The only oldest Hampton In the Area. Got that right. I'm not a Hampton Girl I stay more at the higher in Hiltons. However, I had no Choice here. The rooms need updating. It was kids there when I was visiting making it hard to sleep. I did like the area. The post office was right next door. But will look in another area when visiting.

This hotel is very convenient to Furman's campus and offered everything we could have needed while we were there to pick up our daughter from her Freshmen year. The customer service was outstanding and I'm just sorry I didn't book sooner for parents weekend in the fall since they are already sold out! I will definitely be staying here again!

The hotel provides amazing coffee and breakfast. They were very helpful with our questions and made sure maintenance came as soon as possible. This hotel is in a great location if you are traveling to Furman University or downtown Greenville. It is a short drive and the airport is easily accessible as well. Although it is not 5 star, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The only problem I had was the absence of a mini-fridge and microwave in the room.

Great service and breakfast. Clean, comfortable room at a reasonable rate. The fitness center had decent equipment (used the bike and elliptical). A little too cold to use the pool on this trip. Will stay there again.

Had issue with TV and had to contact desk several times with no resolve. They need to work on communications. Otherwise great property in a great location on Swamp Rabbit Trail and within walking distance of restaurants and bars in Travelers Rest.

We chose Travelers Rest for easy access to ride the trail into and around Greenville. The Hampton Inn provided a quiet, clean and relaxing location for us after riding the trail and hiking at Paris mountain state park. It's close proximity to Greenville provides many options for dining and shopping.

Our room was clean and pool was well kept, and had a lot of chairs, staff seemed less helpful then other Hampton Inns. The breakfast was not well stocked or maintained. Good location very easy to walk to supper and a movie.

The rooms are pretty standard. It's everything else that earns the 5 Stars. The staff is super friendly and extremely helpful. Upon arrival we asked if our room had a fridge in it. The manager said unfortunately not. A few minutes later, as we're unpacking, she was at our door with a fridge.. Each morning the breakfast was delicious. This was my second stay at this hotel. I'll be back.

Would not stay here again, AC was LOUD. The mattress was hard. I got very little sleep. Will go out of my way to avoid this place on my next trip. For the money they charge I expected a better experience.

This was our second visit to this hotel to visit family. We would definitely stay again. It's clean, comfortable, easy to access with friendly staff. I thought it was a little pricey, but I would still continue to stay here.

Reasonably priced clean comfortable rooms are what you learn to expect from Hampton Inn. Exactly what you get and throw in complimentary breakfast to boot. Who could ask for anything more? Set in idyllic Travelers Rest with great restaurants and beautiful surroundings, Hampton Inn is perfectly situated for a family get away.

Checked in after a tiring all day drive hoping to trust that this Hampton and it's staff would do the right thing for the guest - and provide a proper functioning room. NOPE! Booked 2 night on points as a premium Hilton Honors member but got a room with a shower and tub that would not drain - so we stood in dirty water while showering. WHY would the maids NOT report this when cleaning the shower? This is a poor reflection on the maids and management of the hotel in general. We expect ... Read more

My sister and I spent 2 nights at the Hampton Inn. Our first room had,a great view and the room was fine except for the bathtub not draining properly. On our second night the room was fine. We changed to a different room. Breakfast in the morning was great. There were many choices and all looked appetizing. On our next visit to see our friends, we will probably stay here.

Not your typical Hampton but you can't beat the location to Furman. Only reason to stay here. Hotel is dated, worn and rooms have stained carpet, stained and dated furniture and worn fixtures. Would not stay again except for the location. Definitely not worth the money for this dated establishment.

The hotel is located very close to downtown Travelers Rest. You could walk if you desired! The rooms are quiet. We had a change of plans and needed to stay an extra night. Though we had to change rooms, the staff had our new room ready first thing in the morning. The breakfast menu was varied and quite good. We plan to come again!

We stayed here for two nights while in town for a wedding. When we checked in the staff was friendly and got us settled into our room. Everything was nice and clean. Breakfast was decent for the typical hot morning breakfasts at a lot of hotels now. My daughter and I got a chance to swim the outdoor pool which was a good chance for us to cool off. On the down notes. We are typically guests of the choice hotels brands which usually have a microwave and small fridge in each room. These do not. I b... Read more

We stopped here for one night on our way to a church weekend. The staff was extremely efficient and helpful. The town of Travelers Rest is a nice place to visit and sits on the end of the Jackrabbit Trail. There are numerous restaurants in the area and it is only a few short miles from Greenville, SC. The rooms were well supplied and extremely clean. The price of the room is lower than if you wanted to stay closer to Greenville. Breakfast was good and there was sufficient tables in the dining... My top priority is the cleanliness of the room. Our room was clean, the bathroom was clean and the linens were clean. Room was a bit humid when we arrived, but got better after turning on air. There was a fridge and microwave in the room. The lady at the desk was nice and efficient. She gave us coupons to the place we were going to eat dinner. The room was quiet.

Easy parking me convenient to travelers rest. Good bed, quiet room and nice employees. Have stayed several times and will return. Lucky to have this hotel in small town. Might need a few more mini fridges available to guests as they were all being used. Also, might cut the curb in parking lot to make rolling luggage easier for guests.

We stayed for 2 nights when visiting family in the area. The front desk check in was problematic . I requested a quiet room , and was told "of course", and then was given a room facing the highway right next to the elevator and ice machine . The room was clean and the beds comfy. There was no closet in the room nor any bar from which to hang clothes. There was no mini fridge either. The hotel gym was adequate. There are no laundry facilities in the hotel. My teenage son and I were here for a junior golf tournament at Furman Univ. The location was perfect. At the time I made reservations there were no rooms available with 2 beds. No one selects a Hampton Inn because they think it's going to be glamorous or luxurious but this time it didn't matter. The hotel was super clean and the staff could not be nicer. From the housekeeper to the front desk to the breakfast room attendant each and every person greeted us and treated us with respect. The rooms are very clean and we would definitely stay here again. This is a nice hotel with good amenities for its size. Very clean. The breakfast was plentiful with waffles, eggs, sausage, gravy/biscuits and included typical cold items of cereal, fruit, etc. The breakfast area was clean with ample seating area. We were trying for a hotel further north but due to leaf season and lateness of making reservation, ended up this far south. We had a little trouble finding the hotel from our northern approach coming down I-25. Fortunately, my wife caught a view of the building and we had to go around the block twice before we called them to find out how to get there. The hotel had hot cookies ready for us- that was nice.
