Stayed May 3rd as attending a meeting in Brookings on the evening of the 3rd and morning of the 4th. Check in smooth and room very good, nice size, desk, bed, tv, etc. Used the workout room in the morning before my 8:00 AM meeting and while small, quite functional with two treadmills, an eliptical and a rack of dumb bells. Pool was a bit on the small size for swimming. Better pool and I would give 5/5 stars. Overall, can't complain

This is one of the better Hampton Inn's I have stayed at recently. Very clean, helpful staff, and spacious room (#310 had tons of room). Fitness center had good equipment, location was close to some restaurants nearby. Great spot for business travelers, or people just passing through.

The Hampton is Brookings, SD best value. I stay here a lot for business. The building structure provides for a quiet stay. The beds are very comfortable clean with a variety of pillows. The included breakfast always has variety and quantity.

Good clean room and a nice free breakfast in the morning. It was easy to check in and really enjoyed the stay. Beds are great, nice pool and a great gym for my morning workout. I always enjoy the Hampton Inn. I don't think I have ever had a bad experience at The Hampton Inn.

I would definitely stay here again with my family. We stayed for a wedding so we got a discount, but I would still pay the money because it was spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious as well.

While there are several hotels to choose from in this same area, the Hampton Inn provides, by far, the best value and quality. It isn't the cheapest and it doesn't have a fancy swimming area, but it does have the best breakfast and its rooms are at least as good (if not better) than any other hotel around it -- there are three others.

Stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip in May. Room was large and bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was great. Staff were friendly and explained where I could go running in the morning. The path surrounding the hotel is excellent for running or walking.

We had a quick trip to fly into MN and drive my father-in-law's truck back to Co to sell. We had been driving all day and needed some rest. Your hotel offered a clean and comfortable room with a wonderful breakfast. I wish I had packed a swimming suit so I could have used your pool.

This hotel is conveniently located and easy to access. It is a little pricey even with the AAA discount. The electronic checkin was handled correctly and efficiently. I don't personally care for the western omelette but the French toast sticks were good.

My first choice is always Hampton Inn. Love the cleanliness of the rooms, good nights sleep and the many choices of pillow, soft, thin, thick, medium size pillows. The option to have breakfast in the a.m included and their Coffee is outstanding. For families that is a huge value to feed the whole family for breakfast.

We had an excellent stay, everyone of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only problem we had was on Sunday morning, the breakfast was shut down early and some of our guests were not able to eat breakfast

We had not stayed in a Hampton Inn before but had heard only good things and seen good reviews. The Hampton Inn in Brookings exceeded our expectations. Every aspect of this hotel made our visit a most positive experience. Everything was quality, while being very comfortable and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast provided a great way to start the day.

Most important, this spacious room was very clean. I like the sink outside the bathroom, and the bar area just inside the door was a bonus! The placement of the large closet and mirrors was perfect! The swimming pool was clean and not crowded. An ample supply of towels was available. The breakfast was not just a continental breakfast; meat and eggs were also included! It was delicious!

I wasn't real familiar with the Hampton hotels, but we enjoyed our 2 queen bed room, which was comfortable and spacious enough. It smelled pleasant & clean, had a very nice big desk to work at, and the beds & bedding were like clouds from Heaven! My only disappointment, is that only the suites have fridges & microwaves. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Our stay was four days and was very pleasant. Helpful staff, clean room, pool and hot tub were very clean. We asked the manager if we could bring the grandkids over for a swim ( they live in the area ) and he said no problem.

We stay at this hotel once or twice a year when we visit family. The staff is consistent with great customer service, and the rooms are always super clean. The hot breakfast does not disappoint, with a variety of items to choose from, so you never have to eat the same thing twice!

Every time we came to visit our daughter at SDSU (4yrs) we booked rooms at this hotel. The staff is wonderful, hotel is extremely clean and they have an above average breakfast. I would recommend this one.

This appears to be a new hotel, just off I-29 and close to the university and a short drive to downtown. Large lobby with high ceilings, usual Hampton breakfast, easy check-in, good gym, full cable options on tv, bright, modern hallways, and perhaps larger rooms than the typical Hampton. Plenty of parking in front, and gas station next door. The only thing that missed was lack of delivery of the USA Today newspaper to the lobby on time one morning. Recommend.

The price was very reasonable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were really comfortable and the room was very clean. The air conditioning worked very well. It was quiet in the room. The coffee maker in the room was a nice touch. There was a full hot breakfast included. Highly recommended and would gladly stay here again.

The location and the people were great. The staff was very accommodating and the facilities were modern and clean. Proximity to the highway, without the noise was also appealing. Very close to dining and fuel, too. Even though it was an active area, noise was not detected. I recommend folks consider this location. The heat and humidity met favorably with the corn and soy beans.

Friendly, helpful staff. Quiet & clean. Free breakfast is adequate & seating arrangements are comfortable. Convenient location off I-29 next to gas station. Walk across parking lot to Applebee's is convenient. I have stayed here several times on business and have never been disappointed.

The room was very clean only disappointment was the breakfast that was offered. The staff were very friendly. Check in and check out were very easy. Location was great due to being right off interstate exit so it was not out of our way at all.

We were very pleased with our recent stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Brookings, South Dakota. The motel was very clean and conveniently located. In addition, the staff was outstanding and the complimentary breakfast was good. Everything about our stay was positive and we wouldn't hesitate to book at the Hampton again.

Our family stayed in a two queen bed room on the third floor. The room was very spacious with a couch that also served as a pullout. It had a mini fridge and sink as you walked in. In addition, there was a sink in the bathroom area. The closet was spacious. The beds comfortable. Only downside was the room housing the toilet and shower was a little small. Breakfast was complimentary with several good options.

We stayed in a suite with our family of 5...3 teenagers. It was great. Spacious room with two queen beds and a pull out couch. Would say there again. Pool was clean and warm. Only suggestion would be to have more seating in the pool area.

Only shortfall was no in room fridge. It was a good thing I arrived at the hotel before my wife left our house. We would have needed to go buy a cooler if wife was unable to bring one. We have a child that is 1 year old, so only drinking while milk for the most part at this time. We needed a way to keep the gallon of milk cold. Pool was great. Perfect temp, kids loved it.

Linda on the front desk was helpful and friendly. She went the extra mile to provide top notch service. Everything else was exactly as advertised. Clean, comfortable, secure, and quiet. Plus all the extras...... like cookies in the lobby. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends.

sign in the room says leave ur towels hang u can reuse them. They were gone each day and clean ones were there, even my bars of soap were gone every day so I had to open 6 bars of soap while I was there. Quite wasteful. No fridge in king room.

Located on the East side of the Highway, this Hampton Inn is a solid choice in Brookings. The room was clean, everything was in working order and online checkin was honored and handled well. Breakfast was kept moving along and was fresh and clean. My only point of feedback is around the lighting - the room was pretty dim. Better bulbs or something would definitely help.

other than a grumpy desk clerk the stay was nice. I was attending a convention/seminar while my wife was getting away from home to recover from a Chemo session. We needed a late check-out so my wife did not have to sit in the car for 2.5 hrs. while I finished the seminar. The desk clerk made it very clear that she had to be out of the room and in the lobby by 1:00 pm , my wife even asked if she could sit on the bed until the maids actually came to do the room and was told NO ..NO EXCEPTION ..oth... The hotel was great. This was our first trip with our 2.5 month old son and we really appreciated the extra space in the room. The check in on the app was really easy and helped us select just the room we wanted. I don't often find myself in Brookings, but if I am I would stay here again.
