The location of the hotel is at the end and around the corner from the main parkway. We did walk most of the time, but it may be just too far for someone with mobility issues to do this. The grounds are landscaped very nicely and the stream was amazing. We had cottage #170, which was actually sandwiched in between the hotel buildings, and not as private or quiet as we had hoped. I don't think the curtains had been washed in years. The main issue we had is that we were getting bit by somethin... Read more

I really enjoyed my stay. I just wish they would update the rooms. There were stains on the chairs, ceiling looked terrible, the doors were very dated and stained, and the room smelled very moldy. They offer gas grill to use but does not work unless you have matches...well not everyone smokes or carries matches on them all the time. If that's what they require please tell someone up front. We have stayed here for years. We opted to stay in Townsend this year and come into Gatlinburg for our last night before heading home. The gentleman that took our reservation must've paid till attention to what I said. We were traveling with my elderly mother they put us in a room as far away from the pool and breakfast room as you could be and to top it off on the second floor. They did offer transport by golf cart as needed and to upgrade to a suite on the first floor but not on the creek. Bec... Read more

We enjoyed our stay here at Zoders after finding it online. It's well priced in a town that is touristy and can be expensive so that's always a good thing. Our check-in went smoothly and we had a nice welcome from the 2 staff (and the bird!) on shift when we arrived, who were helpful and informative. After checking in, we also then had pleasant interactions with the housekeeper and another member of staff (who helpfully went to replace our room keycard after I had demagnetised it next to my m... We've stayed at Zoders a few times in the past. Again this weekend for a short getaway - great motel! Pool was clean and the flowers and plants were very pretty. All decorated for summer fun :) It's close to everything - walkable for sure. ALSO - 10 stars to the housekeeper who turned in my curling iron! I didn't realize I had left it there until we got home. They are sending it back to me.... how awesome is that! Thanks again for a wonderful stay... we will always come back!

This my husband's and I favorite place to stay in Gatlinburg. From the first time we fell in love with it. We always enjoy our stays here and relax in a quiet environment. It is located, right on the Gatlinburg strip.
