The location is both a plus and a negative. AT&T Field is across the street. Restaurants and museums are within a few blocks. Huge plus. The negative (perhaps more of a minor inconvenience) is the parking. Unloading space is very limited and the parking lot is across the street. Better than some downtown hotels. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Everything In the room worked perfectly. We did not use the restaurant. The young man who checked us in was courteous and efficient.... Read more

This a good hotel to stay at. The location is great. Now that they have a better front desk manager I am back where I have stayed for the last 8 years now. The breakfast is the best in town. we have got to get their omelets. The restaurant is open at night and the cook is great.

When I made the reservation for our stay I asked for a room for two adults and two children ages 15 and 10 who needed separate beds. The reservationist recommended a king junior suite with a roll away bed. This sounded great and we booked it. On arrival we were informed that roll away was not allowed in a king suite and the concierge acted like we were less than intelligent and making up the fact that I was promised on the phone that we would have a roll away! This hotel is situated directly beside the Chattanooga Creative Discovery Museum and the Chattanooga Lookouts stadium. We had easy walk access to several great restaurants and entertainment venues. The hotel itself is very nice. The dinner room service is exceptional. We stayed in a Junior Suite and had plenty of room. We had no issues with our stay and had a great time.

Great location in downtown Chattanooga. Two blocks from the Aquarium, next door to the Discovery museum, across the street from the electric shuttle & movie theaters (Carmike and IMAX) and the baseball stadium is just out the back door. Amy at the front desk had helpful and had great suggestions where to eat. (212 Market was awesome). The rooms were spacious, clean and quiet.

I had the opportunity to travel to Chattanooga for business. This being my first visit to this beautiful city, I wanted to stay downtown so I could take time after work to unwind and enjoy the city. This hotel was the perfect location! Close to the river and wonderful restaurants. But what I was really impressed with was the kind people at the hotel front desk. They were so friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The front desk staff was very friendly. The location of the hotel is very optimal. I was staying with two friends for a birthday trip, and we left the car most of the time just to walk around Chattanooga, which was especially beautiful at night. The view wasn't anything much, as it was simply the edge of the roof of the art center (I believe is what it is) next door. I wouldn't call that a drawback, though, as even though a nice view would, obviously, be nice, it's not something that can be con... Read more

We were in town to meet up with friends and attend the Riverbed Music Festival. We had a wonderful experience at this hotel the year prior and decided to return to the Garden Inn. We have stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Chattanooga many times. It is a very comfortable hotel, has an excellent staff, and is in a prime location for the Riverfront area. The location is ideal for those traveling with children: next door to the children's museum, right behind the baseball stadium, and across the street from High Point Kidzone.

This hotel is in a great location if you want to be near the Riverfront in Chattanooga. Easy walking distance to the Aquarium and local sites.
