"Overall it was a pleasant experience. If I had to gripe I would say the refrigerator in the room was very loud and everytime someone else use the restroom on the floor it sounded as if they had just flushed the toilet in our room. Having said that we did have a great time. The linen was clean, the room was clean. We have great access to the beach and could see the beach from our balcony. Despite the fact that the hotel is on Ocean Blvd it at the 'quiet' end, which was very nice. I Would stay there again!"

"The resort is great for families. We traveled there with two girls ages 6 and 5. The location is great. The rooms and grounds are very lcean and right next to the beach. The pools are clean and the kids loved them. There is a grocery store about 5 minutes away, so we loaded the fridge with snacks, and drinks. This is a great value! It is located at the end of the beach, so it is not nearly as crowded as other areas. We are planning our trip back there this year! "
Posted: Wed, May 04, 2011"Me and my boyfriend went to myrtle for the first time and booked at Springmaid because it was so affordable. When we got there, our room was amazing. Two queen size beds, clean, and ocean view, the air conditioning kept the room very cool and there was lots of parking available as well. We were seconds from the beach, which seemed to be private, so there wasn't a ton of people. The location was close to everything. We're going back this summer in June."

From Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR)
- Head South on Jet Port Road toward Myrtle Beach Air Force Base.
- Continue on Harrelson Boulevard.
- Take the ramp onto Highway 17 South Bypass / US-17
- Turn right at 48th Avenue South.
- 48th Avenue South turns left and becomes South Ocean Boulevard.
