Over the last five years I have been averaging 250 nights per year in hotel properties with the majority being Hampton Inn's. The Clarksville property could serve as a model for every other one I have stayed in at least as far as the property itself goes. I came in late in the evening and left in the morning so did not have much interaction with the staff but that is the only area I can not comment on. The interaction I did have was average at best. I was forced to ask how old the propert... Read more

We drove all day and into the night. There comes a time when your body says "ENOUGH". I called Hampton Inn and had a very friend and helpful lady on the phone. She said "I'll be looking for you". Check in was a breeze. The room was most comfortable and the 5 hours sleep felt like 8. Hit the road again and made it to our destination.

Even with no prior reservation am always treated like royalty and am generally able to stay in one of several rooms. View is countryside and no noise from busy highway close by.The waffles are the best for breakfast if there is time.Fruit is fresh and colorful. Other items are also very delectable !

We stayed here due to being in town for my Father In-law's funeral. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The rooms are spotless! The staff is very friendly and helpful. We didn't get the chance to try the free breakfast as my Husband likes to eat at Waffle House when we are near one. We are from Southern California and we don't have them. The location is convenient to shopping and restaurants. It is a quiet location and we enjoyed our stay. When we get back to Clarksville for ... Read more

On a previous visit we had stayed at the older location next door which is now under a different name. We were happy to find the Hampton standards here, including the hot breakfast variety. Our only problem was with the bathroom sink, which had a one-lever control. If you didn't get it in exactly the right spot when you turned it off, it would either drip or continue running. We did report it immediately and were given the option to move to another room, but elected not to move since we had ... Read more

If traveling from Chicago to Florida, this is a great place to spend the night. I've stayed there five different times and always find the staff welcoming and the hotel rooms clean and comfortable. The whole place appears so spotless, and that's important to me. The breakfasts are more than adequate with a variety of choices, and the breakfast room is large. Rooms are spacious and the beds are so comfy. The hotel is within walking distance to many restaurants offering fast foods or sit-down ... Read more

Good price compared to other in the same location. Recommend staying here if nothing more than a clean and efficient place and the free breakfast while visiting the area. Indoor swimming pool was really nice but closes at 10 pm and you have free Internet in all rooms.

Great place to stay with friendly, helpful staff. The hotel was filled that night and they were concerned that there might be "extra" noise which could disrupt our sleep - there wasn't but they were concerned. Hotel was clean and everyone was very helpful in suggesting places of interest to visit and local restaurants!

I stayed here while in Clarksville for business. I've stayed at multiple Hampton and know what to expect from the brand and it was spot on. The common areas were all clean and the rooms and have updated. The front desk staff was easy to deal with. It's location is great! I'll look forward to returning.

The Hampton Inn in Clarksville is located near to highway, but situated so no highway noise. It appears to be very new. We arrived at 1 and were hoping to check in which they accommodated. This is a really busy area of the city, much traffic, but there are numerous places to eat nearby even walkable. Room was very nice, beds comfortable, shower great, bathroom large. We used the exercise room and it was well appointed with 3 treadmills and two other machines and weights. I would stay here ... Read more

This hotel is able to get away with its rudeness and poor service as it is able to count on a sure thing which is the transient population moving to and from the base or staying in the area for a short time to conduct business at the base. I stay at a great number of Hampton Inns and this one does not meet the mark or even come close. As a Gold Hilton Member, I have come to expect a level of service and this hotel failed me. We were in Clarksville for a family medical emergency and chose this hotel due to the proximity of the hospital. I didn't expect to have such a wonderful experience. The beds were very welcoming after the long hours at the CCU unit. I've always said that Hampton Inn has the best beds, hands down. Excellent facility and staff.

This was a very nice hotel. The room was a little musty but very clean. Arrived late so we didn't spend much time here. The breakfast was delicious the coffee nice and strong. My daughter loved the waffle she was able to make. One thing I would like to note is that there was a young lady working in the early morning (7am) who was very dirty and unkempt. She was at the front desk and in front of guests and I didn't think that her long greasy hair and wrinkled clothes were very professional.... Read more

This hotel was one of the nicest HI's at which we have ever stayed. Love that HI offers mobile check-in where you just stop by the front desk and pick up your room key. This hotel looks and feels new with a new updated trendy look. Elevator was clean and carpeted (I mention this because sometimes even nice hotel elevators are dirty with cheap flooring). Have visited thus hotel previously and was always happy about the stay. This time; however, the experience was appallingly different - and not just the absence of the welcoming fresh cookies! Housekeeping was unacceptable. Upon arriving in the room the lounge seat was in separated pieces with the seat cushion removed and a set of used women's tights stretched across it. You know what you'll get at a Hampton and this property did not disappoint for the most part. The location is excellent if not a little tricky. Right off the highway but set back so it is quiet and off the busy street. Can't recall right now what the businesses are at the turn but it is directly across from the street to the Chick File. Trust me, it I suck there behind another property just a block.

My husband and I were looking for a little get away. We were happily surprised when we entered the suite. It had an open layout with a workstation in the middle of the room. It broke the suite into two sections without blocking any of the view. It was tastefully done. I was able to work at the desk area while my husband fell asleep watching golf. After some recent disappoints, this property has restored some of my Hilton confidence. Except for the overly perfumed smell of the room (a real problem for asthma sufferers), this is Hilton quality.
