Wonderful place to stay, clean and comfortable hotel. The staff was friendly and professional and just what you needed after a long travel day. Great location for where we needed to be early the next morning. I would definitely stay there again.

Traveled to Greenville, SC to visit and surprise relatives. We decided to stay in Travelers Rest because of proximity to a brother acting as our navigator. Found the Hampton Inn at Travelers Rest to be quiet, clean, and friendly. Rooms were cleaned properly every day, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent comfortable bedding and updated bathroom. We highly recommend this hotel for the upcountry region of SC!

Perfect access to Furman campus, relatives (if you have them there), and downtown Greenville. Also right across the street from access to Swamp Rabbit running paved path 26 miles long. Mixed review among family on food, but waffles came out well, meat available, boiled eggs, and oatmeal, among others like fruit, juice, etc. Also like 24 hour access to coffee.

The room I was given was something I would expect at an old ran down motel. The tiles in the bathrooms are faded and discolored. The decor is non existing, not to mention the phone in the room was not working. Very disappointed with my room. I am thinking about contacting corporate.

Great place to stay if you are near Travelers Rest. Staff is very nice and breakfast is just what you need to start your day. If you want another breakfast or type of meal, there is a MacDonald's next door. You're on route 25 and the interstates are close by and street signs are conveniently posted for you.

Convenient hotel that had the usual Hampton amenities. It is older, but my room was clean, and breakfast was good. Doesn't carry the price tag of the downtown Greenville hotels or the Asheville hotels.

The hotel staff was couterous and very helpful. The complimentary breakfast was more than I anticipated and the hours of operation for the breakfast made use of the facility worked for early risers as well as late sleepers

We stayed here for Furman Homecoming, very convenient to the campus. Very comfortable, quiet room. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was actually a hot breakfast -- grits, eggs, sausage, French toast, and really good biscuits! Much better than the average Hampton Inn breakfast. The hotel could use some updating, there were some scorch marks from an iron on the carpet in our room, but that sort of thing doesn't bother me. Everything else more than made up for... Read more

We were trying for a hotel further north but due to leaf season and lateness of making reservation, ended up this far south. We had a little trouble finding the hotel from our northern approach coming down I-25. Fortunately, my wife caught a view of the building and we had to go around the block twice before we called them to find out how to get there. The hotel had hot cookies ready for us- that was nice. The room was fine, good beds and it worked out well. We did have a noisy family that ... Read more
