This is a Hampton, so you generally know what you are going to get. But, this is among the leading Hampton's I've stayed in. Very good location in Chattanooga, and really top of the line staff. The breakfast was surprisingly robust and actually quite good. The staff there were helpful, diligent, friendly. There is an exercise room which is okay in that it had 2 recumbents bikes, ellipiticals, and treadmills. Disappointed in no upright bike, but it was certainly fine. Parking is a little t... Read more

Basically, we checked in on Friday for a wonderful wedding wknd (my daughter's wedding), and when we came back to our hotel room very late on Saturday night, we found out that a staff member had checked us out of our room (without our knowledge). To make things worse, not only was this hotel booked, but so was every other hotel in this city.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hampton Inn. The rooms were very spacious and the mattress and bedding were extremely comfortable. My night here was probably one of the best night's sleep I'd had on my entire vacation. The room rate is a bit pricey for my tastes. The bathroom also could have used a quick push-around with a mop. The breakfast in the morning was pretty good. They have hot food like waffles, toast, omelettes, and Canadian bacon as well as cold/dry food like cereal, juice, yogu... Read more

Stayed here for UTC orientation. Property is nice - pool is partially indoor and opens to outside too. Outside has fireplace and nicely landscaped sitting areas. Breakfast is standard for Hampton Inn - which is fine and a nice addition. Location is great, parking is onsite in garage, staff were friendly. Downsides - both slight: Did the online check in but some snafu made this take longer than it should have (had to get the manager at a busy check in time) - but was all remedied and was no... Stayed 1 night at another hotel so glad we moved to The Hampton Inn in Chattanooga for the next two nights. Very very family friendly. From the great pool to cookies in the evening my kids loved it. The staff is excellent. David and Amy at the front desk were quick to help out. The hotel is convenient to all the activities downtown. No question as to where we will stay when we return to Chattanooga. The Hampton Inn gets our reservation. Thanks!

We stayed with our 3 children on a family vacation. Excellent location downtown - easy to walk to the Tennesse Aquarium and the Creative Discovery Museum. Stayed here for the annual family trip. Hotel was nice and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool was neat, being 1/3 inside and 2/3 out. We have stayed here close to 10 times now. We chose the hotel originally based on trip advisor reviews. Two stays ago (in April) we noticed things had gone down hill but thought it may have been a bad couple of days for the hotel. This last visit was for 4 days. The staff tried to accomodate us but with little success. The lobby, elevator, pool and rooms by the elevator smell like sewage. Modern facility with good rooms and amenities. The location in downtown Chatanooga is ideal for a visit to the area, although hotel parking is difficult. The breakfast has a lot of items, but the institutional eggs are awful. Of course, due to the location and our travel over the 4 July weekend, the price was quite high.

Hotel is in downtown Chattanooga, but the facility itself is in average condition. We had never been to Chattanooga before and chose this hotel based on Trip Advisor comments, mainly because it is in a safe downtown area. Our experience at this hotel was great! We got a top-floor, quiet room as we had requested. Unfortunately the a/c unit made a "whooshing" noise, so we were offered to check out another room on that floor, and it made the same noise. They sent maintenance to check our a/c, and they couldn't find anything wrong, so we just stayed in the room. We borrowed a smal... Read more

The only issue was the lack of parking, BUT, they will reimburse you for parking across the street (at a sister hotel's garage) at the end of your stay.

We really enjoyed the comforts of the room, which we were on the 6th floor, with a great view. The breakfast was well laid out and filling. The staff were extremely helpful and knew many of the best restraunts in the area, most walking distance. Would definitely recommend.

This hotel was perfectly located to visit downtown Chattanooga and not have to drive. The front desk staff was very helpful in suggesting places to visit. The parking is a bit of a challenge.
