet $$$$. This place has the appearance of a $30 room near at an interstate exit in the "bad" part of town. HILTON is taking advantage of customers by putting their name on this run-down property.

Our first trip to Gatlinburg and we opted to stay with a trusted hotel chain. For those unfamiliar with the area, this hotel is located on the MAIN street in Gatlinburg, it was very busy with a lot of road and foot traffic, especially at night. The hotel parking lot is tricky to get into, and parking is minimal, Id recommend walking during the evenings versus moving your car so you don't lose your parking spot. Very nice outdoor whirlpool for soaking sore muscles from hiking in the Great Smokey Mountain Natl Park. The Hampton was fully booked with visitors to see the autumn leaves. We always stay at Hampton Inns as they offer great service. We read the reviews of this Hampton Inn and knew there were deficits. We did like the location as we did not have to drive to restaurants or stores. We did know our room would be small - and it was quite small. We found it interesting that private balconies were touted for all rooms. We did not want to pay the much higher price to stay in the few that "overlooked" the creek so our balcony was a view of the parking lot. That was ok... Read more

Good location. Disappointed in the size of the room compared with other Hampton Inn locations for the price! This location was built in 1990-1991 with the room size standard for the time. Now, today, add two queen size beds and there isn't much room left for a cozy chair even the desk adjustable chair. To me, it wasn't worth the rate charged. The rate was probably base upon the Fall Foliage time of year. Also, they need to upgrade their towels. They were small, thin and rough. Breakfast,... Read more

I ask on 3 different occasions to have it cleaned and still had bugs and cobwebs. Never again will I stay here and the price was expensive. The sign stated on the counter that if unhappy or dirty rooms then no charge. That was not true. They gave us one free night and still the problems was not resolved.

Room was nice on the second floor with a nice little balcony you could sit out on and listen to the babbling creek running down below.
