"The hotel/condo was great. Nice pool area, staff great and bar/restuarant fantastic for a small place. Don't usually stay this far down in Myrtle close to Cherry Hill but beach across street, grocery very close, Main Street like one mile away with bars etc. instead of heading to Broadway at the Beach. Alot of family activities. Room were get and book it price was far less then most people were paying at the resort. Definately would go back!!"

"Poor management. The staff do not care about customer. Make sure you let the staff take a look at room before you enter and leave hotel otherwise they will charge you $250 for things you did not do. Take picture of any stain in carpet, furniture and walls before you leave hotel as a proof because they charged me for stain that we did not do in the room. We do not drink soda and they charge me for soda stain on wall and on furniture. It is hard to prove that we did not do but I learned my lession. I just want other people who stay there to be aware. The manager did not even call me after I left messages for her regarding $250 charge on my credit card. I will not recommend my family and friends to stay at this hotel."

"The Tilghman is a very nice resort and the location in North Myrtle Beach was wonderful. Close to lots of good restaurants and shops and things weren't overly crowded. The walk to the beach was very easy (right across the street from the resort). The condo was spacious and a good value for the money. My only complaints were that the master bedroom mattress was nearing the end of its life and the carpets were stained and in need of replacement in the kitchen area. Even with these 2 complaints I would recommend staying here."

"This hotel was a breath of fresh air. We had originally booked our trip at Baywatch resort in Myrtle Beach, which was a complete horror, dirty, filthy, run down and we only just peeked at our room there and immediately left and re-booked at The Tighlman beach and Golf resort. This resort exceeded all our expectations right down to the food at the pool bar. The rooms were very clean, and could be a place where I could acually live, staff was friendly, plus, plus, plus. Would HIGHLY recommend this resort and I will stay at no other when I return to Myrtle Beach! :)"

"The Beach and Golf Resort was very nice, clean and spacious. We had 4 children with us 2 of them babies and had plenty of room. It was just a short walk across the street to the beach so we did not have to take our stroller with us. We just carried the babies and had no problems. We will be coming back. We all had a great time!"

"We had taken our first real vacation as a family last summer at Myrtle and I was extremely dissapointed with everything. I wanted my wife and kids to have at least one good memory from the trip so I booked a nights stat at the Tilghman in North Myrtle. We were blown away! the room was beautiful, clean, and with everything you could need. The staff was totally friendly and helpful as were many of the other guests. We stayed for two nights and had the best vacation experience you could ask for!"

"Spent 4th of July week here....NEVER AGAIN! Changed rooms 3 times and found roaches in every room. The management office was horrible and made it seem that 'palmetto bugs' were common in Myrtle Beach. If you don't mind sleeping in a room with roaches then this is your place."

"We found a great deal on BookIt.com to stay at Tilgham for New Years weekend. We had passed this resort many times but had never stayed there. What a great resort !
As stated before in other reviews--it is very clean, spacious, beautifully decorated, friendly staff, free dvds, flat screen tvs, is located across the street from the beach and has a parking deck w/ elevator accessible from every level of the parking deck.
It is also close to grocery store, gas station, & restaurants.
The unit had everything we needed except paper towels & napkins--no big deal with a grocery store nearby.
We especially liked the view of the golf course and grounds from the living room and master bedrm.
We would definitely recommend this resort to others and look forward to returning.

"I used bookit.com to search for a hotel that would suit 5 adult women for a get away in Sept 2011 I wanted at least 3 bedrooms, I searched and found Tilghman Golf and Resort which was perfect because we had 3 bedrooom in which 2 of the bedrooms had 2 beds and master bedroom 1 king size bed all of the bedrooms had a balcony in which we could see the beach and the lake....(THE CORNER UNIT IN THE FRONT OF THE HOTEL IS THE ABSOULUTE BEST)....also free dvd rentals and a resturant inside the hotel, a lazy river, outside pool, and inside pool (free parking, and staff were friendly)"

Every staff member we encountered was very customer focused, very nice and helpful.The rooms were very nice, clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. "Stayed here over the Labor Day Holiday with my husband and three children. Room was nice enough...carpets need to be cleaned and hallways could use painting. Over all very nice stay. Just a few things to remember when you stay here: take your own hair dryer, salt and pepper, paper towels and laundry detergent (none of these in the room)"

"Our family of 8 stayed at the Tilghman Resort for 4 nights and enjoyed the corner 3 bedroom oceanview condo. Even though we were not on the beach the high across the street view was quite satisfctory. The facility was clean and well supplied. Our balcony was comfortable nd we could see the fireworks show at Broadway at the Beach. An on site restaurant had tasty food, was a little pricey, but available. Activities were available for the 7 yr old each day for a small fee. The 4 year old could only look on. Water in all the pools was very cold even on a 100 degree day. Beach was crowded, but accessible through a sandy walkway between buildings. Would stay again."

"My spouse and 14 year old visited Tilghman Beach & Golf Resort the week of 7/18/11 where we stayed in room 1204. I was not looking for excitement, but a low key atmosphere with some relaxation. I was satisfied & would visit again.



Check-in: We arrived on Mon after 5pm, no wait whatsoever



Room - all 3 bedrooms & bathrooms very clean.



Kitchen - some utensils & silverware had to be rewashed before use



View - Great: we had a ocean view on 12th floor



Noise level - very quiet Mon-Thu, noise level higher at weekend



Noise level 2 - our room next to elevators, many kids & parents loud as they waited for elevator.



Elevators - we had no problems with accessing in a timely fashion



Pool - Observed from room, was crowded up thru mid-morning, sparse afterwards



Internet - worked fabulously in room & on balcony



Ocean access - very easy to cross street, traffic wasn't a problem



Check-out: 9:30am Saturday morning, no waiting"

"Our family stay at your resort was the nicest vacation I have had in a long time. We usually go on a cruise or fly to an island but this by far out exceeds our wildest dreams.
