We only stayed here one night, but wished we could've stayed longer to enjoy the nice room and the pool. We really liked the look of our room, which was nicer than some other places we've stayed. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed here three nights and have no complaints at all. The hotel and room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was pleasant and helpful. It is a close drive into Charleston making its location ideal. The are lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Would recommend and stay again.

Our room was large with a sofa in the room. Hotel was nice and quiet. Parking was a problem if you did not park early. WIFI did not work all of the time. Kept losing connection and it was also slow when connected. Didn't really impact our stay much.

My husband and I had booked a room for 2 nights. The first night we noticed the air conditioner case was broken. I pulled back the curtain, the entire wood frame was broke off. The door on the fridge did not close properly, everything froze. No lid on ice bucket. The envelope of coupons for Charleston were expired in March and April 2014. The bathroom, every time you flushed the toilet water came out from the base. It filled the grout lines. I took pictures and informed the desk. They made no ef... Read more

Room 101 was very nice itself, and we were overall very comfortable staying there. It was very clean too. This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in, in this area. The first night we had a lot of trouble trying to log into the wifi. The desk clerk gave me what assistance she could and we were able to log in after several attempts. There is some noise from the outside door in the hallway and the door to the stairs right next to Room 101, but we were able to get to sleep at a reasonable hour.... Read more

We have stayed at this Comfort Suites many times. The room is always fresh and clean and comfortable. Fragrance free request is always met. The manager Bob Rea is always greatly friendly and helpful as is his staff. It is in an out of the way place which is quiet and peaceful.

We stayed two nights while exploring Charleston. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean, and it was nice and quiet. The AC worked so well my daughter, who was using the fold out sofa bed in front of the AC, complained about how well it worked. The kids enjoyed the outdoor pool after exploring Charleston on a couple of hot days.

We stopped here the night before going to the beach in Charleston. The rate was reasonable for a family of 5, and the beds were relatively comfortable. The room looked somewhat dated with popcorn ceilings and older carpet. We never got the wifi to work and I saw some sort of insect scurrying along the bathroom floor. It didn't seem well maintained as housekeeping had left trash behind the curtain. It functioned as needed, but I won't be coming back anytime soon.

The Good: The beds are very comfortable although a little short. I am 6" 2 and my feet were dangling off the bed. No biggie though. Cooling system was very effective. Room was quite large (double suite) and little kitchen area was adequate. Shower was good with great water pressure. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Felt safe there and the lobby is nicely presented. Great location for Charleston and beyond. The Bad: There was a slight odor to the room however the AC took care of that. I am ... Read more

My family and I arrived around 11pm on a Thursday night and was checked into room 304. When walking into the room we were immediately hit with a musty mildew smell that was unbearable. We turned the A/C on hoping that having some air circulate would help with the odor but didn't help but only worsened. Thankfully there was a Walmart right next to the hotel, My family and I decided to go by some air fresheners to see if that would help us at least until the following morning. This did not assis... Bed comfortable, room clean. Breakfast good and Sandy very friendly and helpful. Common areas, the floor could have been vacuumed better. There were a lot of truckers which could account for mud on floors in lobby areas.

We visit Charleston/Summerville often as my daughter lives there. We stay at the Comfort Suites and it has always been clean, the people have always been pleasant. We have been allowed early check in on the times we traveled with the elderly grandparents.

The experience was similar to the review below with the same title. On the positive, the hotel was extremely clean. However the condition of the hotel and the breakfast did not warrant the $108 discounted rate.

Just checked out this morning and really am not sure how I felt about our one night stay. The location is good, the staff seemed friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the pillows were perfect. But, the property feels a little dated and worn. That in itself is not a problem, but seeing that toothpaste splatters were not cleaned from the bathroom mirror from the previous person made me uncomfortable.

This was a fairly nice hotel, but I noticed things that could've made it better. Air ducts needed cleaning, as well as floors, like the one in the elevator, which seemed pretty beat up. It wasn't a bad place by any means, but maintaining the things mentioned would've made it a 10 instead of an 8. It was very quiet, which was a huge plus.

It is above average in that it is spacious and very comfortable. The bed is large and very restful. The small sitting room is well appreciated. I would have preferred to be able to view the TV easily from there and not just the bed. The free breakfast is good. The area around the hotel is quiet. It is very convenient to Chatleston.

We booked our youth baseball group here for a weekend tournament. The price was too high for that hotel. The walls are very thin and the technology is outdated. The WIFI didnt work and the pool was green and nasty..not to mention it was very small even if it had been cleaned. The breakfast was not very good either. It was a waste of a lot of money and ruined our fall getaway....

We evacuated to Summerville from a tidal area during the storm. The staff did their best to make our stay comfortable. They even provided a continental breakfast despite a hurricane outside. We had some issues with the room but had a good stay over all.

We really liked this room overall, with one serious drawback, that I will get to! It was very spacious, very comfortably laid out. Decor updated, warm, inviting. It had everything you need and then some! There was even the rarely seen feature of bendable reading lamps on each side of the bed! That's why it was SO disappointing that the bathroom was noticeably dirty (a total "put off"!!) and the carpet was dirty! I had new white socks on and after walking around the room only briefly, they were ... Read more

Friendly front desk staff. Free newspapers. Clean. Comfortable beds. Great water pressure in shower. Quiet. Great breakfast though seating is limited. Plenty of parking. Good location. Overall, much better than expected - I can't figure out why they are rated #6 of 9 hotels in Summerville. They should be ranked much higher. I would highly recommend.

This is an Older hotel with much renovation. Hard to find since it's right next to a Comfort Inn and is not shown on GPS. Rooms are ok and location is Great. Right off 26 and 41 and easy access to shopping and eating.
