Long Bay Resort, Myrtle Beach Overview:

Located right on the beach, Long Bay Resort is approximately two miles from Dolly Parton`s Dixie Stampede, five miles north of downtown and 8.5 miles Northeast of Myrtle Beach International Airport. Long Bay Resort is one of Myrtle Beach`s favorite oceanfront resorts, featuring 286 oceanfront condos, suites, efficiencies and rooms. Located in the prestigious North end of town, it boasts one of the most scenic stretches of the beach along the East coast.

Long Bay Resort is located approximately two miles from Dolly Parton`s Dixie Stampede, and five miles North of downtown and Myrtle Beach International Airport. The Children`s Museum of South Carolina, NASCAR Speedpark, Tanger Outlet Center, Broadway at the Beach, Ripley`s Aquarium, Myrtle Waves, and Myrtle Beach Pavilion are all within five miles of the hotel. This location is also six miles from Family Kingdom Amusement and Waterfront Park and Barefoot Landing, seven miles from Grand Prix Family Thrill Park, and nine miles from Myrtle Beach State Park. "It was a good beach experience for our family. The resort is oriented toward families with kids. They had a very nice kiddy pool, swimming pools and a lazy river. Pools were clean and well maintained. Restaurant and poolside cafe were well run. Rooms were clean with full kitchens and plenty of sleeping space. There was a good maid service. Nice oceanfront location. Well located near restaurants and shopping."

"I must admit, I came with much uncertainty having not been to Myrtle Beach in 20 years. But considering how much I paid to stay here I was totally impressed and left with a great beach vacation memory to take with me. Yes, the hotel is probably 25-30 years old and some of the living room furniture is very basic hotel stuff but I'm not there to sit in the room, right? I cannot emphasize how much your kids will love the pool area. Again- your kids will love the pool area. And can you beat having a Starbucks ON the property? I am not sure if I would pay the non-discounted rate for this place, again, I paid a fraction of it through a sale on bookit.com. I stayed in an oceanfront suite w/ murphy bed. Views were great. Try to stay there if you can! "

Most of the guys I went with have also been going for years and keep returning every year. I won't miss this yearly trip to Long Bay Resort as long as I can physically do it. The hotel and staff are very friendly and will help with anything you need. Great place. Love it. "
