We were at the Inn for three nights and the place was very nice. I requested a first floor room and this was granted when we arrived on Wednesday evening. The check in was nice and it is always nice when you are greeted and told if you need anything to let the front desk know. David was very nice and friendly and talked to use about our visit yo the area. It was quiet and our room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was tasty, pretty much the usual hotel breakfast, but with that bei... Read more

This a quick business trip. Checked in on Sunday around 5:00PM, the front desk clerk was on the phone when I came in and told me she would be with me in minute. I had done the online check and usually the front desk has the keys ready to go. Waited for a few minutes for her to finish her phone call and she made my keys, only one worked. Was disappointed that the top floor was a smoking floor and stayed on the second. The cleaning staff was still working when I dropped my bags off in my room. Wen... Read more

The hotel was not far off I-26 next ton the Westgate Mall. Close to many restaurants. Hotel was clean, lobby was nice. Had coffee, ice tea, minted water and cookies at check-in. Staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations for dinner. The only problem was with our key cards for the room. They didn't work and when we went back to the front desk they said they have been having problems with their new key cards. We stayed two nights at the Hampton Inn in Spartanburg for a college graduation. This was our third stay at this hotel. The hotel itself is nice, and is at the upper end for a Hampton Inn. The rooms were very spacious. However, the staff was less than helpful. I am a Hilton Honors silver member with lots of points and we got no recognition whatsoever as I have received at all other Hiltons. Second, I needed to change the type of one room reserved and got no help at all from the front ... Read more

Overall: Great location (excellent to have so many shops next door, especially Costco), very quiet and will stay here on next trip to Spartanburg Pros: Quiet, clean, good sized room, great location to shops and a Costco (cheap dinner!) Cons: Staff wasn't up to par from other Hamptons, small "fitness" center

We've stayed here several times for our visits to Spartanburg. It's a clean, & nice budget hotel. The continental breakfast is standard, but a pleasant perk to the room price. During one of our stays, the hotel elevator was broken for several nights. It didn't bother us too much since we were on the second floor, but we did wonder what was taking so long to fix it. Other than that, pleasant stay. Would return & recommend.

This hotel has a good location near a shopping mall and Costco. It is old and in dire need of updating. Furniture is 70's era and not very clean. Bed linens are old and tattered, especially the duvet covers. Carpet needs to replaced and is dirty and stained.

I always try to stay at Hampton Inns because I am happy with their service and their accommodations. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by the desk person. The staff is incredibly friendly which is so nice at the end of a long day at the office. They have fresh fruit on the breakfast bar which is unusual. Their coffee is excellent. The room was clean and cool. This location is sooo much better than the down town Marriott since you are close to shopping, restaurants and minutes from down town Spartanburg.

Stayed here just one night while in town on business and found this house to be what I've come to expect from Hampton Inn. The night clerk was very welcoming and helpful, the room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The next morning the breakfast room was clean and well stocked and attended by two friendly and welcoming ladies. And lastly, the young man driving the shuttle was courteous and helpful. Would for sure stay here in the future.

This place is really nice. Our King Suite with pullout couch is huge. Staff is spectacular (Katy and Shauna) and they did a great job getting our baseball team what we needed and addressed changes quickly as they came about throughout the week. Lobby/restaurant area is huge and there is plenty of room for our team parents to hang out after hours. This property is beautiful! Nice work to the design team on that! ;) beds were comfortable, room was clean and cool! Breakfast was great all around as well. If I had one suggestion it would be the soap holders on the walls in the shower. They were oddly placed-aren't those supposed to be in the corner? Not sure why they were on the side wall- made it a little uncomfortable in the shower. Other than that, they had super service and we had a very pleasant nights rest. Highly recommended!

Hampton Inn & Suites in Spartanburg provided us with a clean, comfortable, spacious lodging experience. We stayed only one night, so we didn't take advantage of amenities like the indoor pool, but we did enjoy a restful night's sleep in an air conditioned room and a plentiful breakfast bar in the morning. The staff demonstrated high standards in customer care, and my mother enjoyed talking to the lady who worked the front desk. Friendly, welcoming people are always a plus!

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. I have never stayed somewhere where the people were so accommodating. I have never lived in the south however, so that could have been part of my experience. However, the hotel had a sign which said if we were not satisfied in any way, we would not have to pay for our stay. And they were truly amazing! I will stay here again when I come back to Spartanburg. They are very friendly. Super helpful. Great location off of I 26 and right next to a Costco and nice shopping mall The free breakfast is very good with hot items that change daily. The coffee is available 24/7. They have a great robust blend and that was welcomed being from the Seattle area I tend to be a coffee snob.

I had lost my driver's lic at airport on way down. Since I had no rental car. I called Hampton and Dave gave me instruction and set me up with shuttles for my work the next day. The staff was a God send and service including breakfast could not have been better or more appreciated. This is the only place to stay for me when in the area.
