We normally stay at another hotel in the Hilton family but wanted to upgrade for our 30th anniversary. We were not disappointed. We booked a room with the Jacuzzi as we planned to be doing a lot of walking while in town. The room was clean, stylishly decorated and always smelled fresh. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We did not take advantage of the restaurant but the people we encountered who did were pleased. The location was not far from the local attractions, shopping or the downtow... Read more

I am here, again, working. There are no smoking hotels in the area, as of Jan 2016. My home-away-from-home is remodeling, so I thought I'd give this hotel a shot. This is a nice hotel! Clean. Indoor pool. Fastest check-in I've ever had, and I travel quite a bit. Keurig coffee maker in room, comfortable bed. I've just been spoiled by Homewood Suites (across the street, which gives me the same nightly rate). You have to pay for meals and drinks here, including breakfast (and dinner). $10 breakfast... Traveling from New Orleans to Statesville NC we stopped here overnight. Hotel is very conveniently located off I-75 and there are multiple restaurants nearby (even walking distance). Staff was very friendly and the breakfast, though not included was generous and freshly prepared.

Having stayed at this hotel for an extended time due to business travel, I've found that the staff is like family. The check-in was very smooth. Leah made sure that I was recognized as a diamond member and offered all the benefits associated with that. The breakfast was awesome. They cooked my over medium eggs perfect every morning. The housekeeping was impeccable. The hotel was always clean. My room was always neat and clean which I needed after a long days work. The exercise facility wa... Read more

Normally HGI beds have their sleep system. This location doesn't have it. Beds are way too hard and completely uncomfortable. The dinner sandwich that I had was awful. The breakfast was also pretty bad. I ordered an egg white omelette and got an egg white taco. I will either stay at the Homewood suites across the street, or a hotel downtown. Never here again.

Beds advertised on website as sleep number type beds but this IS NOT the case eventhough the reservationist assured me upon making my reservation that they were so false advertising. Mattresses and pillows so miserable we could not sleep hardly at all. Room temp was never consistent--freezing or very humid. bathroom faucet dripped non-stop; towel rack for towel storage was IN the shower on back wall (disgusting and first time I've ever seen that). Not recommended!

I find the Hilton Garden Inn a nice hotel just far away from the Mall to be quiet, and nice enough to be enjoyable. I personally like the decor of the rooms and the quietness of the rooms. I think the room rate is reasonable for the location. The rooms are always clean.

Room was clean and fine, but had problems with TV, Fridge in room went out and no towels in pool area. Also awoke to a fire alarm at 6 AM. Not cool when arrived late and ALL I wanted was to sleep in. I understand may not have been hotels fault but still makes for a bad sleeping/relaxing experience. Nothing offered for inconvenience.

Visited on 5/20/16 for 1 night on a trip from Chicago to Florida. Knew this was going to be a late arrival and we just needed to crash. Too bad my experience was so bad that we will not be returning to this property. Was experiencing asthma and allergies prior to our visit so I had noted on the reservation hypo-allergenic, "PURE" room type (Hilton has a PURE program). Called ahead enroute to make sure the request was received and could be met. Was told it was on the reservation. Reiterated th... Read more

My family and I have stayed here two years in a row on our way to our annual family vacation. The amenities are great, service is fabulous. Easy location to get in and out of with it being close to the interstate. The hotel offers a great breakfast in the lobby, it isn't free, but is well priced.

Me and my husband travelled to Chattanooga for our anniversary and stayed here. The customer service here was awesome. When I had an issue with TV late at night, maintenance man called me in the morning to make sure it was ok to come up to help. He was friendly and fixed my TV within a few minutes. I needed a change of sheets after housekeeping left and Ian came up himself and actually change them for me. The hotel lobby looked new and modern. The wheelchair accessible room was clean, but the room looked like it was a renovated older hotel. The bed was firm, which I did not mind. For a wheelchair accessible room, I found it odd that the mirror over the sink was located higher. As someone who uses a wheelchair, I was unable to see my own reflection bc the mirror was placed too high. I used the mirror over the desk in the bedroom area to put on makeup. There was no free breakfast; however, their br... Read more

My wife and I travel to Chattanooga a couple of times a year to visit family. The last two times we stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn near Hamilton Place Mall. Both times we had a GREAT experience there. The staff was very professional and courteous. The room was very reasonably priced. We were placed in a room on the 1st floor near the business meeting rooms, meaning we had no wait for the elevator, and since it was the weekend, virtually no one else in the hallway. The staff was very friendly and courteous. During my stay, the hotel was packed for a reunion, but there were no issues. I was concerned that the reunion folks would keep me up, but once I was in my room, I didn't hear a thing (thankfully, the walls were not thin). With an even numbered room you get a view that doesn't look directly into the next hotel. The odd numbered rooms get a direct shot of the Fairfield hotel that's laid out parallel to HGI. My wife and I were traveling with our Grandchild. We paid for a king bed and a roll away bed. They dropped off an unmade roll away in the middle of the room, and some linnen. Not especially what we expected. We've stayed in Hilton Garden Inns before, but this was a new all time low.

We stopped for the night on our way to Florida. The hotel is in a safe area, with a well lit parking lot, and plenty of food/amenities surrounding it. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast the next morning, while not complimentary, was good. One glitch though, the chef didn't make my son's French toast when our server put the order in. He filled up in the rest of the buffet since we had to get back in the road and couldn't wait. Would definitely recommend this hotel for travelers.

I stayed at this hotel for one night during my last road trip. After a long day driving, I was warmly greeted by the front desk staff and was pleased to find that they honored my request for a higher floor, away from the elevator. The hotel was an older hotel that has been remodeled. Some of the furnishings were showing a bit of wear, and the carpet was oddly lumpy in a few spots, but my room was quite clean and thatâ??s what matters most to me. Not is the best location for Chattanooga attractions, but availability, parking and price are all better than downtown if you don't mind a short drive to attractions. I wanted to surprise my husband a Chatanooga trip for his birthday. I picked this hotel because it has a whirlpool in the king suit and when we travel we always want a room with that amenity. It was also a great location between downtown and whitewater rafting. Plus it's walking distance to a few restaurants including my fav Cracker barrel. But our two friends came with us and stayed too.
