The best thing about this hotel was the balcony overlooking the river. Other than that, the hotel was nothing special. It is definitely an older hotel that they are currently renovating. The elevator is very tiny and old, and sometimes felt like it might not make it all the way. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. I like firm mattresses, but this one was as comfortable as sleeping on the floor. The pool was nice, but you do have to walk outside to get to it, so be warned in colder months. It i... Read more

The rooms were beautiful and clean! I loved the balcony over the creek. Exceptional service and knowledge from staff. The indoor pool was ok but the terrace with fire was where i prefered. Very close to a trolley stop and the parking felt safe. I will be back!

Nice stay, the jet tub was clean and worked very well. The breakfast was good, would love to have had oatmeal and bananas. Everyone was very friendly. A bit noisy at night, but we got used to that. The only negative issue I had was the alarm/clock was very dirty .

The room was nothing special but the bed was comfortable and the balcony was nice. The bathroom left a lot to be desired, small tub, toilet didn't flush well and there was some very bad patch work on walls and ceiling. The 24 hour pool and fire fit on the main balcony was quite nice and the breakfast was a good deal for what we paid for the room.

We booked the Baymont Inn for a spring break vacation with one of our friends. It was a fun getaway for our children. We had a great time in Gatlinburg and we were very happy with the Baymont Inn. It was very convenient between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The views were beautiful and every staff member that we came in contact with was very professional, personable and ready to take care of us. We will definitely be back here.

The view from the room balcony was exceptional. The room was clean and the fireplace was very nice. This was a good value for the money. It is about 5 minutes by car from the main strip in downtown Gatlinburg. The hot breakfast was very nice.

I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of this place. It is great for the price. The staff is friendly. The view from the balcony is absolutely gorgeous. Definitely recommend this place to anyone on a budget. We stayed for a night in Gatlinburg and we loved it.

Overnight stop for Wyndham points during cross-country trip. We caught the the PURPLE Trolley [shuttle bus] and participated in moonshine taste then Trolley to fantastic trout dinner then two-block walk back to Baymont Inn for a quiet complete night sleep before getting back on the road after a very complete (included) breakfast. William and Angel (front desk) were very helpful and friendly!!! We met a couple staying here for their honeymoon!

Stayed here because we got suckered into one of those deals with the timeshare previews, so that company put us up here. Room was very clean and updated. Great views of the river but parking was tight. Road noise could be an issue when strip is busy plus one of those mountain coasters is across the street, so during operation hours you heard screams from riders but we were not there much during that time so it wasn't too bad. Didn't like the elevator because it was extremely hot inside of it, it... Read more

Hotel is right on the river and balconies have 2 comfortable chairs to sit and relax. Rooms are clean and comfortable beds. Front desk staff was very friendly. Indoor pool is small but nice and has firepit area next to it overlooking the river. You can walk to downtown gatlingburg or catch the trolley (pickup is close by). Look for trolleys that say free parkway on back or its 50 cents a person. Also check out alpine coaster across the street.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms, hallways and pool areas were clean and decent size for a large family. The view from the balcony was absolutely gorgeous. The continental breakfast had many selections and all the food was fresh. The price was reasonable compared to other motels in the area. We would definitely stay in the motel if we return to Gatlinburg.

This is our second stay. We like it cause of the closeness to the town and Smoky Mountain National Park . It's away from the business of Piegon Forge . You will hear noise from traffic coming into town and leaving town. Like the fact of the stream running with the balcony over looking the mountains. The hotel is in the midst of remodeling so beware of that fact. Most is completed . Aside from the traffic it is a good find. You can take a trolley into town but we walk . It is a good find . We had a great stay at this charming hotel. The room was comfortable and appealing. Some might consider it a little tight which it is but not too much so. However, the bathroom is very tight but not unmanageable. Balconies are great with seating that is very comfortable. The beds are rather high, but they do offer a stool in the closet it needed. The housekeeping was good (we don't require daily cleaning and were only there for two nights. So, I can't attest to their cleaning during the stay, bu... Read more

We really enjoyed this hotel. The room was very clean. The staff was great. My husband loved the bed and slept great. He usually hates hotel beds. The view from the balcony was really nice. I didn't use the pool but the kids in it were having fun. We didn't get to eat breakfast because it was packed and there was no seating. Many people took there food back to their rooms. I would stay here again.

The picture you see in this ad is very deceiving. It shows only about two cars in the parking area. The truth is that there are only about 20 total parking spaces for the entire hotel. There is a constant struggle for people who are staying there to find a place to park. It would be different if people could fly in and get a cab from the airport. This is the only problem we had. The room was small but the housekeeping was very good.

Great location with beautiful views off the noisy strip. Yet it was within walking distance to all the activity. Very friendly staff. We didn't like the fact that smoking was allowed on the balconies and the bathroom tub was not cleaned and rinsed each day.

They were under construction but we enjoyed our stay. I could sit outside all night and listen to the river. I didn't like the location because we had to drive every where we went. It was peaceful after the attraction across the road closed every night. They have a nice sitting area outside and every room has a balcony.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, breakfast just ok (the breakfast attendant very nice and did her best to keep up). The pictures and description (on the River) gave me the illusion it was more nestled in the mountains. When in-fact, it is on the busy main street, with a lot of street noise. Good parking area. Also, the space between the rails on the balcony are too far apart. Our 2 year old grandson, got his head stuck between the rails for a few minutes. It was a bit scary and hurt him for us... Baymont Inn was in a very nice location in Gatlinburg, away from the crowds and traffic in the downtown area, but close enough to get there easily. Breakfast was excellent. The lighting in the room was inconvenient for reading but the balcony overlooking the river was nice. Parking was ample and convenient.

The room had a odor, refrigerator did not work and also had an odor. Tub plug didn't work and very little water pressure from shower. Checked in on Friday and drove back to Pigeon Forge that night and were able to get a room there but had to return to this property on Saturday because of no availability else where. Did not meet our expectations and photos are deceiving.

This is a very clean and beautiful place to stay in Gatlinburg. The rooms are laid out so nice and the view of the stream behind is beautiful. Others complained about the street noise but we never heard a thing and the view from the balcony more than makes up for street noise. The staff is very friendly also. Would stay here again for sure

We enjoyed the Baymont Inn. The rooms were very clean and had a wonderful view. Every morning there was a hot breakfast. Jetta and William at front desk were wonderful to us. They treated us like family. They gave us ideas and places to try and always asked how the day went. I have never felt like I was at home while away from home. When we go back we will book here again definitely. Thank you again William and Jetta for your hospitality. ------ The Osbornes

We stayed on the second floor on the way to Nashville from North Carolina. The view of the river was beautiful. The room was clean. The free breakfast was hot and fresh. The only downfall to this hotel is there is limited parking. It is in a great location, Pigeon Forge is to the left, Gatlinburg to the right. I would stay here if I went back to Gatlinburg.

I loved the room on the river. However, they need to put a duster in each room so we can knock down the spider webs on the balcony and chairs. The shower curtain needs to be changed often to avoid the mildew smell. Although the beds were super comfortable, the mildew smell in the bathroom is a deal breaker for a second stay. The ceiling and wall, in the bedroom, needed repair from water damage.

Everything about the stay was good with the exception of breakfast. The rooms were clean, most staff were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the indoor pool.
