Had a good stay for the most part. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close enough to things to do and was quiet at night. However, halls were in need of some good cleaning along with the elevator. Pool was very cloudy and needed cleaned around the deck.

Our visit to the RR was ok, but less than we had hoped for. Hotel was clean, breakfast just cereal muffins waffles....small pool. Rooms were clean but pretty noisy. Hotel was full every night. Not a great neighborhood too far from trolley to walk and feel safe at night. Average hotel, might return but we will see.

We went for a short trip for a softball tournament we just wanted something clean and inviting after a long day at the park. It's looks nice from the out side the room are very nice but the hotel is small and the elevator is very slow and nasty we took the stairs most of the time but they where no better it smelt like a pool hall and no fault of the hotel there was a building across the street and the alarm went off all night and when we left that morning It was still going off .. I thought the... Read more

My wife stopped in Chattanooga for a business meeting on the way to the beach. We like Red Roof Inns because they are always clean, comfortable--and pet friendly. This one was no exception. We had never tried a suite at Red Roof Inn before, and liked the layout and accomodations. The bed was quite comfortable.Lauren and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We would hit this one again when in the area.

Upon entering this "smoke free" room we were greeted with a cloud of cigarette smoke the instant we opened the door and it followed us halfway up to the third floor where we smelled Marijuana! I hope I can still pass my DOT physical and retain my job! There is not any reason this should be named red roof inn plus except for the pool. Bad location, poor quality breakfast, all the staff treated us like hell, very much over priced, the manger spends a lot of time here on trip advisor apologizing fo... Read more

We stayed in a red roof before so had no hesitation in staying in this one. First of all the manager and his parents were great and helpful. The rooms were adequate. The bathroom amenities were just shampoo and thin bars of soap. The receptionists were disinterested and unhelpful. But the breakfast were abysmal. Even for a continental breakfast it was a lot to be desired. I think the manager needs to go tinted roof in Quincy to check it out because it's a shame

Upon check in we weren't asked what payment method we wanted to use. Of course we wanted to pay cash but they already charged the card. We were offered water as a loyalty member which they forgot to give us. The secure door for the hallway leading to the rooms is broken, cannot be locked, or even completely closed. This makes one wonder why they have a "secure" door. The room smelled musty, had dirty bathroom walls, a broken sprinkler head, and dirty stained sheets. We were told it was a slow ni... Read more

I thought it would be an acceptable place when I read the reviews as some people are always complaining but this place earned the negatives...I wont go back there. The front is totally uninviting and looks more like they are protecting the clerk from getting robbed. The people staying next door seemed more like they were running a prostitution room. As we left in the morning at 9am we were in the car ready to drive off when a peddler knocked on the drivers window and wanted some cash for food... Read more

The "Hotel" is dirty from the moment you walk in to the check in. The main floor halls were dirty and the drywall was damaged. Our room A/C barely blew cool air. Half of the room was OK, but the other half was hot. The blankets had stains on them. The flooring had hair on it. The headboards had dried drip stains from Lord knows what. The sleeper sofa had scratches/tears on it. The furniture was all beat up. The textured ceiling in the bathroom was peeling and falling off. The exhaust v... Read more

The Anderson County (Tennessee) Senior Center plans a day trip once a month and a week end trip once a quarter. The trip we took in the second quarter of the year was to Chattanooga. We had originally planned to leave early Friday morning and made reservations for Friday and Saturday night. However, everyone was so anxious to go, we left on Thursday afternoon. We arrived with no reservations for the night but hoped we would not have to sleep in the three vehicles which were transporting 13 s... Read more

The room was very nice, though the Jacuzzi tub was smaller then I expected. Great location. Fairly close to all we did. The breakfast was minimal. Could definitely work on that. Has an indoor pool, but we did not use it. Over all I would stay again.

Desk clerk at check-in was not friendly at all, despite efforts to engage in conversation. The lobby area looked a little shabby, and the area of town didn't look like the best, not terrible, but not great. The lock on the door from the lobby to the rooms was completely gone, so there was nothing to stop someone from going right past the lobby and into the hallways. Room was clean. Tile on the floor instead of carpet, which I liked -- much cleaner than carpet! Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ... Read more

Bathroom was gross, bedspread had burn holes in it, sheets smelled like urine. Not clean at all. Elevator acted like it was going to get stuck every time you used it. We stayed on the 3rd floor and it was hot and sticky like a sauna. Paid $150 for the night and it as horrible. I will definitely never stay at these hotels again.

There was no one on duty upon check-in Waited 30+ minutes for a clerk to appear. Large crowd of un supervised children making noise in the pool after hours. The lobby was dirty with leftover breakfast cereal on the floor.

The new girl at the front desk was so polite and friendly, she mentioned that she had only been working there for about a week, but she did very great job at everything and kept a smile on her face the whole time. Great Job

Me and my family stayed for a few days in Chattanooga we are from Florida so we did not know much about the area. The front desk clerk, Lauren, was outstanding at helping us find our way around! With my sense of direction, my husband was impressed with her patience! The room was clean, food was good. We hope to come stay again next year!

Chattanooga was the final stop on our road trip Atlanta-Memphis-Nashville -Gatlinburg-Chattanooga- Atlanta, & as in Gatlinburg we all wished we had longer in Chattanooga, & the Red Roof was ideal for our stay, free parking (plenty of spaces) short drive or taxi to downtown & in an ideal location for visiting local attractions , firstly all the staff we spoke to were super friendly & really helpful with booking taxis , recommending local restaurants/bars etc, they went the extra mile to make us w... While the staff was friendly and helpful I expected more for what I payed. My family of four stayed for two nights and the breakfast seemed like kind of an afterthought. The room had a mild odor, the window was left open and it was hard to close. My son spilled some water on the floor and while wiping it up we found huge amounts of hair all over the floor. But it is in a nice location since we were touring Ruby Falls and the rest of lookout mountain.

The hotel seems to be a bit older or maybe it just hasn't been maintained. The ceiling was peeling and the drapes were falling down. There is no air conditioning in the hallways. There were people yelling at each other in the parking lot and panhandlers nearby. On a positive note - the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the cost is reasonable, and it is conveniently located to downtown.
