The staff at this particular location are all very well trained and the service is exceptional. I've probably stayed at this location a dozen times so far. The hotel was renovated to a competing brand's high standard of decor, then Fairfield took over. The hotel is a notch above your normal Fairfield. Having stayed at nearly every Marriott branded hotel in the area, from experience I can say that very few rival how nice this hotel is, and NONE equal when measured on bang for the buck. I alread... I recently traveled to Florida with 2 friends. Being a Gold Elite member of Marriott Rewards, I made an online reservation for 1 night at this location. When making the reservation, I requested a room with 2 double beds and a rollaway bed. When we arrived, I was advised there were no rollaway beds. It wasn't that there weren't any available. There were none in the hotel. The front desk would check with the General Manager for resolution. Unfortunately, the resolution was a discounted rate... Read more

Nice hotel and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We needed extra blankets and they had them to our room with 5 minutes of the request. Breakfast staff was also very helpful and the breakfast was pretty good. Our room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom area was the only slight downside. Although it looks newly refinished the cleanliness was a bit lacking. There was still hair in the shower area, the floor and the shelving where the towels and dryer are located. I did... Read more

This facility is clean, comfortable, and well managed. The staff is properly trained and always courteous. Rooms are larger than a typical Fairfield property, with extra desk/counter space -- which is nice for business travelers. Breakfast food and service is also good, and the pool is larger than most hotels in this class. So it's an overall good value.

I've stayed at many properties in the Chattanooga area but this by far has been the best. The service staff from the hotel really blew me away. The over exceeded my expectations as they were so friendly, clean, neat and organized it went out of their way to help me and my family. If you are ever in Chattanooga I highly recommend this property. Great value for the money spent!!

Since our son had to report to his AFROTC Drill Competition very early, we decided to stay a night in a hotel instead of leaving in the wee hours from our home and driving the 3 hours. I must confess: I am a bit of a hotel snob even when it comes to staying just one night. We basically arrived very late Friday night and then left early Sat morning. We were greeted with such kindness and warmth and were offered cookies and apples along with apple cider.... I must say that was a nice touch! My ... Read more

Day 2 of our road trip. Stopped after 500+ miles out of New Orleans. Deborah and Thomas at the front desk were welcoming and pleasant. With one phone call, they not only confirmed vacancy, but honored the advertised discount rate from the travel magazine - stop at the visitor center for the coupon - worth it. It appears to have been a recent build or remodeled, very nice lobby and eating area. Plenty of restaurants around to select from. Room is clean, comfortable with a hot shower. If in the... Read more

This hotel had three things I always look for. It was affordable, clean, and had comfortable beds. It is located to the east of Missionary Ridge so if you approach from the west and see Lookout Mountain and the downtown, it is an easy on/off the highway to Chickamauga and Atlanta. I've also used this location to go to Chattanooga battlefield events (because of lower price) but there is about 20 minutes travel through the city to get to Lookout Mtn. The breakfast was fine (two waffle makers).... Read more

This Fairfield Inn was very nice and close to the interstate and multitude of restaurants. This was our second night's stopping point on a 3-day drive from Maine. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast offerings were better than what we had at Ramada Inns at other locations. The breakfast included scrambled eggs, cheese omelet, and cooked oatmeal (as opposed to the packets). One negative: I found a used, wet washcloth in the bathtub.

This facility is ideally situated off I-75 and close to shopping, I-24, Chattanooga airport and a short distance to the downtown area. It is surrounded by a variety of dining options which is really convenient. This is a "new" location for this hotel. This was formerly Four Points hotel by Sheraton --which is a newer building and a lot better than where the old Fairfield Inn was before. The reception was cordial and warm in welcoming us and really helpful in getting us a room, since we did not m... Read more

My reservation at LaQuinta-Lookout Mountain mysteriously says the front desk there. Friends had booked at Fairfield so I decided to give it a try even though chances were slim since this was a busy Saturday night. The front desk was polite. And checked me into one of the last rooms available. Next morning "Linda" had the breakfast area spotless and kept it well stocked. "Lisa" was hard at work dusting and wiping down the lobby. My room was spotless and the maids were all smiling. ... Read more

We came here for a family reunion and had pretty mixed opinions on the place. It is a new property and the price was reasonable. It is one of many mid level chain hotels clustered around a Cracker Barrel and some other chains that cater to travelers. They have very easy access to I-75 and and only a few exits from the I-24 interchange, but they are a good 20 to 30 minutes from the wonderful attractions that Chattanooga offers downtown. An interesting altercation came up one evening as the new... Read more

Stay in a lot of Fairfields...this one was very nice in the lobby area. The room was standard, with an odd shaped bathroom - but not a big deal. It's nice to see consistency across Marriott Fairfield properties.

Booked an overnight stay here using reward points. Upon check in the front desk clerk ran my card for incidentals, this is common so I had no problem there. After a late night swim my son and I stopped by the marketplace where we got a bottle of water and a bag of chips. We asked they be charged to our room then headed up the stairs for the night. Next thing I know the clerk is chasing us up the stairs saying there wasn't enough credit on the room and he would have to run my card again. Really? ... Read more

This nice modern hotel met our needs. The staff was great, especially the ladies running the breakfast buffet. We had an early morning departure for a hot air balloon ride, so they saw to it that we could take some muffins and fruit. The bathrooms were good, but there should be an additional mirror in the room. The only downside is the placing the room receipt in the door frame. first of all, anyone could take it; when the door is opened, it falls on the floor.

My daughter was playing in a softball tournament in town and we needed somewhere to stay on short notice (previously booked hotel did not appear safe or clean). This hotel was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable. The room was quiet. The staff was friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Stopped here for the night between Nashville and Atlanta. Very nice hotel. Clean, comfortable room and bed. Outdoor pool was clean and the perfect temperature. No jacuzzi though. Nice exercise facility. Breakfast is free and adequate with a decent variety. Watch out for the power flush toilet in your bathroom though, we thought we might go down with it.

We were just passing through town and booked this place last minute. It was perfect for us and had a great breakfast. Located in a nice part of town surrounded by many other hotels. This one was a gem. Will absolutely stay here again next time we are in the area.

When you are greeted with the most amazing, beautiful smiles, you know they love their jobs. They upgraded us to a suite, which was nice. We had an issue with our a/c and the young lady came up to fix the issue (was our fault for not setting it correctly). She didn't make us feel like it was a burden. She smiled the entire time! Breakfast was not the best. The eggs were powder eggs and you could really tell it. Room was clean and comfortable.

Everything was "fine" - nice/helpful staff, fresh breakfast, relatively clean room, etc. It was nice, but nothing extra or special for the price - even with a small discount (AAA, AARP, etc). FYI: I had a hard time keeping a comfortable, steady temperature (A/C) in the room. But on the flip side, the HVAC unit was fairly QUIET! Nice!

Really enjoyed our stay! Very clean hotel, some of the most friendly staff I've ever encountered. Only thing qualm I have is the walls are a bit thin so you can hear a lot going on if it's a busy floor, but the benefits outweighed that. Def recommend and would stay here again for sure!

Excellent stay in this hotel!!! We booked 4 rooms for a family gathering. All rooms were very comfortable. The staff was extraordinary - from the front desk to housekeeping! The breakfast was wounderful, with lots of choices. Kishina and Mrs Linda were very welcoming and made sure that the breakfast bar was well stocked at all times! There were 16 of us, and the pool deck and the lobby were perfect places to gather. The pool is beautiful. We would definitely stay at this hotel again!

About 15mins from Downtown Chattanooga. Nice clean hotel with a modern vibe. Large lounge area in the lobby. The room was a good size for just the two of us and it had a nice desk table that provided extra storage space. The bed was pretty comfortable, although the pillows felt kind of lumpy and cheap.

Linda was very helpful every morning and would engage in conversation to make the morning start nicely. Linda answered any questions us northerners had about the area. Also the location of the hotel was perfect for our needs and the pool was outside so we could get some sun and it was kept very clean.

Made reservations through TripAdvisor/ and received confirmation. When arrived at hotel, my name was not in the system and no room was available. Man at desk called (he said bookings had overbooked the room). Shortly after I left the hotel, Bookings called me and indicated they would find a room for me. They sent an email indicating they found a room at another hotel, same town. I immediately called that hotel and they had no rooms. Found a room on my own but in a differ... Read more

We liked this hotel, which was far less expensive than those downtown and has free parking. It is about 20 minutes from downtown, which was plenty convenient for us. We found public parking lots to be relatively easy and inexpensive for our trips downtown and to the North Shore and Bluffview districts. The lobby has a spacious central seating area. Coffee and hot water/tea bags available all the time at a self-serve station. Free breakfast was pretty typical in terms of food; the cleanliness of ... Read more

My husband and teenage son and I stayed just overnight on our way to a college visit... Very clean room. Desk staff very pleasant. I would have given higher rating except I very clearly specified three adults, and the room description said 3 maximum and even had three on the icon... But turned out to be one king bed, no option of rollaway out room change. We made do with a creative footstool/chair combo using extra bedding the desk staff provided... But definitely not ideal. We stayed here three nights after arriving from a 9 hour European flight. We were both exhausted and I was still recovering from a bad cold. Much time was spent napping and sleeping. We should have checked the brand of mattress-it was heavenly! I asked for a quiet room-top floor-away from ice machine and elevator. Very good hotel for couples. Investigated a lot on the hotels in that area. I found this hotel the best. Economical, well maintained etc. etc. Stayed during Independence day long weekend and booked this hotel in the last minute and got it for a good price. Only disadvantage is it is far away from downtown. But there is a mall near by for shopping. Many restaurants near by.
