When we were checking out Dennis was very pleasant, very helpful. He was professionally dressed, clean. Very pleasant and acommadating. The room was clean, the cafe that is connected to it is phenomenal! We only needed one night, the next day after our event we had to leave. 5/14/2016

Great location. Highlight of stay was being welcomed by Nancy. She gave us tips for our visit and made us feel like we had known her forever. When I went to the desk late at night for extra towels, I did not have to wait for housekeeping to be contacted and bring them to the room as I have had to to at much higher priced hotels I have stayed at. The wonderful bilingual gentleman manning the desk got them for me himself even though there was someone from the housekeeping staff nearby. All of the ... Read more

The only reason I'm giving it a 4 instead of 5 is the facility is a bit dated if they would remodel this would be one of the best hotels in Chattanooga. For the price I couldn't have asked for better the staff was very accommodating and answered all my questions they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. It was within walking distance of our convention hall. It was also very clean even if it was a bit dated. I would definitely stay there again.

It was the first time in a long time that I have stayed at a hotel that caters to female travelers as much as they cater to male travelers. i LOVED having a lighted 2 sided maked up mirror in the bathroom!!!!! The restaurant and bar were so accomodating, we had a large demanding group, and they kept bringing and adding more and more tables and chairs, the waitresses were able to keep all our checks straight. The lobby was large with comfy cozy seating areas.

For $10 more I could have stayed at a Far nicer place...drunks outside in parking lot ALL night. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again...didn't know it was the one I selected until I drove up..shame on me..room was beat up..hole in wall..door warped from someone trying to break it down

We had a great welcome here, lovely staff, very helpful. Room just as it should be, everything clean and tidy, no problems at all. Having searched in vain for a restaurant nearby, we went to the City Cafe attached to the hotel, a typical American diner with great food and atmosphere. If Tate staying at this hotel, or anywhere nearby, the City Cafe is a must!

First the good: Near downtown, near interstate, comfortable beds. The desk staff was pretty good, letting us know about local restaurants etc. The bad: no free breakfast. The air conditioner was really loud. The room was quite small. Not many plugs in the room---there were 2 in the bathroom sink area, and another 2 on the front of the microwave. The rest were all taken up by lamps. None of the plugs were convenient for being able to use a laptop while reclining on the bed. The ugly: The imme... Read more

The Room Was Great. Clean. Smelled Fresh and bed was very comfortable. We stayed on the top floor which I enjoyed less noise. We did however eat at the 24 hour dinner ..and I didn't enjoy that but we did get to see the fireworks from our room due to the music festival that was in down town so that was a nice perk. I enjoyed my 2 day stay and would def stay here again!

I have stayed in other Days Inns and been disappointed by the quality of the rooms. This Days Inn was the best I have seen. It was clean. The staff was very helpful. It was not difficult to find and close to everything we wanted to see.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The room was spacious. The staff (Dennis and there was a female that I didn't get her name) were beyond friendly and helpful. We had a great stay and will certainly be return customers!!! Ps the Cafe was not only convenient but had awesome food!

Great trip! Andrea and Dennis were very helpful and courteous!! I was a bit apprehensive upon arrival as the building shows its age, but was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the room. The bathroom shows its age but it was clean and no mold! It was overall a great getaway and we will stay here again!

The outside of the hotel looks a little tired, but don't let that deter you. Our room was very clean and well-appointed. (One wash cloth was a little tired, but that is easy to miss and overall the linens were very clean) The employees were all friendly and helpful and we loved the City Cafe, the 24-hour diner attached to the hotel!

We were treated like royalty at the Days Inn. Dennis and Nancy were like a free comedy show, accommodating to our needs in a humorous southern hospitality manner. We were so pleased with the service, inside tips of Chattanooga and huge shower. The sheets were clean and crisp. We slept like babies! Thanks for making our stay in Downtown Chattanooga memorable.

We stayed for the weekend and I was a little upset about the room. We found it on a website and it was a king room for a great price. Little did we know it was a handicap room so I had no bathtub, only an open shower that by the end of the trip was not so bad after all. We are standing in line to check in and a woman just cuts infront of us. The lady at the desk says nothing to her or us, she just begins checking her in. Then we get to our room and find there is no where to put our clothes. Not ... Read more

I had a great time here! The afternoon staff at the front desk were super nice and accomodating. There's a great dive bar, and an incredible diner connected to the property. I had plenty to eat and drink! The room was super clean, and very comfortable. The hotel was older, and could use a bit of an update, but from what I could tell they've already made that a priority inside the rooms. It was a little pricey, but it *was* downtown. The best features are their people. Nancy Everitt and Andrea Newby behind the desk were friendly and very competent. We needed a first floor room, because of my wife's knee surgery and got one right next to parking and poolside. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Located close to the attractions and the free shuttle stopped there. The City Cafe connected was great. Food was very good. And a lot of food for the money. Desserts were HUGE. The washer & dryer were so old. It took from 10 PM to almost 3 AM to wash & dry 2 loads of clothing. It cost me $12 to do the 2 loads. The dryer is not vented to the outside; it blows into the room off the breezeway, making the temperature in that area well over 100 degrees at night. We booked our room a few months before we arrived. We were quoted $109 per night including all taxes....When my son paid the bill, he was charged almost $140 per night ! My husband is a disabled Veteran & we were to... Read more

The rooms are basic but very clean. Close to downtown! You can take the trolley down and back for free. Great Wi-fi reception and offers a nice selection of channels on TV. The staff is friendly and always pleasant to help out. Dennis was great at checkout. There is also a café attached with and a bar that plays live music. The diner has the best pies, and everything on the menu is good. This is a great place to stay. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, this is not but is it close!

Very friendly at check in and check out! They made sure we knew what was available to do in Chatanooga while we were there. Room looked and felt clean. It was quick and easy to get to from downtown! The cost was lower than downtown hotels but only took is not even 5 minutes to drive from downtown.
