Everything was great from the fast check in to the complimentary breakfast bar (which was more than enough to eat)! A quiet night in a comfortable bed in a clean room. There was a little dust on the cabinets in the bathroom but all else was clean. Awesome water pressure in the shower!

I stayed in this hotel for the first time, even if I most often stay at other Hampton Inn hotels. despite the next door environment's lacking comfort, I appreciated my stay, and I was comfortable with the hotel.

The stay was fine, I would like them to be more specific about smoking and non rooms,also the king with a fridge and microwave is worth the extra cost.Rooms could be a bit cleaner but staff was helpful

This hotel is close to I-26, quiet and safe. It is on the older side but our room was clean. The rate was quite affordable. Standard Hampton Inn offering. Breakfast is from 6am to 10am and included in the room rate. Staff at reception are friendly.

Our stay was great. Hotel was in a good travel spot. Staff was pleasant, helpful and informative. Dining at the buffet breakfast was good. Food items were great and plentiful. Coffee available all night was great when you look for a cup around 9 or 9:30 and there is coffee in the lobby so you don't have to leave to get it is very convenient.

We stayed overnight on a trip from NJ to Florida. Great service by Terri. She was nice enough at 4 in the morning to give us cereal and milk with a banana for breakfast which was completely unexpected and we were very thankful. The room was clean and comfortable. We would stay there again. The location was great - just off of route 26.

Not the best Hampton I've stayed in, but decent and clean. I'm definitely not used to being handed my water for being a diamond member from a cooler behind the desk but sort of fitting since I was in town for Lacrosse, LOL! Rooms were clean but cramped. Bathroom was small with little counter space. Reminded me of a different hotel chain, like they bought another chain out and just changed names and the Hilton bedding.

I chose this Hampton for it's location and because I am a Hilton Honors member. The staff was very nice upon check in and helpful as well as the staff the next morning. The breakfast was nice. Parking was convenient as well.

Stayed here for three days while attending to business in the area. I chose it for its proximity to the highway and central location relative to my work. I was treated very well although it wasn't the nicest Hampton Inn I've stayed in. It was clean and housekeeping are extremely thorough during my stay.

I truly enjoyed staying at this hotel. I forgot my toothpaste and received a complimentary tube. This was great. I did not have to go to the local Wal-Mark :). The hotel was only two miles away from the conference site.

We found this to be an older Hampton Inn with smaller rooms and less amenities than what we generally find with Hampton. Still, was a good night sleep, great service and stellar breakfast. Easy off and on to highway.

Was searching for a hotel near the zoo. While seaching I came across this hotel. Was very pleased with overall experience. Only downside was we were staying the same time as a middle school softball team who were very loud and unsupervised. Other than that, great.

This hotel was awesome. Enjoyed the VERY spacious suite. Very clean! They claim to change sheets, pillow cases AND covers between each guest. I believe them. Bathroom had a jetted tub. This Hampton Inn is located not far from the area where we needed to be for our convention so it was convenient for us. One disappointing feature was that our room did not have a refrigerator or a microwave and when the staff was asked about getting one they were not helpful at all. This trip did not make me a happy camper. The wrong size bed. I requested a king and was given a FULL size I.have not used one this size since the 80's. Some kind of equipment was left under the sink, not sure what it was also a roach tried to join us. However, breakfast was good, except one morning we had to wait for the refill of the hot food, and most of the staff was friendly and courteous.

We have stayed here before and chose to come again. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They had the usual Hampton In breakfast which we love. The area coming out of the elevators is a little tight, but not a big problem.

We were in the Columbia area to visit the Riverbanks Zoo. This Hampton Inn was close to the zoo. There were many good places to eat dinner nearby. Amos, the man on duty when we arrived, checked us in quickly and was very cordial toward us. The room was clean, but smaller than the usual Hampton Inns in which we have stayed. It was just fine for one night's stay.

The Hampton Inn near the airport in West Columbia, SC was one of the cleanest rooms I've stayed in including 4 and 5 star resorts. White sheets, white bedspreads and clean white towels. The staff is as friendly and courteous as you will find. I would stay at this hotel in all my visits to the city.

Dated hotel with rooms and bathrooms that need updating and cleaning. The staff were great but the rooms, AC and breakfast were not. The bathrooms were also small. The location is right off I-77 which was convenient for traveling south but do yourself a favor and travel a little bit more to avoid this place.

My husband stayed here four nights while working in Cayce. He said the hotel staff was wonderful, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. He enjoyed the pool area and was given towels from a staff member at the desk. He really enjoyed the cookies in the afternoon. He had absolutely no complaints about the hotel itself. We stayed here for one night on our way down to Florida. It was a little older hotel but still very nice. The beds were very comfy, room was clean, the pool was a prefect size for us, and the staff was helpful and nice. The breakfast was yummy, lots to choose from and the lobby to sit and eat in was accommodating. We will stay here again next year when we go on vacation.

The location is great. Right off the interstate and very close to a major medical center. The property itself needs a bit of help with maintenance and repair. Everything works, just needs a clean up. The room itself is clean and predictable for Hampton inn. Carpet and paint needs to be replaced. Good choice if you need a place to sleep and get on with business the next day.

The property is a bit older- reasonable wear on surfaces- but clean and a good staff. We had a good deal, so I feel that the value of the stay was excellent. Breakfast is the same basics as other Hampton Inns- not gourmet, but quality and value. Rooms are a bit smaller than other Hampton Inns that I have been at- the fridge is small and the microwave on top of it (not built in)- but effective.

First, let me say the staff at check-in were exceptionally friendly, that is why I didn't rate this property 2 stars. Our room was dingy, in need of painting and maintenance. If you were lucky enough to get into the bathroom, you may not get out because the door stuck so badly. You could barely open or close the door leading into the room itself. Mainly, the room was rather dank and in need of the carpet cleaned and walls and door painted. Would not stay there again.

Check - In was fast. I used the Hilton Honors check - In, which enable me to select my room prior to my arrival. The Lobby was very relaxing. The Front Desk personal was very hospitable letting us know of the free bottle water and coffee and cookies. Our room was inviting and clean. In the area close by is a Starbucks, Denny's and a McDonalds.

We needed a room for the weekend convenient to the football stadium at USC that didn't break the bank. This Hampton fit the bill nicely. Stayed here for USC parents weekend with 3 of my daughters. We reserved a 2 queen room, however due to a computer error were assigned a king room. Despite multiple calls, Hampton refused to honor the queen reservation and we were placed in a king room with a rollaway for 4 of us. Stay in Hampton/Hilton properties 95% of the time, while this property in the Columbia area is economical and clean, it is in need of a serious upgrade. You can tell that it is a very busy property from the wear and tear that is noticeable throughout the facility. Service is very good and the rooms are OK, but wouldn't recommend it for more than a day or two...and certainly not a "couple" stay.

They put me in a smoking room when clearly on my Elite HHonors profile it saids in my preferences, that I required a non smoking room because I have asthma. This hotel is located a few miles from downtown Columbia, which can be traveled in-town or by highway. The staff were all courteous and helpful.Breakfast foods were replenished quickly, even during.busy times. The front desk staff were accommodating and kind. We plan to stay at this hotel again!

My price point was $89 / night, booked thru Hotwire/Kayak. I was attending a course in Columbia for a week. I agree that the building is "tired" but otherwise kept up well. Room was acceptable, but would have preferred a brighter light over the desk. No refrigerator, making stay less pleasant for longer stays. This hotel is wedged onto a strip of land near the airport. Entry signage is limited and not easily found after dark. The lobby area is tight and small though not unattractive. The upstairs hall off the elevators is so tight you can hardly maneuver the luggage dolly. Although clean and neat the bathrooms and HVAC are archaic looking as compared to other Hamptons of today.

This property was an older Hampton Inn property but was very convenient to Interstate 26 and the Columbia Airport. We picked this location due to unavailable downtown options. While it's a relatively easy drive to Columbia's business district, it is a lower level Hampton Inn. The hollow core doors between rooms permit low sounds to emanate from next door and the rooms are smaller than new models. Therefore, I'm giving it an average grade. the hotel really needs an update. the staff is very very nice, but it is a very shabby outdated hotel which I found depressing. but the staff is nice and friendly, they mostly make up for it. the location did make it easy to find places to eat, just be warned that downtown columbia is almost impossible to park in.

This hotel is a great value for the money and the staff at this hotel are super friendly! Our room was updated, although it was a little worn around the edges (signs of wear on the bathroom vanity, no throw pillows on the love seat) as were the rugs in the hallways. If I hadn't recently stayed at a Hampton Inn in another location, I might not have even noticed the difference - it was that minimal. We were on our way home from Florida. We selected this hotel weeks before our drive. The hotel was very clean. Our room was more than adequate. The breakfast was adequate and what you would expect. We wanted a clean, quiet room for the night, and we got it.

My husband and I needed to stay overnight at a hotel and then catch a plane home for the holidays. This hotel goes above and beyond with the best service we have ever had at even an expensive hotel!! Cookies baked in the afternoon, lovely breakfast and clean rooms. Amos was great as everyone was. We left our car there Nile we were gone back to Maine for the week. The hotel shuttle did not run as early as our flight was so they called a cab and paid for the cab!! We will use this hotel again!!

This is not one of your most modern hotels of the Hilton Brand. Hallways are narrow and elevators are functional but definitely not new. But what is lacking in infrastructure is made up for by a very caring and professional staff. The cleaning staff work very hard and once you're in your room, you enjoy the high quality experience you expect from a Hilton brand. My room, though small, was quiet and clean. The location is convenient and I felt safe.

We recently stayed here 4 nights. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great location. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast selection. Will definitely stay here again when we are in Columbia.

Arrived and the lobby smelled like cigarette smoke. Got to the room and it looked just fine. The king bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. The room looked cleaned but only 2 towels, hand towels and wash clothes each. The air conditioner was placed on high, cool and set on 55 degrees but it was still hot in the room. The walls are thins and you can hear what is going on in other rooms and in the hall way. The toilet is very loud and runs for awhile after you flush it. It was an ok room ... Read more

Hotel needs updating. Area is poor and rooms were very old. Guest room doors had brown frames attached which looked like doors had been kicked in. Just didn't seem very clean. I would not stay here again.
