This was our last stop before heading home from a two week family road trip last week. The staff was courteous, the room service was prompt, and the food from the grille was delicious! Only complaint is how small the rooms were. After traveling for two weeks and staying strictly at Holiday Inn Express chains the entire time, this was the smallest room we encountered which made it a little difficult with two small children.

I have stayed here a few times now and you cannot beat the location. There is plenty of good food and local beer within a 10 minute walk. Falls Park is less than a 20 minute walk and a must see! The hotel itself is clean, modern and run by a friendly staff. I will be back!

Hotel was very clean, lots of amenities and staff was very nice. Will stay here every time I come back. Lots of nearby restaurants. Make sure and eat at the Phillips Avenue Diner at least once. Hotel was very quiet and perfect location to everything in the area. Plenty of parking available and parking was cheap.

The Hotel is perfect for a break during a trip in South Dakota. I got a room at the 9th floor, the view was great and the breakfast room is simply superb with a very friendly staff!! If the car park I the front of the hotel is full there is a very big cover car park on the back with straight access to the hotel.

great downtown location. close to shops and many eating places. Was close to the wedding and reception we were in the city for. Staff was very helpful and rooms were clean. Great view of the city as we were on the 8th floor. Could have a bigger drive up area for checking in. Shuttle bus parked in inconvenient place for cars to get unloaded and parked. A better place would be okay or limit the time it parks there.Driveway not very wide. Parking garage a good choice if it is raining.

What a nice hotel. Beds are great, nice restaurant and lounge area. We especially liked the pool area with the new decor. Noticed the clock tower picture above the bed and had my granddaughter take a look and see what stood out to her in the picture. Then I took her to the balcony window and directly out in front of us was the clock tower. What a beautiful view!

The staff truly did a great job of feeding us and preparing room for us to have a comfortable and great conference. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The wireless internet in the room was slow, but that may have been unique to my room as I heard of no other complaints. Overall, it was a great stay and I would certainly stay again! Many thanks!

I've stayed here before for work but this time it was for leisure. Holiday Inns aren't swank but this place is plenty nice with an ideal location. You can't go wrong here. The front side faces the city a bit, ask for a room with a balcony since though it faces main streets, Sioux Falls ain't a busy, noisy place. Free wifi, iffy connection speed. Great hotel with a great location. Love that you can walk anywhere downtown from this location. Also the staff is great and hotel shuttle is very convenient. I stayed one night with no rental car and was still able to experience everything in Sioux falls i needed to.

Nice motel with pool and covered parking which is close to downtown. The carpet could use updating but otherwise everything is what we expected. We did not utilize the bar area but it was busy with people.

A very nice, clean hotel with an up-scale feel. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel has everything you might need ( including a restaurant, guest self-serve laundry etc.) but has a good location if you want to venture out. It is a short walk to the Falls Park. A separate floor for IHG gold members included newspapers, buffet and breakfast. Parking is not free, but the price was very reasonable. The room was nice and quiet with the usual amenities, but everything was good quality and the ... Read more

Very comfortable bed and room was clean. Best of all was that the balcony view was wonderful. Little difficult to find on GPS unless you search specifically for their name. If ever visit that area again, will be staying there again though.

We were there for our nephews wedding. The reception was not there on the property. There were weddings both nights we were there. You are within walking distance to many restaurants, bars, walking paths!! Our weather was beautiful! We found places with patios . The service at the front desk was nice. The bartender great! Restaurant great! Food very good! Our rooms were clean. I liked the two pillow options!! The bed was very comfortable too! Cold water and hot coffee by the front desk all the ... Read more

Bed good, front desk help great--but they won't serve a drink to even gray-haired seniors without an ID. Totally ridiculous, embarrassing, humiliating--even cruel--to anyone who's clearly well over 21. There is NO explanation that can make this right--the general feeling among guests was that the hotel had to pay a FAT fine for serving under-agers--then took it out on everyone. Housekeeping help was courteous but always forgot to give us more coffee and accoutrements for the room. They need to g... Read more

While I've had so-so experiences with Holiday Inn's this one was a quality hotel. The staff was friendly and the location was within walking distance of a nice area that had many different types of bars and restaurants. The inside pool area looked a little weathered but it didn't effect me because we didn't use the pool. I got the hotel through Priceline and was able to get a good price on this room. I will stay here again.

Everyone working at this hotel was very helpful. I can't say enough about Nicki, Bernie, and the rest. The rooms are updated and they have a concierge lounge, which other IHG properties should consider. The only criticism is that they should offer hot breakfast items to keep up with other hotel brands, especially for those of us watching our carbs. The hotel is conveniently located and they have a shuttle. I will stay at this property every time I am in Sioux Falls!

This hotel has a great location if you are wanting to be downtown and near Falls Park. It was the perfect overnight stop on our trip. The staff was very accommodating to our late check-in, and it is close enough to Falls Park to work it into your morning walk/run.

Attended a conference at the Hotel. Food for banquet was lousy. No access to room upgrades but they granted access to Elite floor level for cocktails. Bar was great just off lobby. King room was nice. Biggest complaint was their Internet system blocks access to company VPN so I had to use and Internet connection to access company emails. It was extremely slow and painful. I've stayed there several times in the past an overall they are a good property. Wish they'd fix the Internet.

I lived in Sioux Falls for 30 years before moving away. Anytime I come back to visit family or friends, I always make my reservation at the downtown Holiday Inn. It has access to everything I love including a central location for all my family and friends as well as the pulse of the downtown. There's always something going on for entertainment.

The Hol Inn has undergone a very nice facelift, everything looks very new. I really enjoyed the very delectable food in the concierge room, smoked salmon and shrimp. My room was very comfortable, but I was awoken by a horn from the train tracks not that far away in the wee morning hours... Maybe I am a light sleeper, might not bother another sleeper

Very good location with easy access to downtown, falls park, sioux falls sculpture walk and the old court house museum. The staff was friendly but somehow the booking system put the different type of room under my reservation. I booked through ihg.com so the mistake is somewhat unusual......I had to exchange the key with the front desk and switched to a lower floor....Otherwise, the hotel is clean and in a nice location.

We were in town for an event in downtown Sioux Falls. This was the perfect hotel located just blocks away from where we needed to be. Staff was great at check-in. We went into the hotel bar after our event and the staff there was nice enough to let us hangout in a common area until we were finished with our drinks. Room was clean and comfortable.

In town for business (3 nights). Everything was what I expect from a Holiday Inn, clean, comfortable, and friendly. Cannot speak about price ad the company paid for everything. The breakfast was a little disappointing (food was cool and bland). Only real issue was completely beyond the control of the hotel. There is a meat processing plant in the vicinity and apparently when they get running it really stinks up the area. Last night was bad when i went outside. But nothing the hotel can do here.... The hotel is nice and clean and modern. The location is great. When we stayed the hotel was pretty full. I tried to check in one hour early and Erin at the front desk was very rude to me and made sure to loudly point out that I was early and to come back in an hour or two at the real check in time and that there was not a clean room in the hotel. This hotel was great. They have a happy hour with appetizers and a breakfast for IHG Reward members. This was great. Usually I stay at Holiday Inn Express for the free breakfast. However, I chose this location since I was going to be there for a training. When you travel it is nice to have a meal not to worry about. The room was great and the staff were very courteous and friendly.

Went out to car to get one more piece of luggage and was followed into hotel by shifty looking man walking through parking lot, who followed me into the elevator. I booked this hotel through IHG because of its great location..the event we were attending that evening was less than 2 blocks away! Before arriving, I noticed I had booked a King room with only one bed. There were 2 couples staying in the room so I called a few hours prior to check in and asked if the room could be changed to a 2 bed room if at all possible. They told me they were completely booked up for the night and that it wasn't possible, a bummer but completely my fault. When we arrived, ... Read more

What can I say? What a great hotel in downtown sioux falls. Very flexible airport shuttle, most don't start until 6am but as I had a 6am flight, they were willing to leave at 4:45am! 5 stars!!! Great hotel bar and event rooms as well.
